Gênesis 6
1 E aconteceu que, como os homens se começaram a multiplicar sobre a face da terra, e lhes nasceram filhas;
And whanne men bigunnen to be multiplied on erthe, and hadden gendrid douytris,
2 Viram os filhos de Deus que as filhas dos homens eram formosas; e tomaram para si mulheres de todas as que escolheram.
the sones of God seiyen the douytris of men that thei weren faire, and token wyues to hem of alle whiche thei hadden chose.
3 Então disse o Senhor: Não contenderá o meu Espirito para sempre com o homem; porque elle tambem é carne: porém os seus dias serão cento e vinte annos
And God seide, My spirit schal not dwelle in man with outen ende, for he is fleisch; and the daies of hym schulen be an hundrid and twenti yeer.
4 Havia n'aquelles dias gigantes na terra; e tambem depois, quando os filhos de Deus entraram ás filhas dos homens, e d'ellas geraram filhos: estes eram os valentes que houve na antiguidade, os varões de fama.

5 E viu o Senhor que a maldade do homem se multiplicára sobre a terra, e que toda a imaginação dos pensamentos de seu coração era só má continuamente.

6 Então arrependeu-se o Senhor de haver feito o homem sobre a terra, e pezou-lhe em seu coração.
and repentide him that he hadde maad man in erthe; and God was war bifore ayens tyme to comyng, and was touchid with sorewe of herte with ynne;
7 E disse o Senhor: Destruirei o homem que creei de sobre a face da terra, desde o homem até ao animal, até ao reptil, e até á ave dos céus; porque me arrependo de os haver feito.
and seide, Y schal do awei man, whom Y made of nouyt, fro the face of the erthe, fro man til to lyuynge thingis, fro crepynge beeste til to the briddis of heuene; for it repentith me that Y made hem.
8 Noé porém achou graça aos olhos do Senhor.
Forsothe Noe foond grace bifore the Lord.
9 Estas são as gerações de Noé: Noé era varão justo e recto em suas gerações: Noé andava com Deus
These ben the generaciouns of Noe. Noe was a iust man and perfit in hise generaciouns; Noe yede with God,
10 E gerou Noé tres filhos: Sem, Cão, e Japhet.
and gendride thre sones, Sem, Cam, and Jafeth.
11 A terra porém estava corrompida diante da face de Deus: e encheu-se a terra de violencia.
Forsothe the erthe was corrupt bifore God, and was fillid with wickidnes.
12 E viu Deus a terra, e eis que estava corrompida; porque toda a carne havia corrompido o seu caminho sobre a terra.
And whanne God seiy, that the erthe was corrupt, for ech fleisch ether man hadde corrupt his weie on erthe,
13 Então disse Deus a Noé: O fim de toda a carne é vindo perante a minha face; porque a terra está cheia de violencia; e eis que os desfarei com a terra.
he seide to Noe, The ende of al fleisch is comen bifore me; the erthe is fillid with wickidnesse of the face of hem, and Y schal distrye hem with the erthe.
14 Faze para ti uma arca da madeira de Gopher: farás compartimentos na arca, e a betumarás por dentro e por fóra com betume.
Make thou to thee a schip of trees hewun and planed; thou schalt make dwellynge placis in the schip, and thou schalt anoynte it with pitche with ynne and with outforth.
15 E d'esta maneira a farás: De trezentos covados o comprimento da arca, e de cincoenta covados a sua largura, e de trinta covados a sua altura.
And so thou schalt make it. The lengthe of the schip schal be of thre hundrid cubitis, the brede schal be of fifti cubitis, and the hiynesse therof schal be of thretti cubitis.
16 Farás na arca uma janella, e de um covado a acabarás em cima; e a porta da arca porás ao seu lado; far-lhe-has andares baixos, segundos e terceiros.
Thou schalt make a wyndow in the schip, and thou schalt ende the hiynesse therof in a cubite; sotheli thou schalt sette the dore of the schip in the side binethe; thou shalt make soleris and placis of thre chaumbris in the schip.
17 Porque eis que Eu trago um diluvio de aguas sobre a terra, para desfazer toda a carne em que ha espirito de vida debaixo dos céus: tudo o que ha na terra expirará.
Lo! Y schal brynge `watris of diluuye ether greet flood on erthe, and Y schal sle ech fleisch in which is the spirit of lijf vndir heuene, and alle thingis that ben in erthe, schulen be wastid.
18 Mas comtigo estabelecerei o meu pacto; e entrarás na arca tu e os teus filhos, e a tua mulher, e as mulheres de teus filhos comtigo.
And Y schal sette my couenaunt of pees with thee; and thou schalt entre in to the schip, and thy sones, and thi wijf, and the wiues of thi sones schulen entre with thee.
19 E de tudo o que vive, de toda a carne, dois de cada especie, metterás na arca, para os conservar vivos comtigo; macho e femea serão.
And of alle lyuynge beestis of al fleisch thou schalt brynge in to the schip tweyne and tweyne, of male kynde and female, that thei lyue with thee;
20 Das aves conforme a sua especie, e das bestas conforme a sua especie, de todo o reptil da terra conforme a sua especie, dois de cada especie virão a ti, para os conservar em vida.
of briddis bi her kynde, and of werk beestis in her kynde, and of ech crepynge beeste of erthe, by her kynde; tweyne and tweyne of alle schulen entre with thee, that thei moun lyue.
21 E tu toma para ti de toda a comida que se come, e ajunta-a para ti; e te será para mantimento para ti e para elles.
Therfore thou schalt take with thee of alle metis that moun be etun, and thou schalt bere to gidre at thee, and tho schulen be as well to thee as to the beestis in to mete.
22 Assim fez Noé: conforme a tudo o que Deus lhe mandou, assim o fez.
Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche God comaundide to hym.
