Gálatas 6
1 Irmãos, se algum homem chegar a ser surprehendido n'alguma offensa, vós, que sois espirituaes, encaminhae ao tal com espirito de mansidão; olhando por ti mesmo, para que não sejas tambem tentado.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do ye, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, least thou also shouldst be tempted.
2 Levae as cargas um dos outros, e assim cumprireis a lei de Christo.
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 Porque, se alguem cuida ser alguma coisa, não sendo nada, engana-se a si mesmo.
For if any one thinketh that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 Mas prove cada um a sua propria obra, e terá gloria só em si mesmo, e não n'outro.
But let every one try his own work, and then he will have matter of glorying in himself alone, and not in another.
5 Porque cada qual levará a sua propria carga.
For every one shall bear his own burthen.
6 E o que é instruido na palavra reparta de todos os seus bens com aquelle que o instrue.
And let him, that is instructed in the word, communicate in all good things to him that instructeth.
7 Não erreis: Deus não se deixa escarnecer; porque tudo o que o homem semear, isso tambem ceifará.
Be not deceived, God is not to be mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 Porque o que semeia na sua carne, da carne ceifará a corrupção; mas o que semeia no Espirito, do Espirito ceifará a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
9 E não nos cancemos de fazer bem, porque a seu tempo ceifaremos, se não houvermos desfallecido.
And let us not be weary in doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 De sorte que, emquanto temos tempo, façamos bem a todos, mas principalmente aos domesticos da fé.
And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith.
11 Vêde com que grandes lettras vos escrevi por minha mão.
Ye see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand.
12 Todos os que querem mostrar boa apparencia na carne esses vos obrigam a circumcidar-vos, sómente para não serem perseguidos por causa da cruz de Christo.
They, who want to make a fair appearance in the flesh, would constrain you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 Porque nem ainda esses mesmos que se circumcidam guardam a lei, mas querem que vos circumcideis, para se gloriarem na vossa carne.
For they, who are circumcised, do not themselves keep the law: but they would have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 Mas longe esteja de mim gloriar-me, a não ser na cruz de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo, por quem o mundo está crucificado para mim e eu para o mundo.
But God forbid that I should glory, unless in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Porque em Christo Jesus nem a circumcisão nem a incircumcisão tem virtude alguma, mas sim o ser uma nova creatura.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but being created anew.
16 E a todos quantos andarem conforme esta regra, paz e misericordia sobre elles e sobre o Israel de Deus.
And as many as shall walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be on them, even upon all the Israel of God.
17 Quanto ao mais, ninguem me seja molesto; porque trago no meu corpo as marcas do Senhor Jesus.
For the future, let no one give me uneasiness: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo seja, irmãos, com o vosso espirito. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.
