Josué 18
1 E toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel se ajuntou em Silo, e ali armaram a tenda da congregação, depois que a terra foi sujeita diante d'elles.
And all the congregation of the sons of Israel is assembled [at] Shiloh, and they cause the Tent of Meeting to dwell there, and the land has been subdued before them.
2 E d'entre os filhos de Israel ficaram sete tribus que ainda não tinham repartido a sua herança.
And there are seven tribes left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance,
3 E disse Josué aos filhos de Israel: Até quando sereis negligentes a passardes para possuir a terra que o Senhor Deus de vossos paes vos deu?
and Joshua says to the sons of Israel, “Until when are you remiss to go in to possess the land which He, YHWH, God of your fathers, has given to you?
4 De cada tribu escolhei vós tres homens, para que eu os envie, e se levantem, e corram a terra, e a descrevam segundo as suas heranças, e se tornem a mim.
Give three men from you for [each] tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come to me,
5 E a repartirão em sete partes: Judah ficará no seu termo para o sul, e a casa de José ficará no seu termo para o norte.
and they have divided it into seven portions—Judah stays by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph stays by their border on the north—
6 E vós descrevereis a terra em sete partes, e m'a trareis a mim aqui descripta: para que eu aqui lance as sortes perante o Senhor nosso Deus.
and you describe the land [in] seven portions, and have brought [it] to me here, and I have cast a lot for you here before our God YHWH;
7 Porquanto os levitas não teem parte no meio de vós, porém o sacerdocio do Senhor é a sua parte: e Gad, e Ruben e a meia tribu de Manasseh tomaram a sua herança d'além do Jordão para o oriente, a qual lhes deu Moysés, o servo do Senhor.
for there is no portion for the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of YHWH [is] their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses, servant of YHWH, gave to them.”
8 Então aquelles homens se levantaram, e se foram: e Josué deu ordem aos que iam descrever a terra, dizendo: Ide, e correi a terra, e descrevei-a, e então tornae a mim, e aqui vos lançarei as sortes perante o Senhor, em Silo.
And the men rise and go; and Joshua commands those who are going to describe the land, saying, “Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and return to me, and here I cast a lot for you before YHWH in Shiloh.”
9 Foram pois aquelles homens, e passaram pela terra, e a descreveram, segundo as cidades, em sete partes, n'um livro: e voltaram a Josué, ao arraial em Silo.
And the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a scroll, and they come to Joshua, to the camp [at] Shiloh.
10 Então Josué lhes lançou as sortes, em Silo, perante o Senhor; e ali repartiu Josué a terra aos filhos de Israel, conforme ás suas divisões.
And Joshua casts a lot for them in Shiloh before YHWH, and there Joshua apportions the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.
11 E subiu a sorte da tribu dos filhos de Benjamin, segundo as suas familias: e saiu o termo da sua sorte entre os filhos de Judah e os filhos de José.
And a lot goes up [for] the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goes out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.
12 E o seu termo foi para a banda do norte, desde o Jordão: e sobe este termo ao lado de Jericó para o norte, e sobe pela montanha para o occidente, sendo as suas saidas no deserto de Beth-aven.
And the border is for them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border has gone up to the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;
13 E d'ali passa este termo a Luza, ao lado de Luza (que é Beth-el) para o sul: e desce este termo a Ataroth-adar, ao pé do monte que está da banda do sul de Beth-horon a baixa.
and the border has gone over there to Luz, to the side of Luz (it [is] Beth-El) southward, and the border has gone down [to] Atroth-Addar, by the hill that [is] on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;
14 E vae este termo e torna á banda do occidente para o sul do monte que está defronte de Beth-horon, para o sul, e as suas saidas vão para Kiriath-baal (que é Kiriath-jearim), cidade dos filhos de Judah: esta é a sua extensão para o occidente.
and the border has been marked out, and has gone around to the corner of the sea southward, from the hill which [is] at the front of Beth-Horon southward, and its outgoings have been to Kirjath-Ba‘al (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim), a city of the sons of Judah: this [is] the west quarter.
15 E a sua extensão para o sul está á extremidade de Kiriath-jearim: e sae este termo ao occidente, e vem a sair á fonte das aguas de Nephtoah.
And the south quarter [is] from the end of Kirjath-Jearim, and the border has gone out westward, and has gone out to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;
16 E desce este termo até á extremidade do monte que está defronte do valle do filho de Hinnom, que está no valle dos rephains, para o norte, e desce pelo valle de Hinnom da banda dos jebuseos para o sul; e então desce á fonte de Rogel
and the border has come down to the extremity of the hill which [is] on the front of the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, which [is] in the Valley of the Rephaim northward, and has gone down the Valley of Hinnom to the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down [to] En-Rogel,
17 E vae desde o norte, e sae a En-semes; e d'ali sae a Geliloth, que está defronte da subida de Adummim, e desce á pedra de Bohan, filho de Ruben;
and has been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out to Geliloth, which [is] opposite the ascent of Adummim, and gone down [to] the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,
18 E passa até ao lado defronte d'Araba para o norte, e desce a Araba;
and passed over to the side in front of the Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;
19 Passa mais este termo até ao lado de Beth-hogla para o norte, estando as saidas d'este termo na lingua do mar salgado para o norte, na extremidade do Jordão para o sul: este é o termo do sul.
and the border has passed over to the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been to the north bay of the Salt Sea, to the south extremity of the Jordan; this [is] the south border;
20 E termina o Jordão da banda do oriente: esta é a herança dos filhos de Benjamin, nos seus termos em redor, segundo as suas familias.
and the Jordan borders it at the east quarter; this [is] the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders all around, for their families.
21 E as cidades da tribu dos filhos de Benjamin, segundo as suas familias, são: Jericó, e Beth-hogla, e Emekkesis,
And the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the Valley of Keziz,
22 E Beth-araba, e Semaraim, e Beth-el,
and Beth-Arabah, Zemaraim, and Beth-El,
23 E Havvim, e Para, e Ophra,
and Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,
24 E Chephar-haammonai, e Ophni, e Gaba: doze cidades e as suas aldeias:
and Chephar-Haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities and their villages.
25 Gibeon, e Rama, e Beeroth,
Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
26 E Mispah, e Chephira, e Mosa,
and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
27 E Rekem, e Irpeel, e Tharala,
and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
28 E Sela, Eleph, e Jebusi (esta é Jerusalem), Gibeath e Kiriath: quatorze cidades com as suas aldeias: esta é a herança dos filhos de Benjamin, segundo as suas familias.
and Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi (it [is] Jerusalem), Gibeath, Kirjath; fourteen cities and their villages. This [is] the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, for their families.
