Oséias 12
1 Ephraim se apascenta de vento, e segue o vento leste: todo o dia multiplica a mentira e a destruição; e fazem alliança com a Assyria, e o azeite se leva ao Egypto.
Ephraim [is] feeding wind and [is] pursuing an east wind all the day falsehood and violence he increases and a covenant with Assyria they are making and oil to Egypt it is carried.
2 O Senhor tambem com Judah tem contenda, e fará visitação sobre Jacob segundo os seus caminhos; segundo as suas obras lhe recompensará.
And a case at law [belongs] to Yahweh with Judah and to visit [judgment] on Jacob according to ways his according to deeds his he will repay to him.
3 No ventre pegou do calcanhar de seu irmão, e pela sua força como principe se houve com Deus.
In the womb he took by [the] heel brother his and in manly vigor his he struggled with God.
4 Como principe se houve com o anjo, e prevaleceu; chorou, e lhe supplicou: em Beth-el o achou, e ali fallou comnosco,
And he struggled against an angel and he prevailed he wept and he sought favor to him Beth-el he found him and there he spoke with us.
5 A saber, o Senhor, o Deus dos Exercitos: o Senhor é o seu memorial.
And Yahweh [the] God of hosts Yahweh [is] memorial his.
6 Tu, pois, converte-te a teu Deus: guarda a beneficencia e o juizo, e em teu Deus espera sempre.
And you in God your you will return loyalty and justice keep and wait to God your continually.
7 Na mão do mercador está uma balança enganosa; ama a oppressão.
Canaan [who are] in hand his scales of deceit to defraud he loves.
8 Ainda diz Ephraim: Comtudo eu estou enriquecido, e tenho adquirido para mim grandes bens: em todo o meu trabalho não acharão em mim iniquidade alguma que seja peccado.
And he has said Ephraim surely I have become rich I have found wealth for myself all toil my not people will find to me iniquity which [is] sin.
9 Mas eu sou o Senhor teu Deus desde a terra do Egypto: eu ainda te farei habitar em tendas, como nos dias do ajuntamento.
And I [have been] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt again I will cause to dwell you in tents like [the] days of an appointed feast.
10 E fallarei aos prophetas, e multiplicarei a visão; e pelo ministerio dos prophetas proporei similes.
And I spoke to the prophets and I vision[s] I multiplied and by [the] hand of the prophets I gave parables.
11 Porventura não é Gilead iniquidade? pura vaidade são: em Gilgal sacrificam bois: os seus altares como montões de pedras são nos regos dos campos.
[is] Gilead Wickedness surely worthlessness they are in Gilgal bulls they have sacrificed also altars their [are] like heaps of stones on [the] furrows of a field.
12 Jacob fugiu para o campo da Syria, e Israel serviu por sua mulher, e por sua mulher guardou o gado.
And he fled Jacob [the] region of Aram and he served Israel for a wife and for a wife he kept [flocks].
13 Mas o Senhor por um propheta fez subir a Israel do Egypto, e por um propheta foi elle guardado.
And by a prophet he brought up Yahweh Israel from Egypt and by a prophet he was kept.
14 Ephraim porém mui amargosamente o irou: portanto deixará ficar sobre elle o seu sangue, e o seu Senhor lhe recompensará o seu opprobrio.
He has provoked to anger Ephraim bitterness and blood his on him he will leave and reproach his he will repay to him lord his.
