Ezequiel 36
1 E tu, ó filho do homem, prophetiza aos montes de Israel, e dize: Montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
"You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, 'You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
2 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto diz o inimigo sobre vós: Ah! ah! até as eternas alturas são por nossa herança;
Thus says the LORD: "Because the enemy has said against you, 'Aha.' and, 'The ancient high places are ours in possession'"';
3 Portanto, prophetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos assolaram e devoraram em redor, para que vós ficasseis feitos herança do resto das nações, e estaes levantados em labios do paroleiro, e em infamia do povo,
therefore prophesy, and say, 'Thus says the LORD: "Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people";
4 Portanto, ouvi, ó montes de Israel, a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah aos montes e aos outeiros, ás correntes e aos valles, aos logares assolados e solitarios, e ás cidades desamparadas, que se tornaram em rapina e em escarneo ao resto das nações que lhes estão em redor
therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: "Thus says the LORD to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;
5 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Certamente no fogo do meu zelo fallei contra o resto das nações, e contra todo o Edom, que se appropriaram da minha terra, com alegria de todo o coração, e com menosprezo da alma, para ser lançada fóra á rapina
therefore thus says the LORD: 'Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.'"'
6 Portanto, prophetiza sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes e aos outeiros, ás correntes e aos valles: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que fallei no meu zelo e no meu furor, porquanto levastes sobre vós o opprobrio dos gentios.
"Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, 'Thus says the LORD: "Look, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations:
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eu levantei a minha mão, para que os gentios que vos estão em redor levem o seu opprobrio sobre si mesmos.
therefore thus says the Lord GOD: 'I have sworn, saying, "Surely the nations that are around you, they shall bear their shame."
8 Porém vós, ó montes de Israel, ainda produzireis o vosso ramo, e dareis o vosso fructo para o meu povo de Israel; porque estão para vir
"'"'But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
9 Porque eis que eu estou comvosco; e eu me virarei para vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados.
For, look, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and you shall be tilled and sown;
10 E multiplicarei os homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, a toda ella: e as cidades serão habitadas, e as solidões serão edificadas.
and I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built;
11 E multiplicarei homens e bestas sobre vós, e se multiplicarão, e fructificarão: e vos farei habitar como d'antes, e o farei melhor que nos vossos principios; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
and I will multiply on you man and animal; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better to you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
12 E farei andar sobre vós uns homens; o meu povo de Israel: elles te possuirão, e serás a sua herança, e nunca mais os desfilharás.
Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children.'"
13 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos dizem: Tu és uma terra que devora os homens, e és uma terra que desfilha os seus povos;
"'Thus says the LORD: "Because they say to you, 'You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation';
14 Por isso tu não devorarás mais os homens, nem desfilharás mais os teus povos, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nation any more," says the LORD;
15 E farei que nunca mais se ouça em ti a affronta dos gentios; nem levarás mais sobre ti o opprobrio das gentes nem mais desfilharás a tua nação, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
"neither will I let you hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shall you bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shall you cause your nation to stumble any more," says the LORD.'"
16 E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17 Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel habitava na sua terra, então a contaminaram com os seus caminhos e com as suas acções: como a immundicia de uma mulher separada, era o seu caminho perante o meu rosto.
"Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
18 Derramei pois o meu furor sobre elles, por causa do sangue que derramaram sobre a terra, e dos seus idolos, com que a contaminaram.
Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;
19 E os espalhei entre as nações, e foram espalhados pelas terras: conforme os seus caminhos, e conforme os seus tratos, os julguei.
and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 E, chegando ás nações para onde se foram, profanaram o meu sancto nome; porquanto se dizia d'elles: Estes são o povo do Senhor, e sairam da sua terra.
When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.'
21 Porém os poupei por amor do meu sancto nome, o qual a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde foi.
But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they went.
22 Dize portanto á casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Não é por vosso respeito que eu o faço, ó casa de Israel, porém pelo meu sancto nome, que profanaste entre as nações para onde vós fostes.
"Therefore tell the house of Israel, 'Thus says the LORD: "I do not do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went.
23 E eu sanctificarei o meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual profanastes no meio d'ellas; e as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor, diz o Senhor Jehovah, quando eu fôr sanctificado aos seus olhos
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD when I magnify myself among you before their eyes.
24 E vos tomarei d'entre as nações, e vos congregarei de todas as terras, e vos trarei para a vossa terra.
For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 Então espalharei agua pura sobre vós, e ficareis purificados: de todas as vossas immundicias e de todos os vossos idolos vos purificarei.
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 E vos darei um coração novo, e porei dentro de vós um espirito novo; e tirarei o coração de pedra da vossa carne, e vos darei um coração de carne.
And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 E porei dentro de vós o meu espirito, e farei que andeis nos meus estatutos, e guardeis os meus juizos, e os façaes.
I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.
28 E habitareis na terra que eu dei a vossos paes, e vós me sereis por povo, e eu vos serei por Senhor.
You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 E vos livrarei de todas as vossas immundicias; e chamarei o trigo, e o multiplicarei, e não trarei fome sobre vós.
I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
30 E multiplicarei o fructo das arvores, e a novidade do campo, para que nunca mais recebaes o opprobrio da fome entre as nações.
I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 Então vos lembrareis dos vossos maus caminhos, e dos vossos tratos, que não foram bons; e tereis nojo em vós mesmos das vossas maldades e das vossas abominações.
Then you shall remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 Não é por amor de vós que eu faço isto, diz o Senhor Jehovah; notorio vos seja: envergonhae-vos, e ficae confusa sobre os vossos caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
Nor for your sake do I this," says the LORD, "be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel."'
33 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: No dia em que eu vos purificar de todas as vossas maldades, então farei com que sejam habitadas as cidades e sejam edificadas as solidões.
"Thus says the LORD: 'In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.
34 E a terra assolada se lavrará, em logar de ser assolada aos olhos de todos os que passavam.
The land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
35 E dirão: Esta terra assolada ficou como jardim do Eden; e as cidades solitarias, e assoladas, e destruidas, estão fortalecidas e habitadas.
They shall say, "This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited."
36 Então saberão as nações, que ficarem de resto em redor de vós, que eu, o Senhor, reedifico as cidades destruidas, e planto o assolado: eu, o Senhor, o fallei, e farei.
Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.'"
37 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ainda por isso serei requerido da casa de Israel, que lh'o faça: multiplical-os-hei de homens, como a um rebanho.
"Thus says the LORD: 'For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
38 Como o rebanho sanctificado, como o rebanho de Jerusalem nas suas solemnidades, assim as cidades desertas serão cheias de rebanhos de homens; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'"
