Êxodo 26
1 E o tabernaculo farás de dez cortinas de linho fino torcido, e azul, purpura, e carmezim: com cherubins as farás d'obra esmerada.
“[Tell the people to] make the Sacred Tent using ten long strips of fine linen. They must take blue, purple, and red thread (OR, weave the strips from blue, purple, and red thread), and [a skilled craftsman] must embroider these strips with [designs that represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
2 O comprimento d'uma cortina será de vinte e oito covados, e a largura de uma cortina de quatro covados: todas estas cortinas serão d'uma medida.
Each strip is to be (14 yards/twelve meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
3 Cinco cortinas se enlaçarão uma á outra: e as outras cinco cortinas se enlaçarão uma com a outra.
[Tell them to] sew five strips together to make one set, and sew the other five strips together to make another set.
4 E farás laçadas d'azul na ponta d'uma cortina, na extremidade, na juntura: assim tambem farás na ponta da extremidade da outra cortina, na segunda juntura.
For each set, [they must] make loops of blue [cloth] and fasten them along the outer edge of the strip, at the end of each set.
5 Cincoenta laçadas farás n'uma cortina, e outras cincoenta laçadas farás na extremidade da cortina que está na segunda juntura: as laçadas estarão travadas uma com a outra.
[They must] put 50 loops on the edge of the first set, and 50 loops on the edge of the second set.
6 Farás tambem cincoenta colchetes d'oiro, e ajuntarás com estes colchetes as cortinas, uma com a outra, e será um tabernaculo.
[Tell them to] make 50 gold clasps/fasteners, to fasten both of the sets together. As a result, the inside of the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
7 Farás tambem cortinas de pellos de cabras por tenda sobre o tabernaculo: d'onze cortinas as farás.
Also, [tell them to] make a cover for the Sacred Tent from eleven pieces of cloth made from goats’ hair.
8 O comprimento d'uma cortina será de trinta covados, e a largura da mesma cortina de quatro covados: estas onze cortinas serão d'uma medida.
Each piece of cloth is to be (15 yards/13.5 meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
9 E ajuntarás cinco d'estas cortinas por si, e as outras seis cortinas tambem por si: e dobrarás a sesta cortina diante da tenda.
[Tell them to] sew five of these pieces of cloth together to make one set, and sew the other six pieces of cloth together to make another set. [They] must fold the sixth piece [of cloth] in half to make it double over the front of the Sacred Tent.
10 E farás cincoenta laçadas na borda d'uma cortina, na extremidade, na juntura, e outras cincoenta laçadas na borda da outra cortina, na segunda juntura.
[Tell them to] make 100 loops [of blue cloth], and to fasten 50 of them to the outer edge of the one set and fasten 50 to the outer edge of the other set.
11 Farás tambem cincoenta colchetes de cobre, e metterás os colchetes nas laçadas, e assim ajuntarás a tenda, para que seja uma
[Tell them to] make fifty bronze clasps/fasteners and put them in the cloth loops to join the two sets together. As a result, the cover for the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
12 E o resto que sobejar das cortinas da tenda, a metade da cortina que sobejar, penderá de sobejo ás costas do tabernaculo.
[Let] the extra part of the cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth], hang over the back of the Sacred Tent.
13 E um covado d'uma banda, e outro covado da outra, que sobejará no comprimento das cortinas da tenda, penderá de sobejo aos lados do tabernaculo d'uma e d'outra banda, para cobril-o.
The extra half yard/meter of each cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth] on each side, must hang over the two sides of the Sacred Tent, to protect the sides.
14 Farás tambem á tenda uma coberta de pelles de carneiro, tintas de vermelho, e outra coberta de pelles de teixugo em cima.
[Tell them to] make two more covers for the Sacred Tent. One is to be made from rams’ skins that have been (tanned/dyed red), and the top cover is to be made from goatskin leather.”
15 Farás tambem as taboas para o tabernaculo de madeira de sittim, que estarão levantadas.
“[Tell them to] make frames from acacia wood, frames that will be set up [from which to hang the Sacred Tent covers].
16 O comprimento d'uma taboa será de dez covados, e a largura de cada taboa será d'um covado e meio.
Each frame is to be (five yards/four meters) long and (27 in./66 cm.) wide.
17 Duas couceiras terá cada taboa, travadas uma com a outra: assim farás com todas as taboas do tabernaculo.
[They] must make two projections at the bottom of each frame. These will be to fasten the frames to the bases underneath them. They must make these projections at the bottom of each frame.
18 E farás as taboas para o tabernaculo assim: vinte taboas para a banda do meio dia ao sul.
Make 20 frames for the south side of the Sacred Tent.
19 Farás tambem quarenta bases de prata debaixo das vinte taboas: duas bases debaixo d'uma taboa para as suas duas couceiras, e duas bases debaixo d'outra taboa para as suas duas couceiras.
