Números 8
1 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 Falla a Aarão, e dize-lhe: Quando accenderes as lampadas, defronte do candieiro allumiarão as sete lampadas.
Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When thou light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.
3 E Aarão fez assim: defronte da face do candieiro accendeu as suas lampadas, como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés.
And Aaron did so. He lit the lamps of it in front of the lampstand, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
4 E era esta obra do candieiro de oiro batido; desde o seu pé até ás suas flores era batido: conforme ao modelo que o Senhor mostrara a Moysés, assim elle fez o candieiro.
And this was the work of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. To the base of it, and to the flowers of it, it was beaten work. According to the pattern which Jehovah had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
5 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
6 Toma os levitas do meio dos filhos de Israel, e purifica-os;
Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 E assim lhes farás, para os purificar: Esparge sobre elles a agua da expiação; e sobre toda a sua carne farão passar a navalha, e lavarão os seus vestidos, e se purificarão.
And thus thou shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them, and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
8 Então tomarão um novilho, com a sua offerta de manjares de flor de farinha amassada com azeite; e tomarás outro novilho, para expiação do peccado.
Then let them take a young bullock, and its meal offering-fine flour mingled with oil. And thou shall take another young bullock for a sin offering.
9 E farás chegar os levitas perante a tenda da congregação; e farás ajuntar toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel.
And thou shall present the Levites before the tent of meeting. And thou shall assemble the whole congregation of the sons of Israel,
10 Farás pois chegar os levitas perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Israel porão as suas mãos sobre os levitas.
and thou shall present the Levites before Jehovah. And the sons of Israel shall lay their hands upon the Levites.
11 E Aarão moverá os levitas por offerta de movimento perante o Senhor pelos filhos de Israel; e serão para servirem no ministerio do Senhor.
And Aaron shall offer the Levites before Jehovah for a wave offering on the behalf of the sons of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Jehovah.
12 E os levitas porão as suas mãos sobre a cabeça dos novilhos: então sacrifica tu um para expiação do peccado, e o outro para holocausto ao Senhor, para fazer expiação sobre os levitas
And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and offer thou the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites.
13 E porás os levitas perante Aarão, e perante os seus filhos, e os moverás por offerta de movimento ao Senhor.
And thou shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for a wave offering to Jehovah.
14 E separarás os levitas do meio dos filhos de Israel, para que os levitas meus sejam.
Thus shall thou separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
15 E depois os levitas entrarão para fazerem o serviço da tenda da congregação: e tu os purificarás, e por offerta de movimento os moverás.
And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And thou shall cleanse them, and offer them for a wave offering.
16 Porquanto elles do meio dos filhos de Israel, me são dados: em logar de todo aquelle que abre a madre, do primogenito de cada qual dos filhos de Israel, para mim os tenho tomado.
For they are wholly given to me from among the sons of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the sons of Israel, I have taken them to me.
17 Porque meu é todo o primogenito entre os filhos de Israel, entre os homens e entre os animaes; no dia em que, na terra do Egypto, feri a todo o primogenito, os sanctifiquei para mim.
For all the firstborn among the sons of Israel are mine, both man and beast. On the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
18 E tomei os levitas em logar de todo o primogenito entre os filhos de Israel.
And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
19 E os levitas, dados a Aarão e a seus filhos, do meio dos filhos de Israel, tenho dado para ministrarem o ministerio dos filhos de Israel na tenda da congregação, e para fazer expiação pelos filhos de Israel, para que não haja praga entre os filhos de Israel, chegando-se os filhos de Israel ao sanctuario.
And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, that there be no plague among the sons of Israel, when the sons of Israel come near to the sanctuary.
20 E fez Moysés e Aarão, e toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, com os levitas assim: conforme a tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moysés ácerca dos levitas, assim os filhos de Israel lhes fizeram.
Thus did Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the Levites. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the sons of Israel did to them.
21 E os levitas se purificaram, e lavaram os seus vestidos, e Aarão os moveu por offerta movida perante o Senhor, e Aarão fez expiação por elles, para purifical-os.
And the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Jehovah, and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 E depois vieram os levitas, para ministrarem o seu ministerio na tenda da congregação, perante Aarão e perante os seus filhos: como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés ácerca dos levitas, assim lhes fizeram.
And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons. As Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
23 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
24 Isto é o officio dos levitas: Da edade de vinte e cinco annos e para cima entrarão, para fazerem o serviço no ministerio da tenda da congregação;
This is that which belongs to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting.
25 Mas desde a edade de cincoenta annos sairá da milicia d'este ministerio, e nunca mais servirá:
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the work, and shall serve no more,
26 Porém com os seus irmãos servirá na tenda da congregação, para terem cuidado da guarda; porém o ministerio não ministrará: assim farás com os levitas nas suas guardas.
but shall minister with their brothers in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shall thou do to the Levites concerning their charges.
