Levítico 25

1 Fallou mais o Senhor a Moysés no monte de Sinai, dizendo:

And the Lord spoke to Moses in the mount Sina, saying,

2 Falla aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes Quando tiverdes entrado na terra, que eu vos dou, então a terra descançará um sabbado ao Senhor.

Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, Whenever you shall have entered into the land, which I give to you, then the land shall rest which I give to you, for its sabbaths to the Lord.

3 Seis annos semearás a tua terra, e seis annos podarás a tua vinha, e colherás a sua novidade:

Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vine, and gather in its fruit.

4 Porém ao setimo anno haverá sabbado de descanço para a terra, um sabbado ao Senhor: não semearás o teu campo nem podarás a tua vinha

But in the seventh year [shall be] a sabbath, it shall be a rest to the land, a sabbath to the Lord: you shall not sow your field, and you shall not prune your vine.

5 O que nascer de si mesmo da tua sega não segarás, e as uvas da tua separação não vindimarás: anno de descanço será para a terra

And you shall not gather the spontaneous produce of your field, and you shall not gather fully the grapes of your dedication: it shall be a year of rest to the land.

6 E o sabbado da terra vos será por alimento, a ti, e ao teu servo, e á tua serva, e ao teu jornaleiro, e ao estrangeiro que peregrina comtigo;

And the sabbaths of the land shall be food for you, and for your man-servant, and for your maidservant, and your hireling, and the stranger that abides with you.

7 E ao teu gado, e aos teus animaes, que estão na tua terra, toda a sua novidade será por mantimento.

And for your cattle, and for the wild beats that are in your land, shall every fruit of it be for food.

8 Tambem contarás sete semanas d'annos, sete vezes sete annos: de maneira que os dias das sete semanas d'annos te serão quarenta e nove annos.

And you shall reckon to yourself seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; and they shall be to you seven weeks of years, nine and forty years.

9 Então no mez setimo, aos dez do mez, farás passar a trombeta do jubileu: no dia da expiação fareis passar a trombeta por toda a vossa terra.

In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall make a proclamation with the sound of a trumpet in all your land; on the day of atonement you shall make a proclamation with a trumpet in all your land.

10 E sanctificareis o anno quinquagesimo, e apregoareis liberdade na terra a todos os seus moradores: anno de jubileu vos será, e tornareis, cada um á sua possessão, e tornareis, cada um á sua familia.

And you shall sanctify the year, the fifties year, and you shall proclaim a release upon the land to all that inhabit it; it shall be given a year of release, a jubilee for you; and each one shall depart to his possession, and you shall go each to his family.

11 O anno quinquagesimo vos será jubileu: não semearás nem segarás o que n'elle nascer de si mesmo, nem n'elle vindimareis as uvas das separações,

This is a jubilee of release, the year shall be to you the fifties year: you shall not sow, nor reap the produce that comes of itself from the land, neither shall you gather its dedicated fruits.

12 Porque jubileu é, sancto será para vós: a novidade do campo comereis.

For it is a jubilee of release; it shall be holy to you, you shall eat its fruits off the fields.

13 N'este anno do jubileu tornareis cada um á sua possessão.

In the year of the release [even] the jubilee of it, shall [each] one return to his possession.

14 E quando venderdes alguma coisa ao vosso proximo, ou a comprardes da mão do vosso proximo, ninguem opprima a seu irmão:

And if you should sell a possession to your neighbour, or if you should buy of your neighbour, let not a man oppress his neighbour.

15 Conforme ao numero dos annos desde o jubileu, comprarás ao teu proximo; e conforme ao numero dos annos das novidades, elle a venderá a ti.

According to the number of years after the jubilee shall you buy of your neighbour, according to the number of years of the fruits shall he sell to you.

16 Conforme á multidão dos annos, augmentarás o seu preço, e conforme á diminuição dos annos abaixarás o seu preço; porque conforme ao numero das novidades é que elle te vende.

According as [there may be] a greater number of years he shall increase [the value of] his possession, and according as [there may be] a less number of years he shall lessen [the value of] his possession; for according to the number of his crops, so shall he sell to you.

17 Ninguem pois opprima ao seu proximo; mas terás temor do teu Deus: porque Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

Let not a man oppress his neighbour, and you shall fear the Lord your God: I am the Lord your God.

18 E fazei os meus estatutos, e guardae os meus juizos, e fazei-os: assim habitareis seguros na terra.

And you shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgements; and do you observe them, and you shall keep them, and dwell securely in the land.

