Mateus 28
1 E, no fim do sabbado, quando já começava a despontar para o primeiro dia da semana, Maria Magdalena e a outra Maria foram vêr o sepulchro;
NOW after the eve of the sabbath, as the light was dawning, towards the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen had come, and the other Mary, to view the sepulchre.
2 E eis que houvera um grande terremoto, porque o anjo do Senhor, descendo do céu, chegou, e revolveu a pedra da porta, e estava assentado sobre ella.
And, lo! there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 E o seu aspecto era como um relampago, e o seu vestido branco como neve.
His aspect was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 E os guardas, com medo d'elle, ficaram muito assombrados, e tornaram-se como mortos.
And for fear of him the guards shook, and became as dead men.
5 Mas o anjo, fallando, disse ás mulheres: Vós não tenhaes medo; pois eu sei que buscaes a Jesus, que foi crucificado.
Then the angel addressing them, said to the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye are seeking Jesus who was crucified.
6 Não está aqui, porque já resuscitou, como havia dito. Vinde, vêde o logar onde o Senhor jazia.
He is not here: he is risen, as he said. Come hither, behold the place where the Lord lay.
7 E ide immediatamente, e dizei aos seus discipulos que já resuscitou dos mortos. E eis que elle vae adiante de vós para a Galilea; ali o vereis. Eis que eu vol-o tenho dito.
And go quickly, tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead: and, lo! he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 E, saindo ellas pressurosamente do sepulchro, com temor e grande alegria, correram a annuncial-o aos seus discipulos;
And they went out quickly from the sepulchre with fear, and great joy; and ran to carry the tidings to his disciples.
9 E, indo ellas annuncial-o aos seus discipulos, eis que Jesus lhes sae ao encontro, dizendo: Eu vos saúdo. E ellas, chegando, abraçaram os seus pés, e o adoraram.
And as they were going to tell the disciples, then behold Jesus met them saying, Hail! And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Então Jesus disse-lhes: Não temaes; ide, e annunciae a meus irmãos que vão a Galilea, e lá me verão.
Then saith Jesus to them, Be not affrighted: go, tell my disciples that they go into Galilee, there shall they see me.
11 E, indo ellas, eis que alguns da guarda, chegando á cidade, annunciaram aos principes dos sacerdotes todas as coisas que haviam acontecido.
And as they were going, some of the guards who were come into the city, had told the chief priests all things which had happened.
12 E, congregados elles com os anciãos, e tomando conselho entre si, deram muito dinheiro aos soldados, dizendo:
And being assembled with the elders, and having held a council, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
13 Dizei: Vieram de noite os seus discipulos e, dormindo nós, o furtaram;
saying, Report, that his disciples coming by night stole him away, while you were asleep.
14 E, se isto chegar a ser ouvido pelo presidente, nós o persuadiremos, e vos poremos em segurança.
And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and preserve you harmless.
15 E elles, recebendo o dinheiro, fizeram como estavam instruidos. E foi divulgado este dito entre os judeos, até ao dia d'hoje.
So they took the money, and did as they were instructed. And this account is circulated among the Jews to this day.
16 E os onze discipulos partiram para Galilea, para o monte, que Jesus lhes tinha destinado.
Then the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain, where Jesus had ordered them.
17 E, quando o viram o adoraram; mas alguns duvidaram.
And when they saw him, they worshipped him. Still some doubted.
18 E, chegando-se Jesus, fallou-lhes, dizendo: É-me dado todo o poder no céu e na terra.
Then Jesus approaching, spake to them, saying, All power is given me in heaven and upon earth.
19 Portanto ide, ensinae todas as nações, baptizando-as em nome do Pae, e do Filho e do Espirito Sancto;
Go therefore, make disciples among all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Ensinando-as a guardar todas as coisas que eu vos tenho mandado; e eis que eu estou comvosco todos os dias, até á consummação do mundo. Amen. (aiōn g165)
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo! I am with you at all times even to the end of the world. Amen. (aiōn g165)
