Judas 1
1 Judas, servo de Jesus Christo, e irmão de Thiago, aos chamados, sanctificados pelo Deus Pae, e conservados por Jesus Christo:
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and the brother of James, to those of God's selection who have been made holy by God the Father and are kept safe for Jesus Christ:
2 Misericordia, e paz, e caridade vos sejam multiplicadas.
May mercy and peace and love be increased in you.
3 Amados, procurando eu escrever-vos com toda a diligencia ácerca da salvação commum, tive por necessidade escrever-vos, e exhortar-vos a batalhar pela fé que uma vez foi entregue aos sanctos.
My loved ones, while my thoughts were full of a letter which I was going to send you about our common salvation, it was necessary for me to send you one requesting you with all my heart to go on fighting strongly for the faith which has been given to the saints once and for ever.
4 Porque se introduziram alguns, que já d'antes estavam escriptos para este mesmo juizo, homens impios, que convertem em dissolução a graça de Deus, e negam a Deus, unico dominador e Senhor nosso, Jesus Christo.
For certain men have come among you secretly, marked out before in the holy Writings for this evil fate, men without the fear of God, turning his grace into an unclean thing, and false to our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 Porém quero lembrar-vos, como a quem já uma vez soube isto, que, havendo o Senhor salvo um povo, tirando-o da terra do Egypto, destruiu depois os que não creram;
Now it is my purpose to put you in mind, though you once had knowledge of all these things, of how the Lord, having taken a people safely out of Egypt, later sent destruction on those who had no faith;
6 E aos anjos que não guardaram a sua origem, mas deixaram a sua propria habitação, reservou debaixo da escuridão, e em prisões eternas até ao juizo d'aquelle grande dia; (aïdios g126)
And the angels who did not keep to their kingdom but went out from the place which was theirs, he has put in eternal chains and in dark night till the great day of the judging. (aïdios g126)
7 Como Sodoma e Gomorrah, e as cidades circumvisinhas, que, havendo fornicado como aquelles, e ido após outra carne, foram postas por exemplo, soffrendo a pena do fogo eterno. (aiōnios g166)
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the towns near them, having like these, given themselves up to unclean desires and gone after strange flesh, have been made an example, undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 E comtudo tambem estes, similhantemente adormecidos, contaminam a carne, e rejeitam a dominação, e vituperam as dignidades.
In the same way these dreamers make the flesh unclean, having no respect for authorities, and say evil of rulers.
9 Porém o archanjo Miguel, quando contendia com o diabo, e disputava a respeito do corpo de Moysés, não ousou pronunciar juizo de maldição contra elle; porém disse: O Senhor te reprehenda.
Now when Michael, one of the chief angels, was fighting against the Evil One for the body of Moses, fearing to make use of violent words against him, he only said, May the Lord be your judge.
10 Porém estes dizem mal do que não sabem; e o que naturalmente conhecem, como animaes irracionaes, n'isso se corrompem.
But these men say evil about such things as they have no knowledge of; and the things of which they have natural knowledge, like beasts without reason, are the cause of their destruction.
11 Ai d'elles! porque entraram pelo caminho de Caim, e foram levados pelo engano do galardão de Balaão, e pereceram pela contradicção de Coré.
A curse on them! They have gone in the way of Cain, running uncontrolled into the error of Balaam for reward, and have come to destruction by saying evil against the Lord, like Korah.
12 Estes são manchas em vossas festas de caridade, banqueteando comvosco, e apascentando-se a si mesmos sem temor: são nuvens sem agua, levadas dos ventos de uma a outra parte: são como arvores murchas, infructiferas, duas vezes mortas, desarreigadas;
These men are unseen rocks at your love-feasts, when they take part in them with you, keepers of sheep who without fear take the food of the sheep; clouds without water rushing before the wind, wasted trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots,
13 Ondas impetuosas do mar, que escumam as suas mesmas abominações: estrellas errantes, para os quaes está eternamente reservada a escuridão das trevas. (aiōn g165)
Violent waves of the sea, streaming with their shame, wandering stars for whom the darkest night is kept in store for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 E d'estes prophetizou tambem Enoch, o setimo depois de Adão, dizendo: Eis que é vindo o Senhor com milhares de seus sanctos;
The prophet Enoch, who was the seventh after Adam, said of these men, The Lord came with tens of thousands of his saints,
15 Para fazer juizo contra todos e castigar d'entre elles todos os impios, por todas as suas obras de impiedade, que impiamente commetteram, e por todas as duras palavras que os impios peccadores disseram contra elle.
To be the judge of all, and to give a decision against all those whose lives are unpleasing to him, because of the evil acts which they have done, and because of all the hard things which sinners without fear of God have said against him.
16 Estes são murmuradores, queixosos da sua sorte, andando segundo as suas concupiscencias, e cuja bocca falla coisas mui arrogantes, admirando as pessoas por causa do proveito.
These are the men who make trouble, ever desiring change, going after evil pleasures, using high-sounding words, respecting men's position in the hope of reward.
17 Mas vós, amados, lembrae-vos das palavras que vos foram preditas pelos apostolos de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo:
But you, my loved ones, keep in memory the words which were said before by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Como vos diziam que no ultimo tempo haveria escarnecedores que andariam segundo as suas impias concupiscencias.
How they said to you, In the last days there will be men who, guided by their evil desires, will make sport of holy things.
19 Estes são os que se separam a si mesmos, sensuaes, que não teem o Espirito.
These are the men who make divisions, natural men, not having the Spirit.
20 Mas vós, amados, edificando-vos a vós mesmos sobre a vossa sanctissima fé, orando no Espirito Sancto,
But you, my loved ones, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, and making prayers in the Holy Spirit,
21 Conservae-vos a vós mesmos na caridade de Deus, esperando a misericordia de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo para a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for life eternal through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
22 E apiedae-vos de alguns que estão duvidosos;
And have pity on those who are in doubt;
23 Mas salvae os outros por temor, e arrebatae-os do fogo, aborrecendo até a roupa manchada da carne.
And to some give salvation, pulling them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the clothing which is made unclean by the flesh.
24 Ora, áquelle que é poderoso para vos guardar de tropeçar, e apresentar-vos irreprehensiveis, com alegria, perante a sua gloria,
Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to give you a place in his glory, free from all evil, with great joy,
25 Ao unico Deus, Salvador nosso, por Jesus Christo, nosso Senhor, seja gloria e magestade, dominio e poder, antes de todos os seculos, agora, e para todo o sempre. Amen. (aiōn g165)
To the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, let us give glory and honour and authority and power, before all time and now and for ever. So be it. (aiōn g165)
