Josué 21
1 Então os Cabeças dos paes dos levitas se achegaram a Eleazar o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Nun, e aos Cabeças dos paes das tribus dos filhos d'Israel;
And the heads of the fathers of the Levites draw near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel,
2 E fallaram-lhes em Silo na terra de Canaan, dizendo: O Senhor ordenou, pelo ministerio de Moysés, que se nos déssem cidades para habitar, e os seus arrabaldes para os nossos animaes.
and they speak to them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, “YHWH commanded by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in, and their outskirts for our livestock.”
3 Pelo que os filhos d'Israel deram aos levitas da sua herança, conforme ao dito do Senhor, estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
And the sons of Israel give to the Levites, out of their inheritance, at the command of YHWH, these cities and their outskirts:
4 E saiu a sorte pelas familias dos kohathitas: e aos filhos de Aarão, o sacerdote, d'entre os levitas, cairam por sorte da tribu de Judah, e da tribu de Simeão, e da tribu de Benjamin, treze cidades;
and the lot goes out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities by lot,
5 E aos outros filhos de Kohath cairam por sorte das familias da tribu d'Ephraim, e da tribu de Dan, e da meia tribu de Manasseh, dez cidades;
and for the sons of Kohath who are left, out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities by lot.
6 E aos filhos de Gerson cairam por sorte das familias da tribu d'Issacar, e da tribu d'Aser, e da tribu de Naphtali, e da meia tribu de Manasseh em Basan, treze cidades;
And for the sons of Gershon, out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, [are] thirteen cities by lot.
7 Aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas familias, da tribu de Ruben, e da tribu de Gad, e da tribu de Zebulon, doze cidades.
For the sons of Merari, for their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, [are] twelve cities.
8 E deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes por sorte, como o Senhor ordenara pelo ministerio de Moysés.
And the sons of Israel give these cities and their outskirts to the Levites, as YHWH commanded by the hand of Moses, by lot.
9 Deram mais da tribu dos filhos de Judah e da tribu dos filhos de Simeão estas cidades, que por nome foram nomeadas:
And they give out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name;
10 Para que fossem dos filhos d'Aarão, das familias dos kohathitas, dos filhos de Levi: porquanto a primeira sorte foi sua.
and they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for the first lot has been theirs;
11 Assim lhes deram a cidade d'Arba, do pae d'Anok (esta é Hebron), no monte de Judah, e os seus arrabaldes em redor d'ella.
and they give to them the city of Arba father of Anak (it [is] Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, and its outskirts around it;
12 Porém o campo da cidade, e as suas aldeias, deram a Caleb, filho de Jefoné, por sua possessão.
and they have given the field of the city and its villages to Caleb son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13 Assim aos filhos d'Aarão, o sacerdote, deram a cidade do refugio do homicida, Hebron, e os seus arrabaldes, e Libna, e os seus arrabaldes;
And to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Hebron and its outskirts, and Libnah and its outskirts,
14 E Jatthir, e os seus arrabaldes, e Estmoa, e os seus arrabaldes;
and Jattir and its outskirts, and Eshtemoa and its outskirts,
15 E Cholon, e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir, e os seus arrabaldes,
and Holon and its outskirts, and Debir and its outskirts,
16 E Ain, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jutta, e os seus arrabaldes, e Bethsemes, e os seus arrabaldes: nove cidades d'estas duas tribus.
and Ain and its outskirts, and Juttah and its outskirts, Beth-Shemesh and its outskirts; nine cities out of these two tribes.
17 E da tribu de Benjamin, Gibeon, e os seus arrabaldes, Geba, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its outskirts, Geba and its outskirts,
18 Anathoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Almon, e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.
Anathoth and its outskirts, and Almon and its outskirts—four cities;
19 Todas as cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos d'Aarão, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, [are] thirteen cities and their outskirts.
20 E as familias dos filhos de Kohath, levitas, que ficaram dos filhos de Kohath, tiveram as cidades da sua sorte da tribu d'Ephraim.
And for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, who are left of the sons of Kohath, even the cities of their lot are of the tribe of Ephraim;
21 E deram-lhes Sichem, cidade do refugio do homicida, e os seus arrabaldes, no monte de Ephraim, e Gezer, e os seus arrabaldes;
and they give to them the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Shechem and its outskirts, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its outskirts,
22 E Kibsaim, e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-horon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
and Kibzaim and its outskirts, and Beth-Horon and its outskirts—four cities.
