Neemias 12
1 Estes são sacerdotes e levitas que subiram com Zorobabel, filho de Sealthiel, e com Jesué: Seraias, Jeremias, Esdras,
And these [are] the priests and the Levites who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 Amarias, Malluch, Hattus,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Sechanias, Rehun, Meremoth,
Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abias,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 Miamin, Maadias, Bilga,
Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Semaias, e Joiarib, Jedaias,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkias, Jedaias: estes foram os chefes dos sacerdotes e de seus irmãos, nos dias de Jesué.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah; these [are] heads of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua.
8 E foram os levitas: Jesué, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebias, Judah, Matthanias: este e seus irmãos presidiam sobre os louvores.
And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, he [is] over the thanksgiving, and his brothers,
9 E Bakbukias e Uni, seus irmãos, defronte d'elle, nas guardas.
and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brothers, [are] opposite them in charges.
10 E Jesué gerou a Joaquim, e Joaquim gerou a Eliasib, e Eliasib gerou a Joiada,
And Jeshua has begotten Joiakim, and Joiakim has begotten Eliashib, and Eliashib has begotten Joiada,
11 E Joiada gerou a Jonathan, e Jonathan gerou a Jaddua.
and Joiada has begotten Jonathan, and Jonathan has begotten Jaddua.
12 E nos dias de Joaquim foram sacerdotes, cabeças dos paes: de Seraias, Meraias; de Jeremias, Hananias;
And in the days of Joiakim have been priests, heads of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 D'Esdras, Messullam; de Amarias, Johanan;
of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 De Melichu, Jonathan; de Sebanias, José;
of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 D'Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helkai;
of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 D'Iddo, Zacharias; de Ginnethon, Messullam;
of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 D'Abias, Zichri; de Miamin e de Moadias, Piltai;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin; of Moadiah, Piltai;
18 De Bilga, Sammua; de Semaias, Jonathan;

21 D'Hilkias, Hasabias; de Jedaias, Nethanael.
of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 Dos levitas foram nos dias d'Eliasib escriptos como cabeças de paes, Joiada, e Johnan, e Jaddua; como tambem os sacerdotes, até ao reinado de Dario o persa.
The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, are written, heads of fathers, and of the priests, in the kingdom of Darius the Persian.
23 Os filhos de Levi escriptos como cabeças de paes no livro das chronicas, até aos dias de Johanan, filho d'Eliasib.
Sons of Levi, heads of the fathers, are written on the scroll of the Chronicles even until the days of Johanan son of Eliashib;
24 Foram pois os cabeças dos levitas; Hasabias, Serabias, e Jesué, filho de Kadmiel, e seus irmãos defronte d'elles, para louvarem e darem graças, segundo o mandado de David, homem de Deus: guarda contra guarda.
and heads of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, and their brothers, [are] opposite them, to give praise, to give thanks, by command of David the man of God, charge close by charge.
25 Matthanias, e Bakbukias, Obadias, Mesullam, Talmon, e Akkub, eram porteiros, que faziam a guarda ás thesourarias das portas.
Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, [are] gatekeepers, keeping watch in the gatherings of the gates.
26 Estes foram nos dias de Joaquim, filho de Jesué, o filho de Josadak; como tambem nos dias de Nehemias, o governador, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.
These [are] in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 E na dedicação dos muros de Jerusalem buscaram os levitas de todos os seus logares, para os trazerem, afim de fazerem a dedicação com alegrias, e com louvores, e com canto, psalterios, alaudes, e com harpas.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to make the dedication even with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps;
28 E assim ajuntaram os filhos dos cantores, tanto da campina dos arredores de Jerusalem, como das aldeias de Netophati;
and sons of the singers are gathered together even from the circuit around Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
29 Como tambem da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Gibeah, e Azmaveth: porque os cantores se edificaram aldeias nos arredores de Jerusalem.
and from the house of Gilgal, and from fields of Geba and Azmaveth, the singers have built for villages for themselves around Jerusalem;
30 E purificaram-se os sacerdotes e os levitas; e logo purificaram o povo, e as portas, e o muro.
and the priests and the Levites are cleansed, and they cleanse the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Então fiz subir os principes de Judah sobre o muro, e ordenei dois grandes coros e procissões, um á mão direita sobre o muro da banda da porta do monturo.
