João 17
1 Jesus disse estas coisas, e levantou seus olhos ao céu, e disse: Pae, é chegada a hora; glorifica a teu Filho, para que tambem o teu Filho te glorifique a ti:
These thingis Jhesus spak, and whanne he hadde cast vp hise iyen in to heuene, he seide, Fadir, the our cometh, clarifie thi sone, that thi sone clarifie thee.
2 Assim como lhe déste poder sobre toda a carne, para que dê a vida eterna a todos quantos lhe déste. (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast youun to hym power on ech fleisch, that al thing that thou hast youun to hym, he yyue to hem euerlastynge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
3 E a vida eterna é esta: que te conheçam, a ti só, por unico Deus verdadeiro, e a Jesus Christo, a quem enviaste. (aiōnios g166)
And this is euerlastynge lijf, that thei knowe thee very God aloone, and whom thou hast sent, Jhesu Crist. (aiōnios g166)
4 Eu glorifiquei-te na terra, tendo consummado a obra que me dés-te a fazer.
Y haue clarified thee on the erthe, Y haue endid the werk, that thou hast youun to me to do.
5 E agora glorifica-me tu, ó Pae, junto de ti mesmo, com aquella gloria que tinha comtigo antes que o mundo existisse.
And now, fadir, clarifie thou me at thi silf, with the clerenesse that Y hadde at thee, bifor the world was maad.
6 Manifestei o teu nome aos homens que do mundo me déste: eram teus, e tu m'os déste, e guardaram a tua palavra.
Y haue schewid thi name to tho men, whiche thou hast youun to me of the world; thei weren thine, and thou hast youun hem to me, and thei han kept thi word.
7 Agora já teem conhecido que tudo quanto me déste vem de ti,
And now thei han knowun, that alle thingis that thou hast youun to me, ben of thee.
8 Porque lhes dei as palavras que tu me déste; e elles as receberam, e teem verdadeiramente conhecido que sahi de ti, e creram que me enviaste.
For the wordis that thou hast youun to me, Y yaf to hem; and thei han takun, and han knowun verili, that Y wente out fro thee; and thei bileueden, that thou sentist me.
9 Eu rogo por elles: não rogo pelo mundo, mas por aquelles que me déste, porque são teus.
Y preie for hem, Y preye not for the world, but for hem that thou hast youun to me, for thei ben thine.
10 E todas as minhas coisas são tuas, e as tuas coisas são minhas; e n'elles sou glorificado.
And alle my thingis ben thine, and thi thingis ben myne; and Y am clarified in hem.
11 E eu já não estou mais no mundo; porém elles estão no mundo, e eu vou para ti. Pae sancto, guarda em teu nome aquelles que me déste, para que sejam um, assim como nós.
And now Y am not in the world, and these ben in the world, and Y come to thee. Hooli fadir, kepe hem in thi name, whiche thou yauest to me, that thei ben oon, as we ben.
12 Estando eu com elles no mundo, guardava-os em teu nome. Tenho guardado aquelles que tu me déste, e nenhum d'elles se perdeu, senão o filho da perdição, para que a Escriptura se cumprisse.
While Y was with hem, Y kepte hem in thi name; thilke that thou yauest to me, Y kepte, and noon of hem perischide, but the sone of perdicioun, that the scripture be fulfillid.
13 Mas agora vou para ti, e digo isto no mundo, para que tenham a minha alegria completa em si mesmos.
But now Y come to thee, and Y speke these thingis in the world, that thei haue my ioie fulfillid in hem silf.
14 Dei-lhes a tua palavra, e o mundo os aborreceu, porque não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.
Y yaf to hem thi word, and the world hadde hem in hate; for thei ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
15 Não rogo que os tires do mundo, mas que os livres do mal.
Y preye not, that thou take hem awei fro the world, but that thou kepe hem fro yuel.
16 Não são do mundo, como eu do mundo não sou.
They ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
17 Sanctifica-os na tua verdade: a tua palavra é a verdade.
Halewe thou hem in treuth; thi word is treuthe.
18 Assim como tu me enviaste ao mundo, tambem eu os enviei ao mundo.
As thou sentist me in to the world, also Y sente hem `in to the world.
19 E por elles me sanctifico a mim mesmo, para que tambem elles sejam sanctificados na verdade.
And Y halewe my silf for hem, that also thei ben halewid in treuthe.
20 E não rogo sómente por estes, mas tambem por aquelles que pela sua palavra hão de crêr em mim
And Y preye not oneli for hem, but also for hem that schulden bileue in to me bi the word of hem;
21 Para que todos sejam um como tu, ó Pae, em mim, e eu em ti; que tambem elles sejam um em nós, para que o mundo creia que tu me enviaste.
that all ben oon, as thou, fadir, in me, and Y in thee, that also thei in vs be oon; that the world bileue, that thou hast sent me.
22 E eu dei-lhes a gloria que a mim me déste, para que sejam um, como nós somos um:
And Y haue youun to hem the clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me, that thei ben oon,
23 Eu n'elles, e tu em mim, para que sejam perfeitos em um, e para que o mundo conheça que tu me enviaste a mim, e que os tens amado a elles como me tens amado a mim.
as we ben oon; Y in hem, and thou in me, that thei be endid in to oon; and that the world knowe, that thou sentist me, and hast loued hem, as thou hast loued also me.
24 Pae, aquelles que me déste quero que, onde eu estiver, tambem elles estejam comigo, para que vejam a minha gloria que me déste: porque tu me has amado antes da fundação do mundo.
Fadir, thei whiche thou yauest to me, Y wole that where Y am, that thei be with me, that thei see my clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me; for thou louedist me bifor the makyng of the world.
25 Pae justo, o mundo não te conheceu; mas eu te conheci, e estes conheceram que tu me enviaste a mim.
Fadir, riytfuli the world knew thee not, but Y knew thee, and these knewen, that thou sentist me.
26 E eu lhes fiz conhecer o teu nome, e lh'o farei conhecer mais, para que o amor com que me tens amado n'elles esteja, e eu n'elles.
And Y haue maad thi name knowun to hem, and schal make knowun; that the loue bi which thou `hast loued me, be in hem, and Y in hem.
