Números 32
1 E os filhos de Ruben e os filhos de Gad tinham muito gado em grande multidão; e viram a terra de Jaezer, e a terra de Gilead, e eis que o logar era logar de gado.
Forsothe the sones of Ruben and of Gad hadden many beestis, and catel with out noumbre was to hem, in werk beestis. And whanne thei hadden seyn Jazer and Galaad, couenable londis to beestis to be fed,
2 Vieram pois os filhos de Gad e os filhos de Ruben, e fallaram a Moysés e a Eleazar, o sacerdote, e aos maioraes da congregação, dizendo:
thei camen to Moyses and Eleazar, preest, and to the princes of the multitude, and seiden,
3 Ataroth, e Dibon, e Jaezer, e Nimra, e Hesbon, e Eleal, e Schebam, e Nebo, e Behon;
Astaroth, and Dibon, and Jacer, and Nemra, Esebon, and Eleale, and Sabam,
4 A terra que o Senhor feriu diante da congregação de Israel, é terra de gado: e os teus servos teem gado.
and Nebo, and Beon, the lond which the Lord smoot in the siyt of the sones of Israel, is of moost plenteuous cuntrey to the pasture of beestis; and we thi seruauntis han ful many beestis;
5 Disseram mais: Se achámos graça aos teus olhos, dê-se esta terra aos teus servos em possessão; e não nos faças passar o Jordão.
and we preyen, if we han founde grace bifor thee, that thou yyue to vs thi seruauntis that cuntrey in to possessioun, and make not vs to passe Jordan.
6 Porém Moysés disse aos filhos de Gad e aos filhos de Ruben: Irão vossos irmãos á peleja, e ficareis vós aqui?
To whiche Moises answeride, Whether youre britheren schulen go to batel, and ye schulen sitte here?
7 Porque pois descorajaes o coração dos filhos d'Israel, para que não passem á terra que o Senhor lhes tem dado?
Whi peruerten ye the soulis of Israel, that thei doren not passe in to the place, which the Lord schal yyue to hem?
8 Assim fizeram vossos paes, quando os mandei de Cades-barnea, a ver esta terra.
Whether youre fadris diden not so, whanne Y sente fro Cades Barne to aspie the lond,
9 Chegando elles até ao valle d'Escol, e vendo esta terra, descorajaram o coração dos filhos de Israel, para que não viessem á terra que o Senhor lhes tinha dado
and whanne thei camen to the valey of Clustre, whanne al the cuntrey was cumpassid, thei peruertiden the herte of the sones of Israel, that thei entriden not in to the coostis, whiche the Lord yaf to hem.
10 Então a ira do Senhor se accendeu n'aquelle mesmo dia, e jurou, dizendo:
And the Lord was wrooth, and swoor,
11 Que os varões, que subiram do Egypto, de vinte annos e para cima não verão a terra que jurei a Abrahão, a Isaac, e a Jacob porquanto não perseveraram em seguir-me;
seiynge, Thes men that stieden fro Egipt, fro twenti yeer and aboue, schulen not se the lond which Y bihiyte vndur an ooth to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and nolden sue me,
12 Excepto Caleb, filho de Jefoné o kenezeo, e Josué filho de Nun, porquanto perseveraram em seguir ao Senhor.
outakun Caleph, Cenezei, the sone of Jephone, and Josue, the sone of Nun; these tweyne filliden my wille.
13 Assim se accendeu a ira do Senhor contra Israel, e fêl-os andar errantes até que se consumiu toda aquella geração, que fizera mal aos olhos do Senhor.
And the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and ledde hym aboute the deseert bi fourti yeer, til al the generacioun was wastid, that hadde do yuel in the `siyt of the Lord.
14 E eis-que vós, uma multidão de homens peccadores, vos levantastes em logar de vossos paes, para ainda mais accrescentar o furor da ira do Senhor contra Israel.
