Lucas 20
1 E aconteceu n'um d'aquelles dias que, estando elle ensinando o povo no templo, e annunciando o evangelho, sobrevieram os principaes dos sacerdotes e os escribas com os anciãos,
And it was don in oon of the daies, whanne he tauyte the puple in the temple, and prechide the gospel, the princis of preestis and scribis camen togidere with the elder men;
2 E fallaram-lhe, dizendo: Dize-nos, com que auctoridade fazes estas coisas? Ou, quem é que te deu esta auctoridade?
and thei seiden to hym, Seie to vs, in what power thou doist these thingis, or who is he that yaf to thee this power?
3 E, respondendo elle, disse-lhes: Tambem eu vos farei uma pergunta: dizei-me pois:
And Jhesus answeride, and seide to hem, And Y schal axe you o word; answere ye to me.
4 O baptismo de João era do céu ou dos homens?
Was the baptym of Joon of heuene, or of men?
5 E elles arrazoavam entre si, dizendo: Se dissermos: Do céu, elle nos dirá: Então porque o não crestes?
And thei thouyten with ynne hem silf, seiynge, For if we seien, Of heuene, he schal seie, Whi thanne bileuen ye not to hym?
6 E se dissermos: Dos homens; todo o povo nos apedrejará, pois teem por certo que João era propheta.
and if we seien, Of men, al the puple schal stoone vs; for thei ben certeyn, that Joon is a prophete.
7 E responderam que não sabiam d'onde era.
And thei answeriden, that thei knewen not, of whennus it was.
8 E Jesus lhes disse: Nem tão pouco eu vos digo com que auctoridade faço estas coisas.
And Jhesus seide to hem, Nether Y seie to you, in what power Y do these thingis.
9 E começou a dizer ao povo esta parabola: Um certo homem plantou uma vinha, e arrendou-a a uns lavradores, e partiu para fóra da terra por muito tempo;
And he bigan to seie to the puple this parable. A man plauntide a vynyerd, and hiride it to tilieris; and he was in pilgrimage longe tyme.
10 E a seu tempo mandou um servo aos lavradores, para que lhe déssem dos fructos da vinha; mas os lavradores, espancando-o, mandaram-n'o vazio.
And in the tyme of gaderynge of grapis, he sente a seruaunt to the tilieris, that thei schulden yyue to hym of the fruyt of the vynyerd; whiche beten hym, and leten hym go voide.
11 E tornou ainda a mandar outro servo; mas elles, espancando tambem a este, e affrontando-o, mandaram-n'o vazio.
And he thouyte yit to sende another seruaunt; and thei beten this, and turmentiden hym sore, and leten hym go.
12 E tornou ainda a mandar terceiro; mas elles, ferindo tambem a este, o expulsaram.
And he thouyte yit to sende the thridde, and hym also thei woundiden, and castiden out.
13 E disse o senhor da vinha: Que farei? Mandarei o meu filho amado; talvez que, vendo-o, o respeitem.
And the lord of the vyneyerd seide, What schal Y do? Y schal sende my dereworthe sone; perauenture, whanne thei seen hym, thei schulen drede.
14 Mas, vendo-o os lavradores, arrazoaram entre si, dizendo: Este é o herdeiro; vinde, matemol-o, para que a herdade seja nossa.
And whanne the tilieris sayn hym, thei thouyten with ynne hem silf, and seiden, This is the eire, sle we hym, that the eritage be oure.
15 E, lançando-o fóra da vinha, o mataram. Que lhes fará pois o senhor da vinha?
And thei castiden hym out of the vyneyerd, and killiden hym. What schal thanne the lord of the vyneyerd do to hem?
16 Irá, e destruirá estes lavradores, e dará a outros a vinha. E, ouvindo elles isto, disseram: Assim não seja!
He schal come, and distruye these tilieris, and yyue the vyneyerd to othere. And whanne this thing was herd, thei seiden to hym, God forbede.
17 Mas elle, olhando para elles, disse: Que é isto pois que está escripto? A pedra, que os edificadores reprovaram, essa foi feita cabeça da esquina.
But he bihelde hem, and seide, What thanne is this that is writun, The stoon which men bildynge repreueden, this is maad in to the heed of the corner?
18 Qualquer que cair sobre aquella pedra será quebrantado, e aquelle sobre quem ella cair será feito em pedaços.
Ech that schal falle on that stoon, schal be to-brisid, but on whom it schal falle, it schal al to-breke him.
19 E os principaes dos sacerdotes e os escribas procuravam lançar mão d'elle n'aquella mesma hora; mas temeram o povo; porque entenderam que contra elles dissera esta parabola.
And the princis of prestis, and scribis, souyten to leye on hym hoondis in that our, and thei dredden the puple; for thei knewen that to hem he seide this liknesse.
20 E, trazendo-o debaixo de olho, mandaram espias, que se fingissem justos, para o apanhar n'alguma palavra, e entregal-o á jurisdicção e poder do presidente.
And thei aspieden, and senten aspieris, that feyneden hem iust, that thei schulden take hym in word, and bitaak hym to the `power of the prince, and to the power of the iustice.
21 E perguntaram-lhe, dizendo: Mestre, nós sabemos que fallas e ensinas bem e rectamente, e que não attentas para a apparencia da pessoa, mas ensinas com verdade o caminho de Deus:
And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Maister, we witen, that riytli thou seist and techist; and thou takist not the persoone of man, but thou techist in treuthe the weie of God.
