Ageu 2
1 No setimo mez, ao vigesimo primeiro do mez, foi a palavra do Senhor pelo ministerio do propheta Aggeo, dizendo:
In the seventh [month], on the twenty-first of the month, a word of YHWH has been by the hand of Haggai the prophet, saying,
2 Falla agora a Zorobabel, filho de Sealtiel, principe de Judah, e a Josué, filho de Josadac, summo sacerdote, e ao resto do povo, dizendo:
“Now speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
3 Quem ha entre vós que resta, que viu esta casa na sua primeira gloria, e qual agora a vêdes? não é esta como nada em vossos olhos, comparada com aquella.
Who among you has been left that saw this house in its former glory? And what are you seeing it now? Is it not, compared with it, as nothing in your eyes?
4 Ora, pois, esforça-te, Zorobabel, diz o Senhor, e esforça-te, Josué, filho de Josadac, summo sacerdote, e esforça-te, todo o povo da terra, diz o Senhor, e obra; porque eu sou comvosco, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos,
And now, be strong, O Zerubbabel,” A declaration of YHWH, “And be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest, And be strong, all you people of the land,” A declaration of YHWH, “And do, for I [am] with you,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
5 Segundo a palavra que concertei comvosco, quando saistes do Egypto, e o meu Espirito ficou no meio de vós: não temaes.
“The thing that I covenanted with you, In your coming forth from Egypt, And My Spirit is remaining in your midst, do not fear.”
6 Porque assim diz o Senhor dos Exercitos: Ainda uma vez d'aqui a pouco, e farei tremer os céus, e a terra, e o mar, e a terra secca;
For thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Yet once more—it [is] a little, And I am shaking the heavens and the earth, And the sea, and the dry land,
7 E farei tremer a todas as nações, e virão ao Desejado de todas as nações, e encherei esta casa de gloria, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos.
And I have shaken all the nations, And they have come [to] the desire of all the nations, And I have filled this house [with] glory,” said YHWH of Hosts.
8 Minha é a prata, e meu é o oiro, disse o Senhor dos Exercitos.
“The silver [is] Mine, and the gold [is] Mine,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
9 A gloria d'esta ultima casa será maior do que a da primeira, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos, e n'este logar darei a paz, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos.
“Greater is the glory of this latter house, Than of the former,” said YHWH of Hosts, “And I give peace in this place,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
10 Ao vigesimo quarto do mez nono, no segundo anno de Dario, veiu a palavra do Senhor pelo ministerio do propheta Aggeo, dizendo:
On the twenty-fourth of the ninth [month], in the second year of Darius, a word of YHWH has been by the hand of Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 Assim diz o Senhor dos Exercitos: Pergunta agora aos sacerdotes, ácerca da lei, dizendo:
Thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Now ask the priests of the Law, saying,
12 Se alguem leva carne sancta na aba do seu vestido, e com a sua aba toca no pão, ou no guizado, ou no vinho, ou no azeite, ou em outro qualquer mantimento, porventura isso será sanctificado? E os sacerdotes, respondendo, diziam: Não.
Behold, [when] one carries holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and he has come with his skirt against the bread, or against the stew, or against the wine, or against the oil, or against any food—is it holy?” And the priests answer and say, “No.”
13 E disse Aggeo: Se algum immundo, por causa d'um corpo morto, tocar n'alguma d'estas coisas, porventura ficará immunda? E os sacerdotes, respondendo, diziam: Ficará immunda.
And Haggai says, “If the unclean of body comes against any of these, is it unclean?” And the priests answer and say, “It is unclean.”
14 Então respondeu Aggeo, e disse: Assim é que este povo, e assim é que esta nação está diante do meu rosto, disse o Senhor; e assim é toda a obra das suas mãos: e tudo o que ali offerecem immundo é.
And Haggai answers and says, “So [is] this people, and so [is] this nation before Me,” a declaration of YHWH, “and so [is] every work of their hands, and that which they bring near there—it is unclean.
15 Agora pois, applicae o vosso coração n'isto, desde este dia em diante, antes que pozesseis pedra sobre pedra no templo do Senhor.
And now, please lay [it] to your heart, From this day and onward, Before the laying of stone to stone in the temple of YHWH.
16 Depois que estas coisas se faziam, veiu alguem ao montão de grão, de vinte medidas, e havia sómente dez: vindo ao lagar para tirar cincoenta do lagar, havia sómente vinte.
From that time [one] has come to a heap of twenty, And it has been ten, He has come to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures, And it has been twenty.
17 Feri-vos com queimadura, e com ferrugem, e com saraiva, em toda a obra das vossas mãos; e não houve entre vós quem voltasse para mim, diz o Senhor.
I have struck you with blasting, And with mildew, and with hail—All the work of your hands, And there is none of you with Me,” A declaration of YHWH.
18 Ponde pois o vosso coração n'isto, desde este dia em diante: desde o vigesimo quarto dia do mez nono, desde o dia em que se fundou o templo do Senhor, ponde o vosso coração n'isto.
“Now set [it] to your heart, from this day and onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth [month], even from the day that the temple of YHWH has been founded, set [it] to your heart.
19 Porventura ainda ha semente no celleiro? nem ainda a videira, nem a figueira, nem a romeira, nem a oliveira, tem dado os seus fructos, mas desde este dia te abençoarei.
Is the seed yet in the barn? And until now the vine and the fig, And the pomegranate, and the olive-tree, Have not borne—from this day I bless.”
20 E veiu a palavra do Senhor segunda vez a Aggeo, aos vinte e quatro do mez, dizendo:
And there is a word of YHWH a second time to Haggai, on the twenty-fourth of the month, saying,
21 Falla a Zorobabel, principe de Judah, dizendo: Farei tremer os céus e a terra:
“Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, I am shaking the heavens and the earth,
22 E transtornarei o throno dos reinos, e destruirei a força dos reinos das nações; e transtornarei o carro e os que n'elle se assentam; e os cavallos e os que andam montados n'elles cairão, cada um pela espada do seu irmão.
And have overturned the throne of kingdoms, And I have destroyed the strength of kingdoms of the nations, And overturned chariot and its charioteers, And horses and their riders have come down, Each by the sword of his brother.
23 N'aquelle dia, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos, te tomarei, ó Zorobabel, filho de Sealtiel, servo meu, diz o Senhor, e te farei como um annel de sellar; porque te escolhi, diz o Senhor dos Exercitos.
In that day,” a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, “I take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,” A declaration of YHWH, “And have set you as a signet, For I have fixed on you,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts!
