Ezequiel 22
1 E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
2 Tu pois, ó filho do homem, porventura julgarás, julgarás a cidade sanguinolenta? faze-lhe conhecer pois todas as suas abominações.
'And thou, son of man, dost thou judge? dost thou judge the city of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations,
3 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ai da cidade que derrama o sangue no meio d'ella, para que venha o seu tempo! que faz idolos contra si mesma, para se contaminar!
and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it hath made idols on it for defilement.
4 Pelo teu sangue que derramaste te fizeste culpada, e pelos teus idolos que fabricaste te contaminaste, e fizeste chegar os teus dias, e vieste aos teus annos; por isso eu te fiz o opprobrio das nações e o escarneo de todas as terras.
By thy blood that thou hast shed thou hast been guilty, And by thine idols that thou hast made thou hast been defiled, And thou causest thy days to draw near, And art come in unto thine years, Therefore I have given thee a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.
5 As que estão perto e as que estão longe de ti escarnecerão de ti, immunda de nome, cheia de inquietação.
The near and the far-off from thee scoff at thee, O defiled of name — abounding in trouble.
6 Eis que os principes de Israel, cada um conforme o seu poder, estiveram em ti, para derramarem o sangue.
Lo, princes of Israel — each according to his arm Have been in thee to shed blood.
7 Ao pae e á mãe desprezaram em ti; para com o estrangeiro usaram de oppressão no meio de ti: ao orphão e á viuva opprimiram em ti.
Father and mother made light of in thee, To a sojourner they dealt oppressively in thy midst, Fatherless and widow they oppressed in thee.
8 As minhas coisas sagradas desprezaste, e os meus sabbados profanaste.
My holy things thou hast despised, And My sabbaths thou hast polluted.
9 Homens calumniadores se acharam em ti, para derramarem o sangue; e em ti sobre os montes comeram; enormidade commetteram no meio de ti.
Men of slander have been in thee to shed blood, And on the mountains they have eaten in thee, Wickedness they have done in thy midst.
10 A vergonha do pae descobriram em ti: a que estava immunda, na sua separação, humilharam no meio de ti.
The nakedness of a father hath one uncovered in thee, The defiled of impurity they humbled in thee.
11 Tambem um fez abominação com a mulher do seu proximo, e outro contaminou abominavelmente a sua nora, e outro humilhou no meio de ti a sua irmã, filha de seu pae.
And each with the wife of his neighbour hath done abomination, And each his daughter-in-law hath defiled through wickedness, And each his sister, his father's daughter, hath humbled in thee.
12 Presentes receberam no meio de ti para derramarem o sangue: usura e demasia tomaste, e usaste de avareza com o teu proximo, opprimindo-o; porém de mim te esqueceste, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
A bribe they have taken in thee to shed blood, Usury and increase thou hast taken, And cuttest off thy neighbour by oppression, And Me thou hast forgotten, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!
13 E eis que bati as mãos contra a tua avareza, de que usaste, e por causa de teu sangue, que houve no meio de ti.
And lo, I have smitten My hand, Because of thy dishonest gain that thou hast gained, And for thy blood that hath been in thy midst.
14 Porventura estará firme o teu coração? porventura estarão fortes as tuas mãos, nos dias em que eu tratarei comtigo? eu, o Senhor, o fallei, e o farei.
Doth thy heart stand — are thy hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done [it].
15 E espalhar-te-hei entre as nações, e espalhar-te-hei pelas terras, e cosumirei a tua immundicia.
And I have scattered thee among nations, And have spread thee out among lands, And consumed thy uncleanness out of thee.
16 Assim serás profanada em ti aos olhos das nações, e saberás que eu sou o Senhor.
And thou hast been polluted in thyself Before the eyes of nations, And thou hast known that I [am] Jehovah.'
17 E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, 'Son of man,
18 Filho do homem, a casa de Israel se tornou para mim em escorias: todos elles são bronze, e estanho, e ferro, e chumbo no meio do forno: em escorias de prata se tornaram.
The house of Israel hath been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace — dross hath silver been,
19 Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto todos vós vos tornastes em escorias, por isso eis que eu vos ajuntarei no meio de Jerusalem.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, lo, I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,
20 Como se ajuntam a prata, e o bronze, e o ferro, e o chumbo, e o estanho, no meio do forno, para assoprar o fogo sobre elles, para fundir, assim vos ajuntarei na minha ira e no meu furor, e ali vos deixarei e fundirei.
A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace — to blow on it fire, to melt it, So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.
21 E congregar-vos-hei, e assoprarei sobre vós o fogo do meu furor; e sereis fundidos no meio d'ella.
And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And ye have been melted in its midst.
22 Como se funde a prata no meio do forno, assim sereis fundidos no meio d'ella; e sabereis que eu, o Senhor, derramei o meu furor sobre vós.
As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are ye melted in its midst, And ye have known that I, Jehovah, I have poured out My fury upon you.'
23 E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:
24 Filho do homem, dize-lhe: Tu és uma terra que não está purificada: e não tem chuva no dia da indignação.
'Son of man, say to it, Thou [art] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.
25 Conjuração dos seus prophetas ha no meio d'ella, como um leão que dá bramido, que arrebata a preza: elles devoram as almas; thesouros e coisas preciosas tomam, multiplicam as suas viuvas no meio d'ella.
A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, as a roaring lion tearing prey; The soul they have devoured, Wealth and glory they have taken, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.
26 Os seus sacerdotes violentam a minha lei, e profanam as minhas coisas sagradas; entre o sancto e o profano não fazem differença, nem discernem o impuro do puro; e de meus sabbados escondem os seus olhos, e assim sou profanado no meio d'elles.
Its priests have wronged My law, And they pollute My holy things, Between holy and common they have not made separation, And between the unclean and the clean they have not made known, And from my sabbaths they have hidden their eyes, And I am pierced in their midst.
27 Os seus principes no meio d'ella são como lobos que arrebatam a preza, para derramarem o sangue, para destruirem as almas, para seguirem a avareza.
Its princes in its midst [are] as wolves, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.
28 E os seus prophetas os rebocam de cal não adubada, vendo vaidade, e predizendo-lhes mentira, dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah; sem que o Senhor tivesse fallado.
And its prophets have daubed for them with chalk, Seeing a vain thing, and divining for them a lie, Saying, 'Thus said the Lord Jehovah:' And Jehovah hath not spoken.
29 Ao povo da terra opprimem gravemente, e andam fazendo roubos, e fazem violencia ao afflicto e necessitado, e ao estrangeiro opprimem sem razão.
The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder violently away, And humble and needy have oppressed, And the sojourner oppressed — without judgment.
30 E busquei d'entre elles um homem que estivesse tapando o muro, e estivesse na brecha perante mim por esta terra, para que eu não a destruisse; porém a ninguem achei.
And I seek of them a man making a fence, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land — not to destroy it, And I have not found.
31 Por isso eu derramei sobre elle a minha indignação, com o fogo do meu furor os consumi; fiz que o seu caminho recaisse sobre as suas cabeças, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
And I pour out on them mine indignation, By fire of My wrath I have consumed them, Their way on their own head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
