Neemias 7
1 Succedeu mais que, depois que o muro fôra edificado, eu levantei as portas; e foram estabelecidos os porteiros, e os cantores, e os levitas.
And it came to pass, when the wall was built, that I set up the doors; and then were appointed the gatekeepers and the singers and the [other] Levites [to their office].
2 Eu nomeei a Hanani, meu irmão, e a Hananias, maioral da fortaleza em Jerusalem: porque era como homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais do que muitos.
And I gave my brother Chanani, and Chananyah the commander of the fortress, charge over Jerusalem; for he was esteemed a faithful man, and one that feared God these many days.
3 E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalem até que o sol aqueça, e emquanto os que assistirem ali fechem as portas, e vós trancae-as: e ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalem, cada um na sua guarda, e cada um diante da sua casa.
And I said unto them, The gates of Jerusalem must not be opened until the sun be hot; and while ye stand by, let them shut the doors, and do ye bar them; and station watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite to his house.
4 E era a cidade larga d'espaço, e grande, porém pouco povo havia dentro d'ella: e ainda as casas não estavam edificadas.
But the city was roomy in space and large: while the people therein were few, and the houses were not yet built.
5 Então o meu Deus me poz no coração que ajuntasse os nobres, e os magistrados, e o povo, para registrar as genealogias: e achei o livro da genealogia dos que subiram primeiro e assim achei escripto n'elle:
Then did my God put it into my heart, and I assembled together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might give in their genealogy; and I found a register of the genealogy of those who were come up at the first, and I found written therein:
6 Estes são os filhos da provincia, que subiram do captiveiro dos transportados, que transportara Nabucodonosor, rei de Babylonia; e voltaram para Jerusalem e para Judah, cada um para a sua cidade.
These arc the children of the province, that came up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried into exile, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his own city;
7 Os quaes vieram com Zorobabel, Jesué, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardiques, Bilsan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, e Baana: este é o numero dos homens do povo d'Israel.
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua', Nehemiah, 'Azaryah, Ra'amyah, Nachamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspereth, Bigvai, Nechum, Ba'anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:
8 Foram os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
The children of Par'osh, two thousand one hundred and seventy and two.
9 Os filhos de Sephatias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.
10 Os filhos d'Arah, seiscentos e cincoenta e dois.
The children of Arach, six hundred fifty and two.
11 Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesué e de Joab, dois mil, oitocentos e dezoito.
The children of Pachath-moab, of the children of Jeshua' and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 Os filhos d'Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoenta e quatro.
The children of 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
13 Os filhos de Zatthu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.
The children of Zatthu, eight hundred forty and five.
14 Os filhos de Zaccai, setecentos e sessenta.
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Os filhos de Binnui, seiscentos e quarenta e oito.
The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.
16 Os filhos de Babai, seiscentos e vinte e oito.
The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.
17 Os filhos d'Azgad, dois mil, trezentos e vinte e dois.
The children of 'Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.
18 Os filhos d'Adonikam, seiscentos e sessenta e sete.
The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and seven.
19 Os filhos de Bigvai, dois mil e sessenta e sete.

20 Os filhos d'Adin, seiscentos e cincoenta e cinco.
The children of 'Adin, six hundred fifty and five.
21 Os filhos d'Ater, d'Hizkia, noventa e oito.

30 Os homens de Rama e Gaba, seiscentos e vinte e um.
The men of Ramah and Gaba', six hundred twenty and one,
31 Os homens de Michmas, cento e vinte e dois.
The men of Michmass, one hundred twenty and two.
32 Os homens de Beth-el e Ai, cento e vinte e tres.
The men of Beth-el and 'Ai, one hundred twenty and three.
33 Os homens d'outra Nebo, cincoenta e dois.
The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.
34 Os filhos d'outro Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoenta e quatro.

The priests: the children of Jeda'yah, of the house of Jeshua', nine hundred seventy and three.
40 Os filhos d'Immer, mil e cincoenta e dois.
The children of Immer, one thousand fifty and two.
41 Os filhos de Pashur, mil, duzentos e quarenta e sete.
The children of Pashchur, one thousand two hundred forty and seven.
42 Os filhos d'Harim, mil e dezesete.
The children of Charim, one thousand and seventeen.
43 Os levitas: Os filhos de Jesué, de Kadmiel, dos filhos d'Hodeva, setenta e quatro.

