Isaías 12

1 E dirás n'aquelle dia: Graças te dou, ó Senhor, de que, ainda que te iraste contra mim, comtudo a tua ira se retirou, e tu me consolas.

And thou hast said in that day: 'I thank thee, O Jehovah, Though Thou hast been angry with me, Turn back doth Thine anger, And Thou dost comfort me.

2 Eis que Deus é a minha salvação; n'elle confiarei, e não temerei; porque a minha força e o meu cantico é Deus Jehovah, e elle foi a minha salvação.

Lo, God [is] my salvation, I trust, and fear not, For my strength and song [is] Jah Jehovah, And He is to me for salvation.

3 E vós tirareis aguas com alegria das fontes da salvação.

And ye have drawn waters with joy Out of the fountains of salvation,

4 E direis n'aquelle dia: Dae graças ao Senhor, invocae o seu nome, manifestae os seus feitos entre os povos, contae quão exalçado é o seu nome.

And ye have said in that day, Give ye praise to Jehovah, call in His name. Make known among the peoples His acts. Make mention that set on high is His name.

5 Psalmodiae ao Senhor, porque fez coisas grandiosas: saiba-se isto em toda a terra.

Praise ye Jehovah, for excellence He hath done, Known is this in all the earth.

6 Exulta e canta de gozo, ó moradora de Sião, porque o Sancto de Israel grande é no meio de ti

Cry aloud, and sing, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in thy midst [is] the Holy One of Israel!'
