Números 36
1 E chegaram os cabeças dos paes da geração dos filhos de Gilead, filho de Machir, filho de Manasseh, das familias dos filhos de José, e fallaram diante de Moysés, e diante dos maioraes, cabeças dos paes dos filhos d'Israel,
And the heads of the fathers of the families of the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, come near and speak before Moses and before the princes, heads of the fathers of the sons of Israel,
2 E disseram: O Senhor mandou dar esta terra a meu senhor por sorte, por herança aos filhos d'Israel: e a meu senhor foi ordenado pelo Senhor, que a herança do nosso irmão Selofad se désse a suas filhas.
and say, “YHWH commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel, and my lord has been commanded by YHWH to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
3 E, casando-se ellas com algum dos filhos das outras tribus dos filhos d'Israel, então a sua herança seria diminuida da herança de nossos paes, e accrescentada á herança da tribu de quem forem: assim se tiraria da sorte da nossa herança.
Now [if] they have been [given] to one from the sons of the [other] tribes of the sons of Israel for wives, and their inheritance has been withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers, and has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and it is withdrawn from the lot of our inheritance,
4 Vindo tambem o anno do jubileo dos filhos d'Israel, a sua herança se accrescentaria á herança da tribu d'aquelles com que se casarem: assim a sua herança será tirada da herança da tribu de nossos paes.
and if it is the Jubilee of the sons of Israel, then their inheritance has been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and their inheritance is withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
5 Então Moysés deu ordem aos filhos d'Israel, segundo o mandado do Senhor, dizendo: A tribu dos filhos de José falla bem.
And Moses commands the sons of Israel by the command of YHWH, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph is speaking correctly;
6 Esta é a palavra que o Senhor mandou ácerca das filhas de Selofad, dizendo: Sejam por mulheres a quem bem parecer aos seus olhos, comtanto que se casem na familia da tribu de seu pae.
this [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those good in their eyes let them be for wives; only, let them be for wives to a family of the tribe of their fathers;
7 Assim a herança dos filhos d'Israel não passará de tribu em tribu: pois os filhos d'Israel se chegarão cada um á herança da tribu de seus paes.
and the inheritance of the sons of Israel does not turn around from tribe to tribe; for each of the sons of Israel cleaves to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
8 E qualquer filha que herdar alguma herança das tribus dos filhos d'Israel se casará com alguem da geração da tribu de seu pae: para que os filhos de Israel possuam cada, um a herança di seus paes
And every daughter possessing an inheritance from the tribes of the sons of Israel is for a wife to one from the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel each possess the inheritance of his fathers,
9 Assim a herança não passará d'uma tribu a outra: pois as tribus dos filhos d'Israel se chegarão cada uma á sua herança.
and the inheritance does not turn around from [one] tribe to another tribe; for each of the tribes of the sons of Israel cleaves to his inheritance.”
10 Como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés, assim fizeram as filhas de Selofad.
As YHWH has commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad have done,
11 Pois Machla, Thirsa, e Hogla, e Milca, e Noha, filhas de Selofad, se casaram com os filhos de seus tios.
and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, daughters of Zelophehad, are for wives to the sons of their fathers’ brothers;
12 Das familias dos de Manasseh, filho de José, ellas foram mulheres: assim a sua herança ficou á tribu da familia de seu pae.
they have been for wives [to men] from the families of the sons of Manasseh, son of Joseph, and their inheritance is with the tribe of the family of their father.
13 Estes são os mandamentos e os juizos que mandou o Senhor pela mão de Moysés aos filhos de Israel nas campinas dos moabitas, junto ao Jordão de Jericó.
These [are] the commands and the judgments which YHWH has commanded by the hand of Moses concerning the sons of Israel, in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [near] Jericho.
