Levítico 18
1 Fallou mais o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 Falla aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, I am Jehovah your God.
3 Não fareis segundo as obras da terra do Egypto, em que habitastes, nem fareis segundo as obras da terra de Canaan, na qual eu vos metto, nem andareis nos seus estatutos.
Ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Egypt, in which ye dwelt, and ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, nor shall ye walk in their statutes.
4 Fareis conforme aos meus juizos, e os meus estatutos guardareis, para andardes n'elles: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus,
Ye shall do my ordinances, and ye shall keep my statutes, to walk therein. I am Jehovah your God.
5 Portanto os meus estatutos e os meus juizos guardareis; os quaes, fazendo o homem, viverá por elles: Eu sou o Senhor.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Jehovah.
6 Nenhum homem se chegará a qualquer parenta da sua carne, para descobrir a sua nudez: Eu sou o Senhor.
None of you shall approach to any who are near of kin to him, to uncover nakedness. I am Jehovah.
7 Não descobrirás a nudez de tua mãe: ella é tua mãe; não descobrirás a sua nudez.
The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, thou shall not uncover. She is thy mother. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness,
8 Não descobrirás a nudez da mulher de teu pae.
the nakedness of thy father's wife. It is thy father's nakedness.
9 A nudez de tua irmã, filha de teu pae, ou filha de tua mãe, nascida em casa, ou fóra da casa, a sua nudez não descobrirás.
The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover.
10 A nudez da filha do teu filho, ou da filha de tua filha, a sua nudez não descobrirás: porque ella é tua nudez.
The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover, for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 A nudez da filha da mulher de teu pae, gerada de teu pae (ella é tua irmã), a sua nudez não descobrirás.
The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shall not uncover her nakedness.
12 A nudez da irmã de teu pae não descobrirás; ella é parenta de teu pae
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister. She is thy father's near kinswoman.
13 A nudez da irmã de tua mãe não descobrirás; pois ella é parenta de tua mãe.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
14 A nudez do irmão de teu pae não descobrirás; não chegarás á sua mulher; ella é tua tia.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother. Thou shall not approach to his wife. She is thine aunt.
15 A nudez de tua nora não descobrirás: ella é mulher de teu filho: não descobrirás a sua nudez.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law. She is thy son's wife. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness.
16 A nudez da mulher de teu irmão não descobrirás; é a nudez de teu irmão.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife. It is thy brother's nakedness.
17 A nudez d'uma mulher e de sua filha não descobrirás: não tomarás a filha de seu filho, nem a filha de sua filha, para descobrir a sua nudez; parentas são: maldade é.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. Thou shall not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is iniquity.
18 E não tomarás uma mulher com sua irmã, para affligil-a, descobrindo a sua nudez com ella na sua vida.
And thou shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.
19 E não chegarás á mulher durante a separação da sua immundicia, para descobrir a sua nudez,
And thou shall not approach to a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
20 Nem te deitarás com a mulher de teu proximo para copula de semente, para te contaminar com ella.
And thou shall not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 E da tua semente não darás para fazer passar pelo fogo perante Molech; e não profanarás o nome de teu Deus: Eu sou o Senhor.
And thou shall not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall thou profane the name of thy God. I am Jehovah.
22 Com macho te não deitarás, como se fosse mulher: abominação é;
Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind. It is abomination.
23 Nem te deitarás com um animal, para te não contaminar com elle: nem a mulher se porá perante um animal, para ajuntar-se com elle; confusão é.
And thou shall not lie with any beast to defile thyself with it, nor shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down with it. It is a perversion.
24 Com nenhuma d'estas coisas vos contamineis: porque em todas estas coisas se contaminaram as gentes que eu lanço fóra de diante da vossa face.
Do not defile ye yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you,
25 Pelo que a terra está contaminada; e eu visitarei sobre ella a sua iniquidade, e a terra vomitará os seus moradores.
and the land is defiled. Therefore I visit the iniquity of it upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.
26 Porém vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os meus juizos, e nenhuma d'estas abominações fareis, nem o natural, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós
Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourns among you,
27 Porque todas estas abominações fizeram os homens d'esta terra, que n'ella estavam antes de vós; e a terra foi contaminada.
(for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and the land is defiled),
28 Para que a terra vos não vomite, havendo-a contaminado, como vomitou a gente que n'ella estava antes de vós.
that the land not vomit you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
29 Porém, qualquer que fizer alguma d'estas abominações, as almas que as fizeram serão extirpadas do seu povo.
For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Portanto guardareis o meu mandado, não fazendo nenhum dos estatutos abominaveis que se fizeram antes de vós, e não vos contamineis com elles: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
Therefore ye shall keep my charge, that ye not practice any of these abominable customs, which were practiced before you, and that ye not defile yourselves in it. I am Jehovah your God.