19 E a terra dará o seu fructo, e comereis a fartar, e n'ella habitareis seguros.

And the land shall yield her increase, and you shall eat to fullness, and shall dwell securely in it.

20 E se disserdes: Que comeremos no anno setimo? eis que não havemos de semear nem colher a nossa novidade;

And if you should say, What shall we eat in this seventh year, if we do not sow nor gather in our fruits?

21 Então eu mandarei a minha benção sobre vós no sexto anno, para que dê fructo por tres annos.

Then will I send my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and the land shall produce its fruits for three years.

22 E no oitavo anno semeareis, e comereis da novidade velha até ao anno nono: até que venha a sua novidade, comereis a velha.

And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old fruits till the ninth year: until its fruit come, you shall eat old fruits of the old.

23 Tambem a terra não se venderá em perpetuidade, porque a terra é minha: pois vós sois estrangeiros e peregrinos comigo.

And the land shall not be sold for a permanence; for the land is mine, because you are strangers and sojourners before me.

24 Portanto em toda a terra da vossa possessão dareis resgate á terra.

And in every land of your possession, you shall allow ransoms for the land.

25 Quando teu irmão empobrecer e vender alguma porção da sua possessão, então virá o seu resgatador, seu parente, e resgatará o que vendeu seu irmão.

And if your brother who is with you be poor, and should have sold [part] of his possession, and his kinsman who is near to him come, then he shall redeem the possession which his brother has sold.

26 E se alguem não tiver resgatador, porém a sua mão alcançar e achar o que basta para o seu resgate,

And if one have no near kinsman, and he prosper with his hand, and he find sufficient money, [even] his ransom;

27 Então contará os annos desde a sua venda, e o que ficar restituirá ao homem a quem o vendeu, e tornará á sua possessão.

then shall he calculate the years of his sale, and he shall give what is due to the man to whom he sold it, and he shall return to his possession.

28 Mas, se a sua mão não alcançar o que basta para restituir-lh'a, então a que fôr vendida ficará na mão do comprador até ao anno do jubileu: porém no anno do jubileu sairá, e elle tornará á sua possessão.

But if his hand have not prospered sufficiently, so as that he should restore the money to him, then he that bought the possessions shall have them till the sixth year of the release; and it shall go out in the release, and the owner shall return to his possession.

29 E, quando algum vender uma casa de moradia em cidade murada, então a pode resgatar até que se cumpra o anno da sua venda; durante um anno inteiro será licito o seu resgate.

And if any one should sell an inhabited house in a walled city, then there shall be the ransom of it, until [the time] is fulfilled: its time of ransom shall be a full year.

30 Mas, se, cumprindo-se-lhe um anno inteiro, ainda não fôr resgatada, então a casa, que estiver na cidade que tem muro, em perpetuidade ficará ao que a comprou, pelas suas gerações: não sairá no jubileu

And if it be not ransomed until there be completed of its time a full year, the house which is in the walled city shall be surely confirmed to him that bought it, throughout his generations; and it shall not go out in the release.

31 Mas as casas das aldeias que não teem muro em roda serão estimadas como o campo da terra: para ellas haverá resgate, e sairão no jubileu.

But the houses in the villages which have not a wall round about them, shall be reckoned as the fields of the country: they shall always be redeemable, and they shall go out in the release.

32 Mas, tocante ás cidades dos levitas, ás casas das cidades da sua possessão, direito perpetuo de resgate terão os levitas.

And the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities in their possession, shall be always redeemable to the Levites.

33 E, havendo feito resgate um dos levitas, então a compra da casa e da cidade da sua possessão sairá no jubileu: porque as casas das cidades dos levitas são a sua possessão no meio dos filhos de Israel.

And if any one shall redeem a house of the Levites, then shall their sale of the houses of their possession go out in the release; because the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession in the midst of the children of Israel.

34 Mas o campo do arrabalde das suas cidades não se venderá, porque lhes é possessão perpetua.

And the lands set apart for their cities shall not be sold, because this is their perpetual possession.

35 E, quando teu irmão empobrecer, e as suas forças decairem, então sustental-o-has, como estrangeiro e peregrino, para que viva comtigo.

And if your brother who is with you become poor, and he fail in resources with you, you shall help him as a stranger and a sojourner, and your brother shall live with you.

36 Não tomarás d'elle usura nem ganho; mas do teu Deus terás temor, para que teu irmão viva comtigo.

You shall not receive from him interest, nor increase: and you shall fear your God: I [am] the Lord: and your brother shall live with you.

