1 Este é o livro das gerações de Adão. No dia em que Deus creou o homem, á similhança de Deus o fez
This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;
2 Macho e femea os creou; e os abençoou, e chamou o seu nome Adão, no dia em que foram creados.
a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.
3 E Adão viveu cento e trinta annos, e gerou um filho á sua similhança, conforme á sua imagem e chamou o seu nome Seth.
And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
4 E foram os dias de Adão, depois que gerou a Seth, oitocentos annos: e gerou filhos e filhas.
And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
5 E foram todos os dias que Adão viveu, novecentos e trinta annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
6 E viveu Seth cento e cinco annos, e gerou a Enos.
And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
7 E viveu Seth, depois que gerou a Enos, oitocentos e sete annos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
8 E foram todos os dias de Seth novecentos e doze annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
9 E viveu Enos noventa annos; e gerou a Cainan.
And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
10 E viveu Enos, depois que gerou a Cainan, oitocentos e quinze annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.
11 E foram todos os dias de Enos novecentos e cinco annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.
12 E viveu Cainan, setenta annos; e gerou a Mahalalel.
And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
13 E viveu Cainan, depois que gerou a Mahalalel, oitocentos e quarenta annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
14 E foram todos os dias de Cainan novecentos e dez annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.
15 E viveu Mahalalel sessenta e cinco annos; e gerou a Jared.
And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
16 E viveu Mahalalel, depois que gerou a Jared, oitocentos e trinta annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
17 E foram todos os dias de Mahalalel oitocentos e noventa e cinco annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.
18 E viveu Jared cento e sessenta e dois annos; e gerou a Enoch.
And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
19 E viveu Jared, depois que gerou a Enoch, oitocentos annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.
20 E foram todos os dias de Jared novecentos e sessenta e dois annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.
21 E viveu Enoch sessenta e cinco annos; e gerou a Methusala.
And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
22 E andou Enoch com Deus, depois que gerou a Methusala, trezentos annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
23 E foram todos os dias de Enoch trezentos e sessenta e cinco annos.
And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 E andou Enoch com Deus; e não estava mais; porquanto Deus para si o tomou.
And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
25 E viveu Methusala cento e oitenta e sete annos; e gerou a Lamech.
And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
26 E viveu Methusala, depois que gerou a Lamech, setecentos e oitenta e dois annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
27 E foram todos os dias de Methusala novecentos e sessenta e nove annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
28 E viveu Lamech cento e oitenta e dois annos; e gerou um filho,
And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
29 E chamou o seu nome Noé, dizendo: Este nos consolará ácerca de nossas obras, e do trabalho de nossas mãos, por causa da terra que o Senhor amaldiçoou.
and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
30 E viveu Lamech, depois que gerou a Noé, quinhentos e noventa e cinco annos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
31 E foram todos os dias de Lamech setecentos e setenta e sete annos; e morreu.
And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
32 E era Noé da edade de quinhentos annos; e gerou Noé a Sem, Cão, e Japhet.
And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
