Êxodo 28
1 Depois tu farás chegar a ti teu irmão Aarão, e seus filhos com elle, do meio dos filhos de Israel, para me administrarem o officio sacerdotal: a saber, Aarão, Nadab e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar, os filhos de Aarão.
Take unto thee also Aaron thy brother with his sons, from among the children of Israel, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, Nadab, and Abiu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 E farás vestidos sanctos a Aarão teu irmão, para gloria e ornamento.
And thou shalt make a holy vesture for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3 Fallarás tambem a todos os que são sabios de coração, a quem eu tenho enchido do espirito da sabedoria, que façam vestidos a Aarão para sanctifical-o; para que me administre o officio sacerdotal.
And thou shalt speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s vestments, in which he being consecrated may minister to me.
4 Estes pois são os vestidos que farão: um peitoral, e um ephod, e um manto, e uma tunica bordada, uma mitra, e um cinto: farão pois sanctos vestidos a Aarão teu irmão, e a seus filhos, para me administrarem o officio sacerdotal.
And these shall be the vestments that they shall make: A rational and an ephod, a tunick and a strait linen garment, a mitre and a girdle. They shall make the holy vestments for thy brother Aaron and his sons, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.
5 E tomarão o oiro, e o azul, e a purpura, e o carmezim, e o linho fino,
And they shall take gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen.
6 E farão o ephod de oiro, e de azul, e de purpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido, de obra esmerada.
And they shall make the ephod of gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, embroidered with divers colours.
7 Terá duas hombreiras, que se unam ás suas duas pontas, e assim se unirá.
It shall have the two edges joined in the top on both sides, that they may be closed together.
8 E o cinto de obra esmerada do seu ephod, que estará sobre elle, será da sua mesma obra, do mesmo, de oiro, de azul, e de purpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido.
The very workmanship also and all the variety of the work shall be of gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
9 E tomarás duas pedras sardonicas, e lavrarás n'ellas os nomes dos filhos de Israel,
And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and shalt grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
10 Seis dos seus nomes n'uma pedra, e os outros seis nomes na outra pedra, segundo as suas gerações;
Six names on one stone, and the other six on the other, according to the order of their birth.
11 Conforme á obra do lapidario, como o lavor de sêllos lavrarás estas duas pedras, com os nomes dos filhos de Israel: engastadas ao redor em oiro as farás.
With the work of an engraver and the graving of a jeweller, thou shalt engrave them with the names of the children of Israel, set in gold and compassed about:
12 E porás as duas pedras nas hombreiras do ephod, por pedras de memoria para os filhos de Israel: e Aarão levará os seus nomes sobre ambos os seus hombros, para memoria diante do Senhor.
And thou shalt put them in both sides of the ephod, a memorial for the children of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon both shoulders, for a remembrance.
13 Farás tambem engastes de oiro,
Thou shalt make also hooks of gold.
14 E duas cadeiasinhas de oiro puro: de egual medida, de obra de fieira as farás: e as cadeiasinhas de fieira porás nos engastes.
And two little chains of the purest gold linked one to another, which thou shalt put into the hooks.
15 Farás tambem o peitoral do juizo de obra esmerada, conforme á obra do ephod o farás: de oiro, de azul, e de purpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido o farás.
And thou shalt make the rational of judgment with embroidered work of divers colours, according to the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
16 Quadrado e dobrado, será de um palmo o seu comprimento, e de um palmo a sua largura;
It shall be foursquare and doubled: it shall be the measure of a span both in length and in breadth.
17 E o encherás de pedras de engaste, com quatro ordens de pedras: a ordem de uma sardia, de um topazio, e de um carbunculo: esta será a primeira ordem:
And thou shalt set in it four rows of stones: in the first row shall be a sardius stone, and a topaz, and an emerald:
18 E a segunda ordem será de uma esmeralda, de uma saphira, e de um diamante:
In the second a carbuncle, a sapphire and a jasper.
19 E a terceira ordem será de um jacinto, de uma agatha, e de uma amethista:
In the third a ligurius, an agate, and an amethyst:
20 E a quarta ordem será de uma turqueza, e de uma sardonica, e de um jaspe; engastadas em oiro serão nos seus engastes.
In the fourth a chrysolite, an onyx, and a beryl. They shall be set in gold by their rows.
21 E serão aquellas pedras segundo os nomes dos filhos de Israel, doze segundo os seus nomes: serão esculpidas como sêllos, cada uma com o seu nome, para as doze tribus.
And they shall have the names of the children of Israel: with twelve names shall they be engraved, each stone with the name of one according to the twelve tribes.
22 Tambem farás ao peitoral cadeiasinhas de egual medida da obra de trança de oiro puro.
And thou shalt make on the rational chains linked one to another of the purest gold:
23 Tambem farás ao peitoral dois anneis de oiro, e porás os dois anneis nas extremidades do peitoral.
And two rings of gold, which thou shalt put in the two ends at the top of the rational.
24 Então metterás as duas cadeiasinhas de fieira d'oiro nos dois anneis, nas extremidades do peitoral:
And the golden chains thou shalt join to the rings, that are in the ends thereof:
25 E as duas pontas das duas cadeiasinhas de fieira metterás nos dois engastes, e as porás nas hombreiras do ephod, defronte d'elle.
And the ends of the chains themselves thou shalt join together with two hooks on both sides of the ephod, which is towards the rational.
