Esdras 2
1 Estes são os filhos da provincia, que subiram do captiveiro, dos transportados, que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babylonia, tinha transportado a Babylonia, e tornaram a Jerusalem e a Judah, cada um para a sua casa;
And these [are] sons of the province who are going up — of the captives of the removal that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed to Babylon, and they turn back to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his city —
2 Os quaes vieram com Zorobabel, Josué, Nehemias, Seraias, Reelaias, Mardocheo, Bilsan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum e Baana. O numero dos homens do povo de Israel:
who have come in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah: The number of the men of the people of Israel:
3 Os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
Sons of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy and two.
4 Os filhos de Sephtias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
Sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.
5 Os filhos d'Arah, setecentos e setenta e cinco.
Sons of Arah, seven hundred five and seventy.
6 Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesua-joab, dois mil, oitocentos e doze.
Sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua, Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
7 Os filhos d'Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoenta e quatro.
Sons of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

The singers: sons of Asaph, a hundred twenty and eight.
42 Os filhos dos porteiros: os filhos de Sallum, os filhos d'Ater, os filhos de Talmon, os filhos d'Akkub, os filhos d'Hatita, os filhos de Sobai: por todos, cento e trinta e nove.

56 Os filhos de Jaala, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
Sons of Jaalah, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,
57 Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos d'Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-hat-sebaim, os filhos de Ami.
Sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Ami.
58 Todos os nethineos, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety and two.
59 Tambem estes subiram de Tel-melah e Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan e Immer: porém não poderam mostrar a casa de seus paes, e sua linhagem, se d'Israel eram.
And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:
60 Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e cincoenta e dois.
sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos d'Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomou mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite a wife, and is called by their name; )
62 Estes buscaram o seu registro entre os que estavam registrados nas genealogias, mas não se acharam n'ellas; pelo que por immundos foram rejeitados do sacerdocio.
these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
63 E o tirsatha lhes disse que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e com Thummim.
and the Tirshatha saith to them, that they eat not of the most holy things till the standing up of a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 Toda esta congregação junta foi, quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
All the assembly together [is] four myriad two thousand three hundred sixty,
65 Afóra os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: tambem tinha duzentos cantores e cantoras.
apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and of them [are] singers and songstresses two hundred.
66 Os seus cavallos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty and six, their mules, two hundred forty and five,
67 Os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: os jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
their camels, four hundred thirty and five, asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 E alguns dos chefes dos paes, vindo á casa do Senhor, que habita em Jerusalem, deram voluntarias offertas para a casa de Deus, para a fundarem no seu logar.
And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming in to the house of Jehovah that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;
69 Conforme ao seu poder, deram para o thesouro da obra, em oiro, sessenta e um mil drachmas, e em prata cinco mil libras, e cem vestes sacerdotaes.
according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, drams six myriads and a thousand, and of silver, pounds five thousand, and of priests' coats, a hundred.
70 E habitaram os sacerdotes e os levitas, e alguns do povo, tanto os cantores, como os porteiros, e os nethineos, nas suas cidades; como tambem todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