[Tell them to] make 40 silver bases to go underneath them. Two bases will go under each frame. The projections [at the bottom] of each frame are [to be made] to fit into the bases.
20 Tambem haverá vinte taboas ao outro lado do tabernaculo, para a banda do norte,
[Similarly], [tell them to] make twenty frames for the north side of the Sacred Tent.
21 Com as suas quarenta bases de prata: duas bases debaixo d'uma taboa, e duas bases debaixo d'outra taboa,
[They] must make 40 silver bases for them also, with two bases to be put under each frame.
22 E ao lado do tabernaculo para o occidente farás seis taboas.
For the rear of the Sacred Tent, on the west side, [tell them to] make six frames.
23 Farás tambem duas taboas para os cantos do tabernaculo, d'ambos os lados;
Also, [tell them to] make two extra frames, one for each corner of the rear of the Sacred Tent, [to provide extra support].
24 E por baixo se ajuntarão, e tambem em cima d'elle se ajuntarão n'uma argola. Assim se fará com as duas taboas: ambas serão por taboas para os dois cantos.
The two corner frames must be joined from the bottom to the top (OR, joined at both the bottom and the top). At the top of each of the two corner frames there must be a gold ring for holding the crossbar.
25 Assim serão as oito taboas com as suas bases de prata, dezeseis bases: duas bases debaixo d'uma taboa, e duas bases debaixo d'outra taboa.
In that way, [for the rear of the Sacred Tent] there will be eight frames, and there will be 16 bases, two under each frame.
26 Farás tambem cinco barras de madeira de sittim, para as taboas d'um lado do tabernaculo,
[Tell them to] make 15 crossbars from acacia wood.
27 E cinco barras para as taboas do outro lado do tabernaculo; como tambem cinco barras para as taboas do outro lado do tabernaculo, d'ambas as bandas para o occidente.
Five of them will be for the frames on the north side of the Sacred Tent, five will be for the south side, and five for the frames at the rear of the Sacred Tent, the west side.
28 E a barra do meio estará no meio das taboas, passando d'uma extremidade até á outra.
Tell them to fasten the crossbars on the north, south, and west sides of the Sacred Tent to the middle of the frames. The two long ones must extend from one end of the Sacred Tent to the other, and the crossbar on the west side must extend from one side of the Sacred Tent to the other.
29 E cobrirás d'oiro as taboas, e farás d'oiro as suas argolas, para metter por ellas as barras: tambem as barras as cobrirás d'oiro.
[Tell them to] cover the frames with gold, and make gold rings to fasten the crossbars to the frames. The crossbars must [also] be covered with gold.
30 Então levantarás o tabernaculo conforme ao modelo que te foi mostrado no monte.
Erect the Sacred Tent in the way that I have shown you [here] on [this] mountain.”
31 Depois farás um véu de azul, e purpura, e carmezim, e de linho fino torcido; com cherubins de obra prima se fará,
“[Tell them to] make a curtain from fine linen. A skilled craftsman must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread, making [designs to represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
32 E o porás sobre quatro columnas de madeira de sittim, cobertas de oiro: seus colchetes serão de oiro, sobre quatro bases de prata.
[Tell them to] suspend/hang the curtain from four posts made from acacia wood and covered with gold. Set [each] post in a silver base.
33 Pendurarás o véu debaixo dos colchetes, e metterás a arca do testemunho ali dentro do véu: e este véu vos fará separação entre o sanctuario e o logar sanctissimo.
[They] must suspend/hang the [top of the] curtain by hooks that are fastened to the roof of the Sacred Tent. Behind the curtain, in the [room called the] Very Holy Place, [they] must put the chest containing the [two stone slabs on which I have written my] commandments. That curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place.
34 E porás a coberta do propiciatorio sobre a arca do testemunho no sanctissimo,
On top of the chest in the Very Holy Place [they] must put the lid which will be the place where [blood will be sprinkled to] forgive people’s sins.
35 E a mesa porás fóra do véu, e o castiçal defronte da mesa, ao lado do tabernaculo, para o sul; mas a mesa porás á banda do norte
[In the room that is] outside of the Very Holy Place, [they] must put the table [for the sacred] bread on the north side, and put the lampstand on the south side.
36 Farás tambem para a porta da tenda uma coberta de azul, e purpura, e carmezim, e de linho fino torcido, de obra de bordador,
[Tell them to] make a curtain to [cover] the entrance of the Sacred Tent. They must make it from fine linen, and a skilled weaver must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
37 E farás para esta coberta cinco columnas de madeira de sittim, e as cobrirás de oiro; seus colchetes serão de oiro, e far-lhe-has de fundição cinco bases de cobre.
To hold up this curtain, [they] must make five posts from acacia wood. [They] must cover them with gold, and fasten gold clasps/fasteners to them. Also [they] must make a bronze base for each of these posts.”