And Moyses seide, Lo! ye encressyngis, and nurreis, `ether nurschid children, of synful men, han ryse for youre fadris, that ye schulden encreesse the strong veniaunce of the Lord ayens Israel.
15 Se vós vos virardes de seguil-o, tambem elle os deixará de novo no deserto, e destruireis a todo este povo.
That if ye nylen sue the Lord, in `the wildirnesse he schal forsake the puple, and ye schulen be cause of the deeth of alle men.
16 Então chegaram-se a elle, e disseram: Edificaremos curraes aqui para o nosso gado, e cidades para as nossas crianças;
And thei neiyiden nyy, and seiden, We schulen make foldis of scheep, and the stablis of beestis, and we schulen make strengthid citees to oure litle children.
17 Porém nós nos armaremos, apressando-nos diante dos d'Israel, até que os levemos ao seu logar: e ficarão as nossas crianças nas cidades fortes por causa dos moradores da terra.
Forsothe we vs silf schulen be armed `to defence, and schulen be gird `with armeris to asailyng, and schulen go to batel bifor the sones of Israel, til we bryngen hem in to her places; oure litle children and what euer thing we moun haue, schulen be in strengthid cytees, for the tresouns of the dwelleris.
18 Não voltaremos para nossas casas, até que os filhos d'Israel estejam de posse cada um da sua herança.
We schulen not turne ayen in to oure housis, til the sones of Israel welden her eritage;
19 Porque não herdaremos com elles d'além do Jordão, nem mais adiante; porquanto nós já teremos a nossa herança d'áquem do Jordão ao oriente
and we schulen not axe ony thing ouer Jordan, for we han now oure possessioun in the eest coost therof.
20 Então Moysés lhes disse: Se isto fizerdes assim, se vos armardes á guerra perante o Senhor;
To whiche Moises seide, If ye doen that, that ye biheten, be ye maad redi, and go ye to batel bifor the Lord;
21 E cada um de vós, armado, passar o Jordão perante o Senhor, até que haja lançado fóra os seus inimigos de diante d'elle;
and ech man fiytere be armed, and passe Jordan, til the Lord distrye hise enemyes,
22 E a terra esteja subjugada perante o Senhor; então voltareis depois, e ficareis desculpados perante o Senhor e perante Israel: e esta terra vos será por possessão perante o Senhor:
and al the lond be maad suget to hym; thanne ye schulen be giltles anentis God, and anentis Israel, and ye schulen holde the cuntreys, whiche ye wolen, bifor the Lord.
23 E se não fizerdes assim, eisque peccastes contra o Senhor: porém sentireis o vosso peccado, quando vos achar.
But if ye doon not that, that ye seien, it is not doute to ony man, that ne ye synnen ayens God; and wite ye, that youre synne schal take you.
24 Edificae vós cidades para as vossas crianças, e curraes para as vossas ovelhas; e fazei o que saiu da vossa bocca.
Therfor bilde ye citees to youre litle children, and foldis and stablis to scheep, and to beestis; and fille ye that, that ye bihiyten.
25 Então fallaram os filhos de Gad, e os filhos de Ruben a Moysés, dizendo: Como ordena meu senhor, assim farão teus servos.
And the sones of Gad and of Ruben seiden to Moises, We ben thi seruauntis; we schulen do that, that oure lord comaundith.
26 As nossas crianças, as nossas mulheres, a nossa fazenda, e todos os nossos animaes estarão ahi nas cidades de Gilead.
We schulen leeue oure litle children, and wymmen, and scheep, and beestis in the citees of Galaad;
27 Mas os teus servos passarão, cada um armado para pelejar para a guerra, perante o Senhor, como tem dito meu senhor.
forsothe alle we thi seruauntis schulen go redi to batel, as thou, lord, spekist.