44 Os cantores: os filhos d'Asaph, cento e quarenta e oito.
The singers: The children of Assaph, one hundred forty and eight.
45 Os porteiros: os filhos de Sallum, os filhos d'Ater, os filhos de Talmon, os filhos d'Hacub, os filhos d'Hattita, os filhos de Sobai, cento e trinta e oito.
The gatekeepers: The children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of 'Akkub, the children of Chatita, the children of Shobai, one hundred thirty and eight.
46 Os nethineos: os filhos de Ziha, os filhos d'Hasupha, os filhos de Tabbaoth,
The temple-servants: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba'oth,
47 Os filhos de Keros, os filhos de Sia, os filhos de Padon,
The children of Keross, the children of Si'a, the children of Padon,
48 Os filhos de Lebana, os filhos d'Hagaba, os filhos de Salmai,
The children of Lebana, the children of Chagaba, the children of Salmai,
49 Os filhos d'Hanan, os filhos de Giddel, os filhos de Gahar,
The children of Chanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gachar,
50 Os filhos de Reaias, os filhos de Resin, os filhos de Nekoda,
The children of Reayah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda.
51 Os filhos de Gazam, os filhos d'Uza, os filhos de Paseah,
The children of Gazzam, the children of 'Uzza, the children of Passeach.
52 Os filhos de Besai, os filhos de Meunim, os filhos de Nephussim,
The children of Bessai, the children of Me'unim, the children of Nephishessim,
53 Os filhos de Bakbuk, os filhos d'Hakupha, os filhos d'Harhur,
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Chakupha, the children of Charchur.
54 Os filhos de Baslith, os filhos de Mehida, os filhos d'Harsa,
The children of Bazlith, the children of Mechida, the children of Charsha,
55 Os filhos de Barkos, os filhos de Sisera, os filhos de Tamah,
The children of Barkoss, the children of Sissera, the children of Thamach,
56 Os filhos de Nesiag, os filhos d'Hatipha.
The children of Neziach, the children of Chatipha.
57 Os filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Sophereth, os filhos de Perida,
The children of Solomon's servants: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 Os filhos de Jaela, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
The children of Ya'ala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos d'Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-zebaim, os filhos de Amon.
The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebayim, the children of Amon.
60 Todos os nethineos e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon' servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
61 Tambem estes subiram de Thel-melah, e Thel-harsa, Cherub, Addon, Immer: porém não poderam mostrar a casa de seus paes e a sua linhagem, se eram d'Israel.
And these were they who came up from Thel-melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not tell their family division and their descent, whether they were of Israel.
62 Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
The children of Delayah, the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
63 E dos sacerdotes: os filhos d'Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomara uma mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e se chamou do nome d'ellas.
And of the priests: The children of Chobayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil'adite, and was called after their name.
64 Estes buscaram o seu registro, querendo contar a sua geração, porém não se achou: pelo que, como immundos, foram excluidos do sacerdocio.
These sought for their family register, but it was not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
65 E o tirsatha lhes disse, que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que se apresentasse o sacerdote com Urim e Thummim.
And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
66 Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil, trezentos e sessenta,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty:
67 Afóra os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
Besides these were their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five singing men and singing women.
68 Os seus cavallos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco.
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
69 Camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
[Their] camels, four hundred thirty and five: [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70 E uma parte dos cabeças dos paes deram para a obra: o tirsatha deu para o thesouro, em oiro, mil drachmas, cincoenta bacias, e quinhentas e trinta vestes sacerdotaes.
And a portion of the chiefs of the divisions gave unto the work. The Thirshatha gave to the treasure, of gold one thousand drachms, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty coats for the priests.
71 E alguns mais dos cabeças dos paes deram para o thesouro da obra, em oiro, vinte mil drachmas: e em prata, duas mil e duzentas libras.
And some of the chiefs of the divisions gave to the treasury of the work, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand and two hundred manehs.
72 E o que deu o resto do povo, foi, em oiro, vinte mil drachmas: e em prata duas mil libras: e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotaes.
And what the rest of the people gave was, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand manehs, and priests coats sixty and seven.
73 E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os porteiros, e os cantores, e alguns do povo, e os nethineos, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the temple-servants, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities: and so came round the seventh month, while the children of Israel were in their cities.
