Ezequiel 23

1 Veiu mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

2 Filho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas de uma mãe.

Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3 Estas fornicaram no Egypto; na sua mocidade fornicaram; ali foram apertados os seus peitos, e ali foram apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.

And they committed lewd deeds in Egypt; they committed lewd deeds in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they were first corrupted.

4 E os seus nomes eram: Ohola, a mais velha, e Oholiba, sua irmã; e foram minhas, e pariram filhos e filhas; e, quanto aos seus nomes, Samaria é Ohola, e Jerusalem é Oholiba.

And the names of them [were] Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bore sons and daughters. Thus [were] their names; Samaria [is] Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

5 E fornicou Ohola, sendo minha; e enamorou-se dos seus amantes, dos assyrios, seus visinhos,

And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbors.

6 Vestidos de azul, prefeitos e magistrados, todos mancebos de cobiçar, cavalleiros montados a cavallo.

[Who were] clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7 Assim commetteu ella as suas fornicações com elles, os quaes todos eram a flôr dos filhos da Assyria, e com todos os de quem se enamorava; com todos os seus idolos se contaminou.

Thus she committed her lewd deeds with them, with all them [that were] the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

8 E as suas fornicações, que trouxe do Egypto, não as deixou; porque com ella se deitaram na sua mocidade, e elles apalparam os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sobre ella a sua fornicação.

Neither left she her lewd deeds [brought] from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they first corrupted her, and poured their impurities upon her.

9 Portanto a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos filhos da Assyria, de quem se enamorara.

Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

10 Estes descobriram a sua vergonha, levaram seus filhos e suas filhas, mas a ella mataram á espada; e foi afamada entre as mulheres, e n'ella exerceram os juizos.

These uncovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

11 O que vendo sua irmã Oholiba, corrompeu o seu amor mais do que ella, e as suas fornicações mais do que as fornicações de sua irmã

And when her sister Aholibah saw [this], she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her prostitutions more than her sister in [her] prostitutions.

12 Enamorou-se dos filhos da Assyria, dos prefeitos e dos magistrados seus visinhos, vestidos com primor, cavalleiros que andam montados em cavallos, todos mancebos de cobiçar.

She doted upon the Assyrians [her] neighbors, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

13 E vi que se tinha contaminado; que o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.

Then I saw that she was defiled, [that] they [took] both one way.

14 E augmentou as suas fornicações, porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos chaldeos, pintadas de vermelho;

And [that] she increased her prostitutions: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion.

15 Cingidos de cinto nos seus lombos, e tiaras largas tingidas nas suas cabeças, todos de parecer de capitães, á similhança dos filhos de Babylonia em Chaldea, terra do seu nascimento.

Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

16 E se enamorou d'elles, vendo-os com os seus olhos: e lhes mandou mensageiros a Chaldea.

And as soon as she saw them with her eyes she doted upon them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.

17 Então vieram a ella os filhos de Babylonia para a cama dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas fornicações: e ella se contaminou com elles; então apartou-se d'elles a alma d'ella.

And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their lewdness, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

18 Assim descobriu as suas fornicações, e descobriu a sua vergonha: então a minha alma se apartou d'ella, como já se tinha apartado a minha alma de sua irmã.

So she disclosed her lewd deeds, and exposed her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, as my mind was alienated from her sister.

19 Porém multiplicou as suas fornicações, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que fornicara na terra do Egypto.

Yet she multiplied her prostitutions, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, in which she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20 E enamorou-se dos seus amantes, cujas carnes são como carnes de jumentos, e cujo fluxo é como o fluxo de cavallos.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh [is as] the flesh of asses, and whose issue [is like] the issue of horses.

21 Assim trouxeste á memoria a enormidade da tua mocidade, quando os do Egypto apalpavam os teus seios, por causa dos peitos da tua mocidade.

Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, by being corrupted by the Egyptians in thy youth.

22 Por isso, ó Oholiba, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, dos quaes se tinha apartado a tua alma, e os trarei contra ti de em redor:

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

23 Os filhos de Babylonia, e todos os chaldeos de Pecod, e de Soa, e de Coa, e todos os filhos da Assyria com elles, mancebos de cobiçar, prefeitos e magistrados todos elles, capitães e homens afamados, todos elles montados a cavallo.

The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

24 E virão contra ti com carros, carretas e rodas, e com ajuntamento de povos; e se porão contra ti em redor com rodelas, e escudos, e capacetes: e porei diante d'elles o juizo, e julgar-te-hão segundo os teus juizos.

