João 14
1 Não se turbe o vosso coração: crêdes em Deus, crêde tambem em mim.
LET not your heart be troubled: believe in Aloha, and in me believe.
2 Na casa de meu Pae ha muitas moradas; senão, eu vol-o teria dito; vou preparar-vos logar.
Many are the mansions of my Father's house: and if not, I would have told you; for I go to prepare for you a place.
3 E, se eu fôr, e vos preparar logar, virei outra vez, e vos levarei para mim mesmo, para que onde eu estiver estejaes vós tambem.
And if I go to prepare for you a place, I will come again and take you with me, that where I am you also may be.
4 E já sabeis para onde vou, e sabeis o caminho.
And whither I go you know, and the way you know.
5 Disse-lhe Thomé: Senhor, nós não sabemos para onde vaes; e como podemos saber o caminho?
Thoma saith to him, Our Lord, we know not whither thou goest, and how can we know the way?
6 Disse-lhe Jesus: Eu sou o caminho, e a verdade e a vida. Ninguem vem ao Pae, senão por mim.
Jeshu saith to him, I (am) the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto my Father unless by me.
7 Se vós me conhecesseis a mim, tambem conhecerieis a meu Pae; e já desde agora o conheceis, e o tendes visto.
But if me you had known, my Father also would you have known: and henceforth you know him and have seen him.
8 Disse-lhe Philippe: Senhor, mostra-nos o Pae, e isso nos basta.
Philipos saith to him, Our Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Disse-lhe Jesus: Estou ha tanto tempo comvosco, e não me tendes conhecido, Philippe? quem me vê a mim vê o Pae: e como dizes tu: Mostra-nos o Pae?
Jeshu saith to him, All this time have I been with you, and hast thou not known me, Philipé? He who me seeth, seeth the Father; and how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
10 Não crês tu que eu estou no Pae, e que o Pae está em mim? As palavras que eu vos digo não as digo de mim mesmo, mas o Pae, que está em mim, é quem faz as obras
Believest thou not that I am in my Father and my Father in me? And these words that I speak, I speak not from myself, but my Father who dwelleth in me, he doeth these works.
11 Crêde-me que estou no Pae, e que o Pae está em mim: crêde-me, ao menos, por causa das mesmas obras.
Believe that I am in my Father and my Father in me; and if not, even on account of the works, believe.
12 Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que aquelle que crê em mim tambem fará as obras que eu faço, e as fará maiores do que estas; porque eu vou para meu Pae
Amen, amen, I say to you, That whosoever believeth in me, these works that I do shall he do also; and more than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.
13 E tudo quanto pedirdes em meu nome eu o farei, para que o Pae seja glorificado no Filho.
And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, I will do for you, that the Father may be glorified in his Son.
14 Se pedirdes alguma coisa em meu nome, eu o farei.
And if you shall ask (of) me in my name, I will do.
15 Se me amaes, guardae os meus mandamentos.
IF you love me, keep my commandments;
16 E eu rogarei ao Pae, e elle vos dará outro Consolador, para que fique comvosco para sempre: (aiōn g165)
and I will pray of my Father, and another Paraclete will he give you, who will be with you for ever, (aiōn g165)
17 O Espirito de verdade, que o mundo não pode receber, porque não o vê nem o conhece: mas vós o conheceis, porque habita comvosco, e estará em vós.
the Spirit of truth, he whom the world cannot receive, because it doth not see him, nor know him. But you know him; for with you he dwelleth, and in you is.
18 Não vos deixarei orphãos; voltarei para vós.
I will not leave you orphans; for I will come to you a little after.
19 Ainda um pouco, e o mundo não me verá mais, porém vós me vereis; porque eu vivo, e vós vivereis.
And the world seeth me not, but you shall see me; for because I live, you also shall live.
20 N'aquelle dia conhecereis que estou em meu Pae, e vós em mim, e eu em vós.
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
21 Aquelle que tem os meus mandamentos e os guarda esse é o que me ama; e aquelle que me ama será amado de meu Pae, e eu o amarei, e me manifestarei a elle.
He who hath my commandments and keepeth them is he who loveth me; and he who loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest to him myself.
22 Disse-lhe Judas (não o Iscariotes): Senhor, d'onde vem que te has de manifestar a nós, e não ao mundo?
Jihuda saith to him, (it was not Scarjuta, ) My Lord, how to us wilt thou manifest thyself, and not to the world?
23 Jesus respondeu, e disse-lhe: Se alguem me ama, guardará a minha palavra, e meu Pae o amará, e viremos para elle, e faremos n'elle morada.
Jeshu replied, and said to him, He who loveth me, my word keepeth, and my Father will love him, and unto him we come, and a dwelling-place with him we make.
24 Quem me não ama não guarda as minhas palavras; e a palavra que ouvistes não é minha, mas do Pae que me enviou.
But he who loveth me not, keepeth not my word. And the word that you hear is not mine, but of the Father who sent me.
25 Tenho-vos dito estas coisas, estando ainda comvosco.
These have I spoken with you while I am with you.
26 Mas aquelle Consolador, o Espirito Sancto, que o Pae enviará em meu nome, esse vos ensinará todas as coisas, e vos fará lembrar de tudo quanto vos tenho dito.
But he, the Paraclete, the Spirit of Holiness, whom the Father sendeth in my name, he shall teach you every thing, and he shall remind you of all that I have said to you.
27 Deixo-vos a paz, a minha paz vos dou: não vol-a dou como o mundo a dá. Não se turbe o vosso coração, nem se atemorize.
PEACE I leave with you; my peace I give to you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor be afraid.
28 Ouvistes que eu vos disse: Vou, e venho para vós. Se me amasseis, certamente exultarieis por ter dito: Vou para o Pae; porque meu Pae é maior do que eu.
You have heard what I have told you, that I go, and come to you (again). If you had loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to my Father; for my Father is greater than I.
29 Eu vol-o disse agora antes que aconteça, para que, quando acontecer, vós acrediteis.
And now, behold, I have told you while it is not done, that when it has been you may believe.
30 Já não fallarei muito comvosco; porque já se approxima o principe d'este mundo, e nada tem em mim.
Henceforth I will not speak with you much; for the ruler of the world cometh, and in me hath he nothing.
31 Mas para que o mundo saiba que eu amo o Pae, e que faço como o Pae me mandou, levantae-vos, vamo-nos d'aqui.
But that the world may know that I love my Father, and as my Father hath commanded, so I do. Arise, let us go hence!
