Isaías 56
1 Assim diz o Senhor: Guardae o juizo, e fazei justiça, porque já a minha salvação está perto, para vir, e a minha justiça, para se manifestar.
The Lord seith these thingis, Kepe ye doom, and do ye riytfulnesse, for whi myn helthe is niy, that it come, and my riytfulnesse, that it be schewid.
2 Bemaventurado o homem que fizer isto, e o filho do homem que lançar mão d'isto; que se guarda de profanar o sabbado, e guarda a sua mão de perpetrar algum mal.
Blessid is the man, that doith this, and the sone of man, that schal take this; kepynge the sabat, that he defoule not it, kepynge hise hondis, that he do not ony yuel.
3 E não falle o filho do estrangeiro, que se houver chegado ao Senhor, dizendo: De todo me apartou o Senhor do seu povo: nem tão pouco diga o eunucho: Eis que eu sou uma arvore secca.
And seie not the sone of a comelyng, that cleueth faste to the Lord, seiynge, Bi departyng the Lord schal departe me fro his puple; and a geldyng, ether a chast man, seie not, Lo! Y am a drie tree.
4 Porque assim diz o Senhor dos eunuchos, que guardam os meus sabbados, e escolhem aquillo em que eu me agrado, e abraçam o meu concerto:
For the Lord seith these thingis to geldingis, that kepen my sabatis, and chesen what thingis Y wolde, and holden my boond of pees.
5 Tambem lhes darei na minha casa e dentro dos meus muros um logar e um nome, melhor do que o de filhos e filhas: um nome eterno darei a cada um d'elles, que nunca se apagará.
Y schal yyue to hem a place in myn hous, and in my wallis, and the beste name of sones and douytris; Y schal yyue to hem a name euerlastynge, that schal not perische.
6 E aos filhos dos estrangeiros, que se chegarem ao Senhor, para o servirem, e para amarem o nome do Senhor, e para lhe servirem de servos, todos os que guardarem o sabbado, não o profanando, e os que abraçarem o meu concerto,
And Y schal brynge in to blis the sones of a comelyng, that cleuen faste to the Lord, that thei worschipe hym, and loue his name, that thei be to hym in to seruauntis; ech man kepynge the sabat, that he defoule it not, and holdynge my boond of pees;
7 Tambem os levarei ao meu sancto monte, e os festejarei na minha casa de oração, os seus holocaustos e os seus sacrificios serão acceitos no meu altar; porque a minha casa será chamada a casa de oração para todos os povos
Y schal brynge hem in to myn hooli hil, and Y schal make hem glad in the hous of my preier; her brent sacrifices and her slayn sacrifices schulen plese me on my auter; for whi myn hous schal be clepid an hous of preier to alle puplis,
8 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah, que ajunta os dispersos de Israel: Ainda mais lhe ajuntarei com os que já se lhe ajuntaram.
seith the Lord God, that gaderith togidere the scaterid men of Israel. Yit Y schal gadere togidere to hym alle the gaderid men therof.
9 Vós, todas as bestas do campo, todas as bestas dos bosques, vinde a comer.
Alle beestis of the feeld, come ye to deuoure, alle beestis of the forest.
10 Todos os seus atalaias são cegos, nada sabem; todos são cães mudos, não podem ladrar: andam adormecidos, estão deitados, e amam o tosquenejar.
Alle the biholderis therof ben blinde, alle thei knewen not; doumbe doggis, that moun not berke, seynge veyn thingis, slepynge, and louynge dremes;
11 E estes cães são golosos, não se podem fartar; e elles são pastores que nada sabem entender: todos elles se tornam para o seu caminho, cada um para a sua ganancia, cada um por sua parte.
and moost vnschamefast doggis knewen not fulnesse. Tho scheepherdis knewen not vndurstondyng; alle thei bowyden in to her weie, ech man to his aueryce, fro the hiyeste `til to the laste.
12 Vinde, dizem, trarei vinho, e beberemos bebida forte; e o dia d'ámanhã será como este, e ainda maior e mais famoso.
Come ye, take we wyn, and be we fillid of drunkenesse; and it schal be as to dai, so and to morewe, and myche more.
