Isaías 52
1 Desperta desperta, veste-te da tua fortaleza, ó Sião: veste-te dos teus vestidos formosos, ó Jerusalem, cidade sancta; porque nunca mais entrará em ti nem incircumciso nem immundo.
AWAKE, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Sacode-te do pó, levanta-te, e assenta-te, ó Jerusalem: solta-te das ataduras de teu pescoço, ó captiva filha de Sião.
Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 Porque assim diz o Senhor: Por nada fostes vendidos: tambem sem dinheiro sereis resgatados.
For thus saith the Lord, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
4 Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: O meu povo em tempos passados desceu ao Egypto, para peregrinar lá, e a Assyria sem razão o opprimiu.
For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
5 E agora, que tenho eu aqui que fazer? diz o Senhor; pois o meu povo foi tomado sem nenhuma razão: e os que dominam sobre elle o fazem uivar, diz o Senhor; e o meu nome é blasphemado incessantemente todo o dia.
Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
6 Portanto o meu povo saberá o meu nome, por esta causa, n'aquelle dia; porque eu mesmo sou o que digo: Eis-me aqui.
Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
7 Quão suaves são sobre os montes os pés do que annuncia as boas novas, o que faz ouvir a paz; do que annuncia o bem, que faz ouvir a salvação: do que diz a Sião: O teu Deus reina
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Uma voz dos teus atalaias se ouve, alçam a voz, juntamente exultam; porque olho a olho verão, quando o Senhor tornar a trazer a Sião.
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.
9 Clamae cantando, exultae juntamente, desertos de Jerusalem; porque o Senhor consolou o seu povo, remiu a Jerusalem.
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 O Senhor desnudou o seu sancto braço perante os olhos de todas as nações; e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação do nosso Deus.
The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Retirae-vos, retirae-vos, sahi d'ahi, não toqueis coisa immunda: sahi do meio d'ella, purificae-vos, os que levaes os vasos do Senhor.
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.
12 Porque não sairieis apressadamente, nem vos ireis fugindo; porque o Senhor irá diante de vós, e o Deus d'Israel será a vossa rectaguarda.
For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.
13 Eis que o meu servo obrará com prudencia: será exaltado, e elevado, e mui sublime.
Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
14 Como pasmaram muitos á vista de ti, de que o seu parecer estava tão desfigurado mais do que o de outro qualquer, e a sua figura mais do que a dos outros filhos dos homens,
As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
15 Assim borrifará muitas nações, e os reis fecharão as suas boccas por causa d'elle; porque aquillo que não lhes foi annunciado o verão, e aquillo que elles não ouviram o entenderão.
So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