23 E da tribu de Dan, Elteke, e os seus arrabaldes, Gibbethon, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its outskirts, Gibbethon and its outskirts,
24 Ajalon, e os seus arrabaldes, Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Aijalon and its outskirts, Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts—four cities.
25 E da meia tribu de Manasseh, Taanach, e os seus arrabaldes, e Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its outskirts, and Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts—two cities;
26 Todas as cidades para as familias dos filhos de Kohath que ficavam, foram dez, e os seus arrabaldes.
all the cities [are] ten and their outskirts, for the families of the sons of Kohath who are left.
27 E aos filhos de Gerson, das familias dos levitas, Golan da meia tribu de Manasseh, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Basan, e os seus arrabaldes, e Be-estra, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
And for the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Golan in Bashan and its outskirts, and Beeshterah and its outskirts—two cities.
28 E da tribu de Issacar, Kisjon, e os seus arrabaldes: Daberath, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon and its outskirts, Dabarath and its outskirts,
29 Jarmuth, e os seus arrabaldes, En-gannim, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Jarmuth and its outskirts, En-Gannim and its outskirts—four cities.
30 E da tribu d'Aser, Misal, e os seus arrabaldes, Abdon, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal and its outskirts, Abdon and its outskirts,
31 Helkath, e os seus arrabaldes, e Rohob, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Helkath and its outskirts, and Rehob and its outskirts—four cities.
32 E da tribu de Naphtali, Kedes, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Galilea, e os seus arrabaldes, e Hamoth-dor, e os seus arrabaldes; e Cartan, e os seus arrabaldes: tres cidades.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its outskirts, and Hammoth-Dor and its outskirts, and Kartan and its outskirts—three cities;
33 Todas as cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas familias, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
all the cities of the Gershonite, for their families, [are] thirteen cities and their outskirts.
34 E ás familias dos filhos de Merari, dos levitas que ficavam, foram dadas da tribu de Zebulon, Jokneam e os seus arrabaldes, Carta e os seus arrabaldes,
And for the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites, who are left, [are, ] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and its outskirts, Kartah and its outskirts,
35 Dimna e os seus arrabaldes, Nahalal e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Dimnah and its outskirts, Nahalal and its outskirts—four cities.
36 E da tribu de Ruben, Beser, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jahaz, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its outskirts, and Jahazah and its outskirts,
37 Kedemoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mephaath, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Kedemoth and its outskirts, and Mephaath and its outskirts—four cities.
38 E da tribu de Gad, Ramoth, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Gilead, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mahanaim, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its outskirts, and Mahanaim and its outskirts,
39 Hesbon, e os seus arrabaldes, Jaezer e os seus arrabaldes: por todas, quatro cidades.
Heshbon and its outskirts, Jazer and its outskirts—four cities [in] all.
40 Todas estas cidades foram dos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas familias, que ainda restavam das familias dos levitas; e foi a sua sorte doze cidades.
All the cities for the sons of Merari, for their families, who are left of the families of the Levites—their lot is twelve cities.
41 Todas as cidades dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos d'Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel [are] forty-eight cities, and their outskirts.
42 Estavam estas cidades cada qual com os seus arrabaldes em redor d'ellas: assim estavam todas estas cidades.
These cities are each city and its outskirts around it; so to all these cities.
43 D'esta sorte deu o Senhor a Israel toda a terra que jurara dar a seus paes: e a possuiram e habitaram n'ella.
And YHWH gives to Israel the whole of the land which He has sworn to give to their fathers, and they possess it, and dwell in it;
44 E o Senhor lhes deu repouso em redor, conforme a tudo quanto jurara a seus paes; e nenhum de todos os seus inimigos ficou em pé diante d'elles; todos os seus inimigos o Senhor deu na sua mão.
and YHWH gives rest to them all around, according to all that which He has sworn to their fathers, and there has not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, YHWH has given the whole of their enemies into their hand;
45 Palavra alguma falhou de todas as boas palavras que o Senhor fallara á casa d'Israel: tudo se cumpriu.
there has not fallen a thing of all the good thing which YHWH spoke to the house of Israel—the whole has come.