And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, [which] shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet on every side: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

25 E porei contra ti o meu zelo, e usarão de indignação comtigo: o nariz e as orelhas te tirarão, e o que te ficar de resto cairá á espada: teus filhos e tuas filhas elles te tomarão, e o que ficar por ultimo em ti será consumido pelo fogo.

And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thy ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26 Tambem te despirão os teus vestidos, e te tomarão as tuas joias de enfeite.

They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

27 Assim farei cessar em ti a tua enormidade e a tua fornicação da terra do Egypto; e não levantarás os teus olhos para elles, nem te lembrarás mais do Egypto.

Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy adultery [brought] from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thy eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28 Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu te entregarei na mão dos que aborreces, na mão d'aquelles de quem se tinha apartado a tua alma.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand [of them] whom thou hatest, into the hand [of them] from whom thy mind is alienated:

29 E te tratarão com odio, e levarão todo o teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida: e descobrir-se-ha a vergonha da tua fornicação, e a tua enormidade, e as tuas fornicações.

And they shall treat thee with hatred, and shall take away all thy labor, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy prostitutions shall be disclosed, both thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

30 Estas coisas se te farão, porquanto tu fornicaste após os gentios, e porquanto te contaminaste com os seus idolos.

I will do these [things] to thee, because thou hast gone astray after the heathen, [and] because thou art polluted with their idols.

31 No caminho de tua irmã andaste; por isso te darei o seu copo na tua mão.

Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.

32 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Beberás o copo de tua irmã, fundo e largo: servirás de riso e escarneo; elle leva muito.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be treated with scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

33 De embriaguez e de dôr te encherás: o copo de tua irmã Samaria é copo de espanto e de assolação.

Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

34 Bebel-o-has pois, e esgotal-o-has, e os seus cacos roerás, e os teus peitos arrancarás; porque eu o fallei, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

Thou shalt even drink it, and empty it to the dregs, and thou shalt break its pieces, and pluck off thy own breasts: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.

35 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para traz das tuas costas, leva tu pois tambem a tua enormidade e as tuas fornicações.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

36 E disse-me o Senhor: Filho do homem, porventura julgarias a Ohola e a Oholiba? mostra-lhes pois as suas abominações.

The LORD said moreover to me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yes, declare to them their abominations;

37 Porque commetteram adulterio, e sangue se acha nas suas mãos, e com os seus idolos commetteram adulterio, e até os seus filhos, que me geraram, fizeram passar pelo fogo por si, para os consumir.

That they have committed adultery, and blood [is] in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass for them through [the fire], to devour [them].

38 E ainda isto me fizeram: contaminaram o meu sanctuario no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus sabbados.

Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

39 Porque, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos seus idolos, vinham ao meu sanctuario no mesmo dia para o profanarem; e eis que assim fizeram no meio da minha casa.

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.

40 E, o que mais é, enviaram uns homens, que haviam de vir de longe, aos quaes fôra enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram, por amor dos quaes te lavaste, coloriste os teus olhos, e te enfeitaste de enfeites.

And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, to whom a messenger [was] sent; and lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments,

41 E te assentaste sobre um leito de honra, diante do qual estava uma mesa preparada: e pozeste sobre ella o meu incenso e o meu oleo.

And sattest upon a stately bed and a table prepared before it, upon which thou hast set my incense and my oil.

42 Havia com ella a voz de uma multidão satisfeita, e com varões da classe baixa foram trazidos beberrões do deserto; e pozeram braceletes nas suas mãos, e corôas de esplendor nas suas cabeças.

And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was] with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought Sabeans from the wilderness, who put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

43 Então disse á envelhecida em adulterios: Agora devéras fornicarão as suas fornicações, como tambem ella.

Then said I to [her that was] old in adulteries, Will they now commit lewd deeds with her, and she [with them]?

44 E entraram a ella, como quem entra a uma prostituta: assim entraram a Ohola e a Oholiba, mulheres infames.

Yet they went in to her, as they go in to a woman that playeth the harlot: so they went in to Aholah and to Aholibah, the lewd women.

45 De maneira que homens justos elles as julgarão conforme o juizo das adulteras, e conforme o juizo das que derramam o sangue; porque adulteras são, e sangue ha nas suas mãos.

And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they [are] adulteresses, and blood [is] in their hands.

46 Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Farei subir contra ellas uma congregação, e as entregarei ao desterro e ao roubo.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and plundered.

47 E a congregação as apedrejará com pedras, e as acutilarão com as suas espadas: a seus filhos e a suas filhas matarão, e as suas casas queimarão a fogo.

And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire.

48 Assim farei cessar a infamia da terra, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres, e não façam conforme a vossa infamia.

Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

49 E a vossa infamia carregarão sobre vós, e levareis os peccados dos vossos idolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Jehovah.

And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.
