Ezequiel 8
1 Succedeu pois, no sexto anno, no mez sexto, no quinto dia do mez, estando eu assentado na minha casa, e os anciãos de Judah assentados diante de mim, que ali a mão do Senhor Jehovah caiu sobre mim.
And it was doon in the sixte yeer, in the sixte monethe, in the fyuethe dai of the monethe, Y sat in myn hous, and the elde men of Juda saten bifore me; and the hond of the Lord God felle there on me.
2 E olhei, e eis uma similhança como aspecto de fogo; desde o aspecto dos seus lombos, e d'ahi para baixo, era fogo; e dos seus lombos e d'ahi para cima como aspecto de um resplandor como de côr de ambar;
And Y siy, and lo! a licnesse as the biholdyng of fier; fro the biholding of hise leendis and bynethe was fier, and fro hise leendis and aboue was as the biholdyng of schynyng, as the siyt of electre.
3 E estendeu a fórma d'uma mão, e me tomou pelos cabellos da minha cabeça; e o Espirito me levantou entre a terra e o céu, e me trouxe a Jerusalem em visões de Deus, até á entrada da porta do pateo de dentro, que olha para o norte, onde estava o assento da imagem dos ciumes, que provoca a ciumes
And the licnesse of an hond was sent out, and took me bi the heer of myn heed; and the spirit reiside me bitwixe heuene and erthe, and brouyte me in to Jerusalem, in the siyt of God, bisidis the ynnere dore that bihelde to the north, where the idol of enuye was set, to stire indignacioun.
4 E eis que a gloria do Deus d'Israel estava ali, conforme o aspecto que eu tinha visto no valle.
And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.
5 E disse-me: Filho do homem, levanta agora os teus olhos para o caminho do norte. E levantei os meus olhos para o caminho do norte, e eis que da banda do norte, á porta do altar, estava esta imagem de ciumes na entrada.
And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.
6 E disse-me: Filho do homem, vês tu o que elles estão fazendo? as grandes abominações que a casa d'Israel faz aqui, para que me alongue do meu sanctuario? porém ainda tornarás a vêr maiores abominações.
And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.
7 E levou-me á porta do atrio: então olhei, e eis que havia um buraco na parede.
And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.
8 E disse-me: Filho do homem, cava agora n'aquella parede. E cavei na parede, e eis que havia uma porta.
And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.
9 Então me disse: Entra, e vê as malignas abominações que elles fazem aqui.
And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.
10 E entrei, e olhei, e eis que toda a forma de reptis, e bestas abominaveis, e de todos os idolos da casa d'Israel, estavam pintados na parede em todo o redor.
And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.
11 E setenta homens dos anciãos da casa de Israel, com Jaazanias, filho de Saphan, que estava no meio d'elles, estavam em pé diante d'elles, e cada um tinha na mão o seu incensario; e subia uma espessa nuvem de incenso.
And seuenti men of the eldere of the hous of Israel stoden; and Jeconye, the sone of Saphan, stood in the myddis of hem, stondynge bifore the peyntyngis; and ech man hadde a censere in his hond, and the smoke of a cloude of encense stiede.
12 Então me disse: Viste, porventura, filho do homem, o que os anciãos da casa de Israel fazem nas trevas, cada um nas suas camaras pintadas de imagens? porque dizem: O Senhor não nos vê; já desamparou o Senhor a terra.
And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.
13 E disse-me: Ainda tornarás a ver maiores abominações, que estes fazem.
And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.
14 E levou-me á entrada da porta da casa do Senhor, que está da banda do norte, e eis ali estavam mulheres assentadas chorando a Tammuz.
And he ledde me with ynne, bi the dore of the yate of the hous of the Lord, which dore bihelde to the north; and lo! wymmen saten there, biweilynge Adonydes.
15 E disse-me: Viste porventura isto, filho do homem? ainda tornarás a ver abominações maiores do que estas.
And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.
16 E levou-me para o atrio interior da casa do Senhor, e eis que estavam á entrada do templo do Senhor, entre o portico e o altar, quasi vinte e cinco homens, voltadas as costas para o templo do Senhor, e virados os rostos para o oriente; e elles adoravam o sol virados para o oriente.
And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.
17 Então me disse: Viste isto, filho do homem? ha porventura coisa mais leviana para a casa de Judah, do que fazer taes abominações, que fazem aqui? havendo enchido a terra de violencia, tornam a irritar-me; porque eis que elles chegam o ramo ao nariz.
And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.
18 Pelo que tambem eu usarei com elles de furor; o meu olho não poupará, nem me apiedarei: e, ainda que me gritem aos ouvidos com grande voz, comtudo não os ouvirei.
Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