28 Então Moysés deu ordem ácêrca d'elles a Eleazar, o sacerdote, e a Josué filho de Nun, e aos Cabeças das casas dos paes das tribus dos filhos d'Israel;
Therfor Moyses comaundide to Eleazar, preest, and to Josue, the sone of Nun, and to the princes of meynees, bi the lynagis of Israel, and seide to hem,
29 E disse-lhes Moysés: Se os filhos de Gad, e os filhos de Ruben passarem comvosco o Jordão, armado cada um para a guerra perante o Senhor; e a terra estiver subjugada diante de vós, em possessão lhes dareis a terra de Gilead;
If the sones of Gad, and the sones of Ruben goen alle armed with you, to batel bifor the Lord, and the lond be maad suget to you, yyue ye to hem Galaad in to possessioun;
30 Porém se não passarem, armados, comvosco, então se porão por possuidores no meio de vós na terra de Canaan.
but if thei nylen passe with you in to the lond of Chanaan, take thei places to dwelle among you.
31 E responderam os filhos de Gad e os filhos de Ruben, dizendo: O que o Senhor fallou a teus servos, isso faremos.
And the sones of Gad and the sones of Ruben answeriden, As the Lord spak to hise seruauntis, so we schulen do;
32 Nós passaremos, armados, perante o Senhor á terra de Canaan, e teremos a possessão de nossa herança d'áquem do Jordão.
we schulen go armed bifor the Lord, in to the lond of Chanaan, and we knowlechen, that we han take now possessioun ouer Jordan.
33 Assim deu-lhes Moysés, aos filhos de Gad, e aos filhos de Ruben, e á meia tribu de Manasseh, filho de José, o reino de Sehon, rei dos amorrheos, e o reino d'Og, rei de Basan: a terra com as suas cidades nos seus termos, as cidades do seu contorno.
And so Moises yaf to the sones of Gad and of Ruben, and to half the lynage of Manasses, sone of Joseph, the rewme of Seon, kyng of Ammorey, and the rewme of Og, kyng of Basan, and `the lond of hem, with her citees, bi cumpas.
34 E os filhos de Gad edificaram a Dibon, e Ataroth, e Aroer;
Therfor the sones of Gad bildiden Dibon, and Astaroth, and Aroer,
35 E Atroth-sophan, e Jaezer, e Jogbeha;
and Roth-Sophan, and Jazer, and Jebaa,
36 E Beth-nimra, e Bethharan, cidades fortes; e curraes d'ovelhas.
and Beeth-Nemra, and Betharan, strengid citees; and foldis to her beestis.
37 E os filhos de Ruben edificaram a Hesbon, e Eleal, as e Quiriathaim;
Forsothe the sones of Ruben bildiden Esebon, and Eleale, and Cariathiarym, and Nabo,
38 E Nebo, e Baal-meon, mudando-lhes o nome, e Sibma: e os nomes das cidades que edificaram chamaram por outros nomes.
and Balmeon, whanne the names weren turned, and thei bildiden Sabama; and puttiden names to the citees, whiche thei hadden bildid.
39 E os filhos de Machir, filho de Manasseh, foram-se para Gilead, e a tomaram: e d'aquella possessão lançaram os amorrheos, que estavam n'ella.
Forsothe the sones of Machir, sone of Manasses, yeden in to Galaad, and distrieden it, and killiden Ammorei, enhabitere therof.
40 Assim Moysés deu Gilead a Machir, filho de Manasseh, o qual habitou n'ella.
Therfor Moises yaf the lond of Galaad to Machir, sone of Manasses, which Machir dwellide ther ynne.
41 E foi-se Jair, filho de Manasseh, e tomou as suas aldeias; e chamou-as Havot-jair.
Forsothe Jair, the sone of Manasses, yede, and occupiede the townes therof, whiche he clepide Anochiair, that is, the townes of Jair.
42 E foi-se Nobah, e tomou a Quenath com as suas aldeias; e chamou-a Nobah, segundo o seu nome.
Also Nobe yede, and took Canath, with hise townes, and clepide it, bi his name, Nobe.