26 Farás tambem dois anneis d'oiro, e os porás nas duas extremidades do peitoral, na sua borda que estiver junto ao ephod por dentro.
Thou shalt make also two rings of gold which thou shalt put in the top parts of the rational, in the borders that are over against the ephod, and look towards the back parts thereof.
27 Farás tambem dois anneis d'oiro, que porás nas duas hombreiras do ephod, abaixo, defronte d'elle, defronte da sua juntura, sobre o cinto d'obra esmerada do ephod.
Moreover also other two rings of gold, which are to be set on each side of the ephod beneath, that looketh towards the nether joining, that the rational may be fitted with the ephod,
28 E ligarão o peitoral com os seus anneis aos anneis do ephod por cima com um cordão d'azul, para que esteja sobre o cinto d'obra esmerada do ephod; e nunca se separará o peitoral do ephod.
And may be fastened by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a violet fillet, that the joining artificially wrought may continue, and the rational and the ephod may not be loosed one from the other.
29 Assim Aarão levará os nomes dos filhos d'Israel no peitoral do juizo sobre o seu coração, quando entrar no sanctuario, para memoria diante do Senhor continuamente.
And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the rational of judgement upon his breast, when he shall enter into the sanctuary, a memorial before the Lord for ever.
30 Tambem porás no peitoral do juizo Urim e Thummim, para que estejam sobre o coração de Aarão, quando entrar diante do Senhor: assim Aarão levará o juizo dos filhos de Israel sobre o seu coração diante do Senhor continuamente.
And thou shalt put in the rational of judgment doctrine and truth, which shall be on Aaron’s breast, when he shall go in before the Lord: and he shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his breast, in the sight of the Lord always.
31 Tambem farás o manto do ephod, todo azul.
And thou shalt make the tunick of the ephod all of violet,
32 E o collar da cabeça estará no meio d'elle: este collar terá uma borda d'obra tecida ao redor: como collar de saia de malha será n'elle, para que se não rompa.
In the midst whereof above shall be a hole for the head, and a border round about it woven, as is wont to be made in the outmost parts of garments, that it may not easily be broken.
33 E nas suas bordas farás romãs d'azul, e de purpura, e de carmezim, ao redor das suas bordas; e campainhas d'oiro no meio d'ellas ao redor.
And beneath at the feet of the same tunick round about, thou shalt make as it were pomegranates, of violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, with little bells set between:
34 Uma campainha d'oiro, e uma romã, outra campainha d'oiro, e outra romã, haverá nas bordas do manto ao redor,
So that there shall be a golden bell and a pomegranate, and again another golden bell and a pomegranate.
35 E estará sobre Aarão quando ministrar, para que se ouça o seu sonido, quando entrar no sanctuario diante do Senhor, e quando sair, para que não morra.
And Aaron shall be vested with it in the office of his ministry, that the sound may be heard, when he goeth in and cometh out of the sanctuary, in the sight of the Lord, and that he may not die.
36 Tambem farás uma lamina d'oiro puro, e n'ella gravarás á maneira de gravuras de sellos: Sanctidade ao Senhor.
Thou shalt make also a plate of the purest gold: wherein thou shalt grave with engraver’s work, Holy to the Lord.
37 E atal-a-has com um cordão d'azul, de maneira que esteja na mitra; sobre a frente da mitra estará.
And thou shalt tie it with a violet fillet, and it shall be upon the mitre,
38 E estará sobre a testa de Aarão, para que Aarão leve a iniquidade das coisas sanctas, que os filhos d'Israel sanctificarem em todas as offertas de suas coisas sanctas; e estará continuamente na sua testa, para que tenham acceitação perante o Senhor.
Hanging over the forehead of the high priest. And Aaron shall bear the iniquities of those things, which the children of Israel have offered and sanctified, in all their gifts and offerings. And the plate shall be always on his forehead, that the Lord may be well pleased with them.
39 Tambem farás tunica de linho fino: tambem farás uma mitra de linho fino: mas o cinto farás d'obra de bordador.
And thou shalt gird the tunick with fine linen, and thou shalt make a fine linen mitre, and a girdle of embroidered work.
40 Tambem farás tunicas aos filhos de Aarão, e far-lhes-has cintos: tambem lhes farás tiaras, para gloria e ornamento.
Moreover for the sons of Aaron thou shalt prepare linen tunicks, and girdles and mitres for glory and beauty:
41 E vestirás com elles a Aarão teu irmão, e tambem seus filhos: e os ungirás e consagrarás, e os sanctificarás, para que me administrem o sacerdocio.
And with all these things thou shalt vest Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him. And thou shalt consecrate the hands of them all, and shalt sanctify them, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.
42 Faze-lhes tambem calções de linho, para cobrirem a carne nua: serão dos lombos até ás pernas.
Thou shalt make also linen breeches, to cover the flesh of their nakedness from the reins to the thighs:
43 E estarão sobre Aarão e sobre seus filhos, quando entrarem na tenda da congregação, ou quando chegarem ao altar para ministrar no sanctuario, para que não levem iniquidade, e morram; isto será estatuto perpetuo para elle e para a sua semente depois d'elle.
And Aaron and his sons shall use them when they shall go in to the tabernacle of the testimony, or when they approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary, lest being guilty of iniquity they die. It shall be a law for ever to Aaron, and to his seed after him.
