Números 35
1 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés nas campinas dos moabitas, junto ao Jordão de Jericó, dizendo:
And the Lord spak these thingis to Moises, in the feeldi places of Moab, aboue Jordan,
2 Dá ordem aos filhos de Israel que, da herança da sua possessão, dêem cidades aos levitas, em que habitem: e tambem aos levitas dareis arrabaldes ao redor d'ellas.
ayens Jericho, Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel, that thei yyue to dekenes of her possessiouns,
3 E terão estas cidades para habital-as: porém os seus arrabaldes serão para as suas bestas, e para a sua fazenda, e para todos os seus animaes.
citees to dwelle, and the suburbabis of tho bi cumpas, that thei dwelle in `the citees, and the suburbabis be to beestis, and `werk beestis;
4 E os arrabaldes das cidades que dareis aos levitas, desde o muro da cidade e para fóra, serão de mil covados em redor.
whiche suburbabis schulen be strecchid forth fro the wallis of citees with outforth `bi cumpas, in the space of a thousynde paacis;
5 E de fóra da cidade, da banda do oriente, medireis dois mil covados, e da banda do sul dois mil covados, e da banda do occidente dois mil covados, e da banda do norte dois mil covados, e a cidade no meio: isto terão por arrabaldes das cidades.
ayens the eest schulen be two thousynde cubitis, and ayens the south in lijk manere schulen be two thousynde cubitis, and at the see that biholdith to the west schal be the same mesure, and the north coost schal be endid bi euene terme. And the citees schulen be in the myddis, and the suburbabis with outforth.
6 Das cidades pois que dareis aos levitas haverá seis cidades de refugio, as quaes dareis para que o homicida ali se acolha: e, além d'estas, lhes dareis quarenta e duas cidades.
Forsothe of tho citees whiche ye schulen yyue to dekenes, sixe schulen be departid in to helpis of fugityues, `ether of fleynge men, that he that schedde blood, fle to tho; and outakun these sixe, ye schulen yyue to dekenes othere two and fourti citees,
7 Todas as cidades que dareis aos levitas serão quarenta e oito cidades, juntamente com os seus arrabaldes.
that is, togidere eiyte and fourti, with her surburbabis.
8 E as cidades que derdes da herança dos filhos de Israel, do que tiver muito tomareis muito, e do que tiver pouco tomareis pouco: cada um dará das suas cidades aos levitas, segundo a sua herança que herdar.
And tho citees that schulen be youun of the possessiouns of sones of Israel, schulen be takun awey, mo fro hem that han more, and fewere `schulen be takun awey fro hem that han lesse, alle bi hem silf schulen yyue bi the mesure of her eritage, citees to dekenes.
9 Fallou mais o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
The Lord seide to Moises,
10 Falla aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando passardes o Jordão á terra de Canaan,
Spek thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, Whanne ye han passid Jordan, in the lond of Canaan,
11 Fazei com que vos estejam á mão cidades que vos sirvam de cidades de refugio, para que ali se acolha o homicida que ferir a alguma alma por erro.
deme ye whiche citees owen to be in to the helpis of fugityues, whiche not wilfuli han sched blood.
12 E estas cidades vos serão por refugio do vingador do sangue: para que o homicida não morra, até que esteja perante a congregação no juizo.
In whiche whanne the fleere hath fled, the kynesman of hym that is slayn, schal not mow sle hym, til he stonde in the siyt of the multitude, and the cause of hym be demed.
13 E das cidades que derdes haverá seis cidades de refugio para vós.
Forsothe of tho citees that ben departid to the helpis of fugityues,
14 Tres d'estas cidades dareis d'áquem do Jordão, e tres d'estas cidades dareis na terra de Canaan: cidades de refugio serão.
thre schulen be ouer Jordan, and thre in the lond of Canaan;
15 Serão por refugio estas seis cidades para os filhos de Israel, e para o estrangeiro, e para o que se hospedar no meio d'elles, para que ali se acolha aquelle que ferir a alguma alma por erro.
as wel to the sones of Israel as to comelyngis and pilgryms; that he fle to tho citees, that schedde blood not wilfuli.
16 Porém, se a ferir com instrumento de ferro, e morrer, homicida é: certamente o homicida morrerá.
If ony man smytith a man with yrun, and he that is smytun is deed, `the smyter schal be gilti of mansleyng, and he schal die.
17 Ou, se lhe atirar uma pedrada, de que possa morrer, e ella morrer, homicida é: certamente o homicida morrerá.
If he castith a stoon, and a man is deed bi the strook, he schal be punyschid in lijk maner.