37 Não lhe darás teu dinheiro com usura, nem darás o teu manjar por interesse.

You shall not lend your money to him at interest, and you shall not lend your meat to him to be returned with increase.

38 Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei da terra do Egypto, para vos dar a terra de Canaan, para ser vosso Deus.

I [am] the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Chanaan, so as to be your God.

39 Quando tambem teu irmão empobrecer, estando elle comtigo, e se vender a ti, não o farás servir serviço de escravo.

And if your brother by you be lowered, and be sold to you, he shall not serve you with the servitude of a slave.

40 Como jornaleiro, como peregrino estará comtigo; até ao anno do jubileu te servirá:

He shall be with you as a hireling or a sojourner, he shall work for you till the year of release:

41 Então sairá do teu serviço, elle e seus filhos com elle, e tornará á sua familia, e á possessão de seus paes tornará.

and he shall go out in the release, and his children with him; and he shall go to his family, he shall hasten back to his patrimony.

42 Porque são meus servos, que tirei da terra do Egypto: não serão vendidos como se vendem os escravos.

Because these are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; such an one shall not be sold as a [common] servant.

43 Não te assenhorearás d'elle com rigor, mas do teu Deus terás temor.

You shall not oppress him with labour, and shall fear the Lord your God.

44 E quanto a teu escravo ou a tua escrava que tiveres, serão das gentes que estão ao redor de vós; d'elles comprareis escravos e escravas.

And whatever number of menservants and maidservants you shall have, you shall purchase male and female servants from the nations that are round about you.

45 Tambem os comprareis dos filhos dos forasteiros que peregrinam entre vós, d'elles e das suas gerações que estiverem comvosco, que tiverem gerado na vossa terra; e vos serão por possessão.

And of the sons of the sojourners that are amongst you, of these you shall buy and of their relations, all that shall be in your lands; let them be to you for a possession.

46 E possuil-os-heis por herança para vossos filhos depois de vós, para herdarem a possessão; perpetuamente os fareis servir: mas sobre vossos irmãos, os filhos de Israel, cada um sobre seu irmão, não vos assenhoreareis d'elle com rigor

And you shall distribute them to your children after you, and they shall be to you permanent possessions for ever: but of your brethren the children of Israel, one shall not oppress his brother in labours.

47 E quando a mão do estrangeiro e peregrino que está comtigo alcançar riqueza, e teu irmão, que está com elle, empobrecer, e se vender ao estrangeiro ou peregrino que está comtigo, ou á raça da linhagem do estrangeiro.

And if a stranger or sojourner with you wax rich, and your brother in distress be sold to the stranger or the sojourner that is with you, or to a proselyte by extraction;

48 Depois que se houver vendido, haverá resgate para elle: um de seus irmãos o resgatará;

after he is sold to him there shall be redemption for him, one of his brethren shall redeem him.

49 Ou seu tio, ou o filho de seu tio o resgatará; ou um dos seus parentes, da sua familia, o resgatará; ou, se a sua mão alcançar riqueza, se resgatará a si mesmo.

A brother of his father, or a son of his father's brother shall redeem him; or let one of his near kin of his tribe redeem him, and if he should be rich and redeem himself,

50 E contará com aquelle que o comprou, desde o anno que se vendeu a elle até ao anno do jubileu, e o dinheiro da sua venda será conforme ao numero dos annos: conforme aos dias de um jornaleiro estará com elle.

then shall he calculate with his purchaser from the year that he sold himself to him until the year of release: and the money of his purchase shall be as that of a hireling, he shall be with him from year to year.

51 Se ainda muitos annos faltarem, conforme a elles restituirá o seu resgate do dinheiro pelo qual foi vendido,

And if any have a greater number of years [than enough], according to these he shall pay his ransom out of his purchase-money.

52 E se ainda restarem poucos annos até ao anno do jubileu, então fará contas com elle: segundo os seus annos restituirá o seu resgate.

And if but a little time be left of the years to the year of release, then shall he reckon to him according to his years, and shall pay his ransom

53 Como jornaleiro, de anno em anno, estará com elle: não se assenhoreará sobre elle com rigor diante dos teus olhos.

as a hireling; he shall be with him from year to year; you shall not oppress him with labour before you.

54 E, se d'esta sorte se não resgatar, sairá no anno do jubileu, elle e seus filhos com elle

And if he do not pay his ransom accordingly, he shall go out in the year of his release, he and his children with him.

55 Porque os filhos de Israel me são servos; meus servos são elles, que tirei da terra do Egypto: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

For the children of Israel are my servants: they are my attendants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt.