And I bring up the heads of Judah on the wall, and appoint two great thanksgiving companies and processions. At the right, on the wall, to the Refuse Gate;
32 E após elles ia Hosaias, e a metade dos principes de Judah,
and after them goes Hoshaiah, and half of the heads of Judah,
33 E Azarias, Esdras, e Mesullam,
and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Judah, e Benjamin, e Semaias, e Jeremias.
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
35 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes, com trombetas: Zacharias, filho de Jonathan, o filho de Semaias, filho de Matthanias, filho de Michaias, filho de Zacchur, filho d'Asaph,
and of the sons of the priests with trumpets, Zechariah son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Michaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,
36 E seus irmãos, Semaias, e Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanael, e Judah, e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicos de David, homem de Deus; e Esdras o escriba ia adiante d'elles.
and his brothers Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with instruments of song of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe [is] before them;
37 Indo assim para a porta da fonte, e defronte d'elles, subiram as escadas da cidade de David pela subida do muro, desde cima da casa de David, até á porta das aguas, da banda do oriente.
and by the Fountain Gate and in front of them, they have gone up by the steps of the City of David, at the going up of the wall beyond the house of David, and to the Water Gate eastward.
38 E o coro segundo ia defronte, e eu após elle; e a metade do povo ia sobre o muro, desde a torre dos fornos, até á muralha larga;
And the second thanksgiving company that is going opposite, and I after it, and half of the people on the wall from beyond the Tower of the Furnaces and to the broad wall,
39 E desde a porta d'Ephraim, e para a porta velha, e para a porta do peixe, e a torre d'Hananeel, e a torre de Mea, até á porta do gado; e pararam á porta da prisão.
and from beyond the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate, and the Tower of Hananeel, and the Tower of Meah, and to the Sheep Gate—and they have stood at the Prison Gate.
40 Então ambos os coros pararam na casa de Deus; como tambem eu, e a metade dos magistrados comigo.
And the two thanksgiving companies stand in the house of God, and I and half of the prefects with me,
41 E os sacerdotes Eliakim, Maaseias, Miniamin, Michaias, Elioenai, Zacharias, e Hananias, com trombetas,
and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
42 Como tambem, Maaseias, e Semaias, e Eleazar, e Uzzi, e Johanan, e Malchias, e Elam, e Ezer; e faziam-se ouvir os cantores, juntamente com Jezrahias, o superintendente.
and Masseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer, and the singers sound, and Jezrahiah the inspector;
43 E sacrificaram no mesmo dia grandes sacrificios, e se alegraram; porque Deus os alegrara com grande alegria; e até as mulheres e os meninos se alegraram, que a alegria de Jerusalem se ouviu até de longe.
and they sacrifice on that day great sacrifices and rejoice, for God has made them rejoice [with] great joy, and also, the women and the children have rejoiced, and the joy of Jerusalem is heard—to a distance.
44 Tambem no mesmo dia se nomearam homens sobre as camaras, para os thesouros, para as offertas alçadas, para as primicias, e para os dizimos, para ajuntarem n'ellas, das terras das cidades, as partes da lei para os sacerdotes e para os levitas; porque Judah estava alegre por causa dos sacerdotes e dos levitas que assistiam ali.
And certain are appointed on that day over the chambers for treasures, for raised-offerings, for first-fruits, and for tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for priests, and for Levites, for the joy of Judah [is] over the priests, and over the Levites, who are standing up.
45 E faziam a guarda do seu Deus, e a guarda da purificação; como tambem os cantores e porteiros, conforme ao mandado de David e de seu filho Salomão.
And the singers and the gatekeepers keep the charge of their God, even the charge of the cleansing—according to the command of David [and] his son Solomon,
46 Porque já nos dias de David e Asaph, desde a antiguidade, havia cabeças dos cantores, e dos canticos de louvores, e d'acção de graças a Deus
for in the days of David and Asaph of old [were] heads of the singers, and a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.
47 Pelo que todo o Israel, já nos dias de Zorobabel, nos dias de Nehemias, dava as partes dos cantores e dos porteiros a cada um no seu dia; e sanctificavam as porções aos levitas, e os levitas sanctificavam aos filhos d'Aarão.
And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, are giving the portions of the singers, and of the gatekeepers, the matter of a day in its day, and are sanctifying to the Levites, and the Levites are sanctifying to the sons of Aaron.