18 Ou, se a ferir com instrumento de pau que tiver na mão, de que possa morrer, e ella morrer, homicida é: certamente morrerá o homicida.
If a man smytun with a staf dieth, he schal be vengid bi `the blood of the smytere.
19 O vingador do sangue matará o homicida: encontrando-o, matal-o-ha.
The niy kynesman of hym that is slayn schal sle the mansleere; anoon as he takith hym, `that is, the manquellere, he schal sle hym.
20 Se tambem a empurrar com odio, ou com intento lançar contra ella alguma coisa, e morrer;
If bi haterede a man hurtlith, `ethir schoufith, `a man, ethir castith ony thing in to hym bi aspiyngis,
21 Ou por inimizade a ferir com a sua mão, e morrer, certamente morrerá o feridor; homicida é: o vingador do sangue, encontrando o homicida, o matará.
ether whanne he was enemy, smoot with hond, and he is deed, the smytere schal be gilti of mansleyng. The kynesman `of him that is slayn, anoon as he findith him, `that is, the sleere, schal sle hym.
22 Porém, se a empurrar de improviso, sem inimizade, ou contra ella lançar algum instrumento sem designio;
That if bi sudeyn caas, and without hatrede and enemytees,
23 Ou, sobre ella fizer cair alguma pedra sem o ver, de que possa morrer, e ella morrer, e elle não era seu inimigo nem procurava o seu mal;
he doith ony thing of these;
24 Então a congregação julgará entre o feridor e entre o vingador do sangue, segundo estas leis.
and this is preued in heryng `of the puple, and the questioun of blood is discussid bitwixe the smytere and the kynesman,
25 E a congregação livrará o homicida da mão do vingador do sangue, e a congregação o fará voltar á cidade do seu refugio, onde se tinha acolhido: e ali ficará até á morte do summo sacerdote, a quem ungiram com o sancto oleo.
the innocent schal be delyuered fro the hond of the vengere, and bi sentence of iugis he schal be led ayen in to the citee, to which he fledde, and he schal dwelle there, til the grete preest die, which is anoyntid with oile.
26 Porém, se de alguma maneira o homicida sair dos termos da cidade do seu refugio, onde se tinha acolhido,
If the sleere is foundun with out the coostis `of the citees that ben asigned to exilid men,
27 E o vingador do sangue o achar fóra dos termos da cidade do seu refugio, se o vingador do sangue matar o homicida, não será culpado do sangue.
and is slayn of him that is vengere, he that sleeth him, `that is, the exilid man, schal be with out gilt;
28 Pois deve ficar na cidade do seu refugio, até á morte do summo sacerdote: mas, depois da morte do summo sacerdote, o homicida voltará á terra da sua possessão.
for the exilid man ouyte sitte in the citee `til to the `deth of the bischop; forsothe aftir that thilke bischop is deed, the mansleere schal turne ayen in to his lond.
29 E estas coisas vos serão por estatuto de direito a vossas gerações, em todas as vossas habitações.
These schulen be euerlastynge and lawful thingis in alle youre dwellyngis.
30 Todo aquelle que ferir a alguma pessoa, conforme ao dito das testemunhas, matarão o homicida: mas uma só testemunha não testemunhará contra algum, para que morra.
A mansleere schal be punyschid vndur witnessis; no man schal `be dampned at the witnessyng of o man.
31 E não tomareis expiação pela vida o homicida, que culpado está de morte: antes certamente morrerá.
Ye schulen not take prijs of him which is gilti of blood, anoon and he schal die.
32 Tambem não tomareis expiação por aquelle que se acolher á cidade do seu refugio, para tornar a habitar na terra, até a morte do summo sacerdote.
Men exilid, and fugityues, schulen not mow turne ayen in ony maner in to her citees, bifore the deeth of the bischop, lest ye defoulen the lond of youre abitacioun,
33 Assim não profanareis a terra em que estaes; porque o sangue faz profanar a terra: e nenhuma expiação se fará pela terra por causa do sangue que se derramar n'ella, senão com o sangue d'aquelle que o derramou.
which is defoulid bi the blood of innocent men; and it may not be clensid in other maner, no but bi the blood of hym, that schedde the blood of anothir man.
34 Não contaminareis pois a terra na qual vós habitareis, no meio da qual eu habitarei: pois eu, o Senhor, habito no meio dos filhos d'Israel.
And so youre possessioun schal be clensid, for Y schal dwelle with you; for Y am the Lord, that dwelle among the sones of Israel.
