Ezequiel 38
1 Veiu mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra Gog, terra de Magog, principe e chefe de Mesech e Tubal, e prophetiza contra elle,
Son of man, set thy face against Gog, of the land of Magog, prince of Resh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu estou contra ti, ó Gog, principe e chefe de Mesech e de Tubal;
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Resh, Meshech, and Tubal!
4 E te farei voltar, e porei anzoes nos teus queixos, e te levarei a ti, com todo o teu exercito, cavallos e cavalleiros, todos vestidos bizarramente, congregação grande, com escudo e rodela, manejando todos a espada:
And I will turn thee about, and put rings into thy jaws; and I will bring thee forth, thee and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in gorgeous apparel, even a great multitude with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.
5 Persas, ethiopes, e puteos com elles, todos elles com escudo e capacete;
Persians, Ethiopians, and Lybians are with them, all of them with shields and helmets.
6 Gomer e todas as suas tropas, a casa de Togarma, da banda do norte, e todas as suas tropas, muitos povos comtigo.
Gomer and all his bands, the house of Togarmah from the north quarters, and all their hosts, many nations are with thee.
7 Prepara-te, e dispõe-te, tu e todas as tuas congregações que se ajuntaram ao pé de ti, e serve-lhes tu de guarda.
Be prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou and all thy host that are assembled unto thee, and be thou their leader!
8 Depois de muitos dias serás visitado: no fim dos annos virás á terra que se retirou da espada, e que foi congregada d'entre muitos povos aos montes de Israel, que sempre serviram de assolação; mas aquella terra foi tirada d'entre os povos, e todos elles habitarão seguramente.
After many days shalt thou be appointed over them. In the latter years shalt thou come into a land that is brought back from the sword, gathered out of many nations upon the mountains of Israel, which had been long desolate; but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.
9 Então subirás, virás como uma tempestade, far-te-has como uma nuvem para cobrir a terra, tu e todas as tuas tropas, e muitos povos comtigo.
Thou shalt go up like a storm, thou shalt come like a cloud, to cover the land, thou and all thy bands, and many nations with thee.
10 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: E será n'aquelle dia que subirão conselhos sobre o teu coração, e maquinarás um mau designio,
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: At the same time shall thoughts come into thy mind, and thou shalt meditate an evil design,
11 E dirás: Subirei contra a terra das aldeias, virei contra os que estão em repouso, que habitam seguros; todos elles habitam sem muro, e não teem ferrolho nem portas;
and shalt say, “I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 Para despojar o despojo, e para roubar o roubo, para tornar a tua mão contra as terras desertas que agora se habitam, e contra o povo que se ajuntou d'entre as nações, e já tem gado e possessões, que habita no meio da terra.
to take a spoil and to divide a prey, to turn my hand against the desolated places that have become inhabited, and against a people gathered out of the nations, possessing cattle and goods, dwelling in the heights of the earth.”
13 Sheba, e Dedan, e os mercadores de Tarsis, e todos os seus leõesinhos te dirão: Porventura tu vens a despojar o despojo? ou ajuntaste o teu ajuntamento para roubar o roubo? para levar a prata e o oiro, para tomar o gado e possessões, para despojar o grande despojo?
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, and all the chiefs thereof, shall say to thee, “Art thou come to take a spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to divide a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, and to divide great spoil?”
14 Portanto, prophetiza, ó filho do homem, e dize a Gog: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porventura não o experimentarás n'aquelle dia, quando o meu povo Israel habitar com segurança?
Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth securely, thou shalt observe it,
15 Virás pois do teu logar, das bandas do norte, tu e muitos povos comtigo, montados todos a cavallo, grande ajuntamento, e exercito numeroso,
and thou shalt come up from the regions of the North, thou and many nations with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty host;
16 E subirás contra o meu povo Israel, como uma nuvem, para cobrir a terra: no fim dos dias succederá; então te trarei contra a minha terra, para que as nações me conheçam a mim, quando eu me houver sanctificado em ti aos seus olhos, ó Gog
thou shalt come up against my people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land; in the latter days it shall come to pass, that I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in regard to thee, before their eyes, O Gog!
17 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porventura não és tu aquelle de quem eu disse nos dias antigos, pelo ministerio de meus servos, os prophetas de Israel, que n'aquelles dias prophetizaram largos annos, que te traria contra elles?
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou not he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants, the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days and years, that I would bring thee against them?
18 Succederá, porém, n'aquelle dia, no dia em que vier Gog contra a terra de Israel, diz o Senhor Jehovah, que a minha indignação subirá a meus narizes.
And it shall come to pass in that day, in the day when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, that my anger shall ascend in fury.
19 Porque fallei no meu zelo, no fogo do meu furor, que n'aquelle dia haverá grande tremor sobre a terra de Israel;
For in my jealousy, in the fire of my wrath, have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel,
20 De tal maneira que tremerão diante da minha face os peixes do mar, e as aves do céu, e os animaes do campo, e todos os reptis que se arrastam sobre a terra, e todos os homens que estão sobre a face da terra; e os montes serão deitados abaixo, e os precipicios cairão, e todos os muros cairão á terra.
so that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field; and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the ground, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 Porque chamarei sobre elle a espada por todos os meus montes, diz o Senhor Jehovah: a espada de cada um se voltará contra seu irmão.
And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah, and they shall all turn their swords against each other,
22 E contenderei com elle pela peste e pelo sangue; e uma chuva inundante, e grandes pedras de saraiva, fogo, e enxofre choverei sobre elle, e sobre as suas tropas, e sobre os muitos povos que estiverem com elle.
And I will contend against him with pestilence, and with blood; and overflowing showers, and great hailstones, fire and brimstone, will I rain upon him and his hosts, and the many nations that are with him.
23 Assim eu me engrandecerei e me sanctificarei, e me farei conhecer aos olhos de muitas nações; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
Thus will I show myself in my greatness and glory, and make myself known before the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
