Ezequiel 7

1 Depois veiu a palavra do Senhor a mim, dizendo:

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

2 E tu, ó filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah ácerca da terra d'Israel: Vem o fim, o fim vem sobre os quatro cantos da terra.

And thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God to the land of Israel: The end is come, the end is come upon the four quarters of the land.

3 Agora vem o fim sobre ti, porque enviarei sobre ti a minha ira, e te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos, e trarei sobre ti todas as tuas abominações.

Now is an end come upon thee, and I will send my wrath upon thee, and I will judge thee according to thy ways: and I will set all thy abominations against thee.

4 E não te poupará o meu olho, nem me apiedarei de ti, mas porei sobre ti os teus caminhos, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti: e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.

And my eye shall not spare thee, and I will shew thee no pity: but I will lay thy ways upon thee, and thy abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and you shall know that I am the Lord.

5 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Um mal, eis que um só mal vem.

Thus saith the Lord God: One affliction, behold an affliction is come.

6 Vem o fim, o fim vem, despertou-se contra ti; eis que vem.

An end is come, the end is come, it hath awaked against thee: behold it is come.

7 Vem a manhã a ti, ó habitador da terra. Vem o tempo; chegado é o dia da turbação, e não ha echo nos montes.

Destruction is come upon thee that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of slaughter is near, and not of the joy of mountains.

8 Agora depressa derramarei o meu furor sobre ti, e cumprirei a minha ira contra ti, e te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos, e porei sobre ti todas as tuas abominações.

Now very shortly I will pour out my wrath upon thee, and I will accomplish my anger in thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and I will lay upon thee all thy crimes.

9 E não te poupará o meu olho, nem me apiedarei de ti; conforme os teus caminhos carregarei sobre ti, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, que firo

And my eye shall not spare, neither will I shew mercy: but I will lay thy ways upon thee, and thy abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and you shall know that I am the Lord that strike.

10 Eis aqui o dia, eis que vem; já saiu a manhã, já floresceu a vara, já reverdeceu a soberba.

Behold the day, behold it is come: destruction is gone forth, the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

11 A violencia se levantou para vara de impiedade: nada restará d'elles, nem da sua multidão, nem do seu arroido, nem haverá lamentação por elles.

Iniquity is risen up into a rod of impiety: nothing of them shall remain, nor of their people, nor of the noise of them: and there shall be no rest among them.

12 Vem o tempo, já é chegado o dia; o que compra não se alegre, e o que vende não se entristeça: porque a ira ardente está sobre toda a multidão d'elles.

The time is come, the day is at hand: let not the buyer rejoice: nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the people thereof.

13 Porque o que vende não tornará a possuir o que vendeu, ainda que a vida d'elles estivesse entre os viventes; porque a visão não tornará para traz sobre toda a sua multidão; nem ninguem esforçará a sua vida com a sua iniquidade.

For the seller shall not return to that which he hath sold, although their life be yet among the living. For the vision which regardeth all the multitude thereof, shall not go back: neither shall man be strengthened in the iniquity of his life.

14 Já tocaram a trombeta, e tudo prepararam, porém não ha quem vá á peleja, porque sobre toda a sua multidão está a minha ardente ira.

Blow the trumpet, let all be made ready, yet there is none to go to the battle: for my wrath shall be upon all the people thereof.

15 Fóra a espada, e dentro a peste e a fome: o que estiver no campo morrerá á espada, e o que estiver na cidade a fome e a peste o consumirão.

The sword without: and the pestilence, and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die by the sword: and they that are in the city, shall be devoured by the pestilence, and the famine.

16 E escaparão os que escaparem d'elles, porém estarão pelos montes, como pombas dos valles, todos gemendo, cada um por causa da sua maldade.

And such of them as shall flee shall escape: and they shall be in the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them trembling, every one for his iniquity.

17 Todas as mãos se enfraquecerão, e todos os joelhos escorrerão em aguas.

All hands shall be made feeble, and all knees shall run with water.

18 E se cingirão de saccos, e os cobrirá o tremor: e sobre todos os rostos haverá vergonha, e sobre todas as suas cabeças calva.

And they shall gird themselves with haircloth, and fear shall cover them, and shame shall be upon every face, and baldness upon all their heads.

19 A sua prata lançarão pelas ruas, e o seu oiro será como immundicia; nem a sua prata nem o seu oiro os poderá livrar no dia do furor do Senhor: não fartarão elles a sua alma, nem lhes encherão as entranhas, porque isto foi o tropeço da sua maldade

Their silver shall be cast forth, and their gold shall become a dunghill. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They shall not satisfy their soul, and their bellies shall not be filled: because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

20 E a gloria do seu ornamento elle a poz em magnificencia, porém fizeram n'ella imagens das suas abominações e coisas detestaveis: por isso eu lh'a tenho feito coisa immunda.

And they have turned the ornament of their jewels into pride, and have made of it the images of their abominations, and idols: therefore I have made it an uncleanness to them.

21 E a entregarei na mão dos estranhos por preza, e aos impios da terra por despojo: e a profanarão.

And I will give it into the hands of strangers for spoil, and to the wicked of the earth for a prey, and they shall defile it.

22 E desviarei d'elles o meu rosto, e profanarão o meu logar occulto; porque entrarão n'elle saqueadores, e o profanarão.

And I will turn away my face from them, and they shall violate my secret place: and robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

23 Faze uma cadeia, porque a terra está cheia de juizo de sangue, e a cidade está cheia de violencia.

Make a shutting up: for the land is full of the judgment of blood, and the city is full of iniquity.

24 E farei vir os pessimos de entre as nações, e possuirão as suas casas: e farei cessar a arrogancia dos valentes, e os que os sanctificam serão profanados.

And I will bring the worse of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: and I will make the pride of the mighty to cease, and they shall possess their sanctuary.

25 Vem a destruição, e buscarão a paz, porém não a ha

When distress cometh upon them, they will seek for peace and there shall be none.

26 Miseria sobre miseria virá, e se levantará rumor sobre rumor: então buscarão do propheta uma visão, porém do sacerdote perecerá a lei como tambem dos anciãos o conselho.

Trouble shall come upon trouble, and rumour upon rumour, and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

27 O rei lamentará, e o principe se vestirá de assolação, e as mãos do povo da terra se conturbarão; conforme o seu caminho lhes farei, e com os seus juizos os julgarei; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor

The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with sorrow, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and will judge them according to their judgments: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
