Ezequiel 11

1 Então me levantou o Espirito, e me levou á porta oriental da casa do Senhor, que olha para o oriente; e eis que estavam á entrada da porta vinte e cinco homens; e no meio d'elles vi a Jaazanias, filho de Azus, e a Pelatias, filho de Benaias, principes do povo.

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

2 E disse-me: Filho do homem, estes são os homens que pensam na perversidade, e aconselham conselho mau n'esta cidade.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are] the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

3 Que dizem: Não está proximo o tempo de edificar casas; esta cidade é a caldeira, e nós a carne.

Which say, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron, and we [be] the flesh.

4 Portanto, prophetiza contra elles: prophetiza, ó filho do homem.

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

5 Caiu pois sobre mim o Espirito do Senhor, e disse-me: Dize: Assim diz o Senhor: Assim vós dizeis, ó casa d'Israel, porque, quanto ás coisas que vos sobem ao espirito, eu as conheço.

And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every one of] them.

6 Multiplicastes os vossos mortos n'esta cidade, e enchestes as suas ruas de mortos.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Vossos mortos, que deitastes no meio d'ella, esses são a carne, e ella é a caldeira: a vós, porém, vos tirarei do meio d'ella.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they [are] the flesh, and this [city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

8 Temestes a espada, e a espada trarei sobre vós, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

9 E vos farei sair do meio d'ella, e vos entregarei na mão de estranhos, e exercerei os meus juizos entre vós.

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

10 Caireis á espada, e nos confins d'Israel vos julgarei; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.

Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

11 Esta cidade não vos servirá de caldeira, nem vós servireis de carne no meio d'ella: nos confins d'Israel vos julgarei.

This [city] shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; [but] I will judge you in the border of Israel:

12 E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, porque nos meus estatutos não andastes, nem fizestes os meus juizos; antes fizestes conforme os juizos das nações que estão em redor de vós

And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that [are] round about you.

13 E aconteceu que, prophetizando eu, morreu Pelatias, filho de Benaias: então cahi sobre o meu rosto, e clamei com grande voz, e disse: Ah! Senhor Jehovah! porventura farás tu consummação do resto d'Israel?

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

14 Então veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

15 Filho do homem, teus irmãos, sim, teus irmãos, os homens de teu parentesco, e toda a casa de Israel, todos elles, são aquelles a quem os habitantes de Jerusalem disseram: Apartae-vos para longe do Senhor; esta terra se nos deu em possessão.

Son of man, thy brethren, [even] thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, [are] they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

16 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ainda que os lancei para longe entre as nações, e ainda que os espalhei pelas terras, todavia lhes servirei de sanctuario, por um pouco de tempo, nas terras para onde foram.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

17 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ora ajuntar-vos-hei dos povos, e vos recolherei das terras para onde fostes lançados, e vos darei a terra d'Israel.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 E virão ali, e tirarão d'ella todas as suas coisas detestaveis e todas as suas abominações.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 E lhes darei um mesmo coração, e espirito novo porei dentro d'elles: e tirarei da sua carne o coração de pedra, e lhes darei um coração de carne

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 Para que andem nos meus estatutos, e guardem os meus juizos, e os façam: e elles me serão por povo, e eu lhes serei por Deus.

That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21 Quanto áquelles cujo coração andar conforme o coração das suas coisas detestaveis, e das suas abominações, farei recair nas suas cabeças o seu caminho, diz o Senhor Jehovah

But [as for them] whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

22 Então os cherubins elevaram as suas azas, e as rodas os acompanhavam; e a gloria do Deus d'Israel estava em cima, sobre elles.

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel [was] over them above.

23 E a gloria do Senhor se alçou desde o meio da cidade; e se poz sobre o monte que está defronte do oriente da cidade.

And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which [is] on the east side of the city.

24 Depois o Espirito me levantou, e me levou á Chaldea, para os do captiveiro, em visão, pelo Espirito de Deus; e subiu de sobre mim a visão que eu tinha visto.

Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25 E fallei aos do captiveiro todas as coisas que o Senhor me tinha mostrado.

Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.