22 É-nos licito dar tributo a Cesar ou não?
Is it leueful to vs to yyue tribute to the emperoure, or nay?
23 E, entendendo elle a sua astucia, disse-lhes: Porque me tentaes?
And he biheld the disseit of hem, and seide to hem, What tempten ye me?
24 Mostrae-me uma moeda. De quem tem a imagem e a inscripção? E, respondendo elles, disseram: De Cesar.
Shewe ye to me a peny; whos ymage and superscripcioun hath it? Thei answerden, and seiden to hym, The emperouris.
25 Disse-lhes então: Dae pois a Cesar o que é de Cesar, e a Deus o que é de Deus.
And he seide to hem, Yelde ye therfor to the emperoure tho thingis that ben the emperours, and tho thingis that ben of God, to God.
26 E não poderam apanhal-o em palavra alguma diante do povo; e, maravilhados da sua resposta, calaram-se.
And thei myyten not repreue his word bifor the puple; and thei wondriden in his answere, and heelden pees.
27 E, chegando-se alguns dos sadduceos, que dizem não haver resurreição, perguntaram-lhe,
Summe of the Saduceis, that denyeden the ayenrisyng fro deeth to lijf, camen, and axiden hym,
28 Dizendo: Mestre, Moysés escreveu-nos que, se o irmão d'algum fallecer, tendo mulher, e não deixar filhos, o irmão d'elle tome a mulher, e suscite posteridade a seu irmão.
and seiden, Maister, Moises wroot to vs, if the brother of ony man haue a wijf, and be deed, and he was with outen eiris, that his brothir take his wijf, and reise seed to his brother.
29 Houve pois sete irmãos, e o primeiro tomou mulher, e morreu sem filhos;
And so there weren seuene britheren. The firste took a wijf, and is deed with outen eiris;
30 E o segundo tomou-a, e tambem este morreu sem filhos;
and the brothir suynge took hir, and he is deed with outen sone;
31 E o terceiro tomou-a, e egualmente tambem os sete: e morreram, e não deixaram filhos.
and the thridde took hir; also and alle seuene, and leften not seed, but ben deed;
32 E por ultimo, depois de todos, morreu tambem a mulher.
and the laste of alle the womman is deed.
33 Portanto, na resurreição, de qual d'elles será a mulher, pois que os sete a tiveram por mulher?
Therfor in the `risyng ayen, whos wijf of hem schal sche be? for seuene hadden hir to wijf.
34 E, respondendo Jesus, disse-lhes: Os filhos d'este seculo casam-se, e dão-se em casamento; (aiōn g165)
And Jhesus seide to hem, Sones of this world wedden, and ben youun to weddyngis; (aiōn g165)
35 Mas os que forem havidos por dignos de alcançar aquelle seculo, e a resurreição dos mortos, nem hão de casar, nem ser dados em casamento; (aiōn g165)
but thei that schulen be had worthi of that world, and of the `risyng ayen fro deeth, nethir ben wedded, (aiōn g165)
36 Porque não podem mais morrer; pois são eguaes aos anjos, e são filhos de Deus, visto que são filhos da resurreição.
nethir wedden wyues, nethir schulen mowe die more; for thei ben euen with aungels, and ben the sones of God, sithen thei ben the sones of `risyng ayen fro deeth.
37 E que os mortos hão de resuscitar tambem o mostrou Moysés junto da sarça, quando chama ao Senhor Deus de Abrahão, e Deus de Isaac, e Deus de Jacob.
And that deed men risen ayen, also Moises schewide bisidis the busch, as he seith, The Lord God of Abraham, and God of Ysaac, and God of Jacob.
38 Ora Deus não é Deus de mortos, porém de vivos; porque para elle vivem todos.
And God is not of deed men, but of lyuynge men; for alle men lyuen to hym.
39 E, respondendo alguns dos escribas, disseram: Mestre, disseste bem.
And summe of scribis answeringe, seiden, Maistir, thou hast wel seid.
40 E não ousavam perguntar-lhe mais coisa alguma.
And thei dursten no more axe hym ony thing.
41 E elle lhes disse: Como dizem que o Christo é filho de David?
But he seide to hem, How seien men, Crist to be the sone of Dauid,
42 Dizendo o mesmo David no livro dos Psalmos: Disse o Senhor ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te á minha direita,
and Dauid hym silf seith in the book of Salmes, The Lord seide to my lord, Sitte thou on my riythalf,
43 Até que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabello de teus pés.
til that Y putte thin enemyes a stool of thi feet?
44 De sorte que David lhe chama Senhor; e como é seu filho?
Therfor Dauid clepith hym lord, and hou is he his sone?
45 E, ouvindo-o todo o povo, disse Jesus aos seus discipulos:
And in heryng of al the puple, he seide to hise disciplis,
46 Guardae-vos dos escribas, que querem andar com vestidos compridos; e amam as saudações nas praças, e as principaes cadeiras nas synagogas, e os primeiros logares nos banquetes;
Be ye war of scribis, that wolen wandre in stolis, and louen salutaciouns in chepyng, and the firste chaieris in synagogis, and the firste sittynge placis in feestis;
47 Que devoram as casas das viuvas, fazendo, como pretexto, largas orações. Estes receberão maior condemnação.
that deuouren the housis of widewis, and feynen long preiyng; these schulen take the more dampnacioun.
