Efésios 2
1 E vos vivificou, estando vós mortos pelas offensas e peccados,
and also you, he filleth, who were dead in your sins, and in your offences,
2 Em que d'antes andastes segundo o curso d'este mundo, segundo o principe da potestade do ar, do espirito que agora opera nos filhos da desobediencia. (aiōn g165)
in the which ye before walked, according to the worldliness of this world, and according to the pleasure of the prince potentate of the air, that spirit which is active in the children of disobedience: (aiōn g165)
3 Entre os quaes todos nós tambem d'antes andavamos nos desejos da nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e dos pensamentos; e eramos por natureza filhos da ira, como os outros tambem.
in which deeds we also, formerly, were conversant, in the cravings of our flesh; and we did the pleasure of our flesh, and of our mind, and were altogether the children of wrath, like the rest.
4 Porque Deus, que é riquissimo em misericordia, pelo seu muito amor com que nos amou,
But God who is rich in his mercies, because of the great love with which he loved us,
5 Estando nós ainda mortos em nossas offensas, nos vivificou juntamente com Christo (pela graça sois salvos),
when we were dead in our sins, quickened us with the Messiah, and rescued us by his grace;
6 E nos resuscitou juntamente, e nos fez assentar juntamente nos céus, em Christo Jesus;
and resuscitated us with him, and seated us with him in heaven, in Jesus the Messiah:
7 Para mostrar nos seculos vindouros as abundantes riquezas da sua graça, pela sua benignidade para comnosco em Christo Jesus. (aiōn g165)
that he might show to the coming ages the magnitude of the riches of his grace, and his benignity towards us in Jesus the Messiah. (aiōn g165)
8 Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé; e isto não vem de vós; é dom de Deus
For it is by his grace we are rescued, through faith; and this is not of yourselves, but it is the gift of God:
9 Não vem das obras, para que ninguem se glorie.
not of works, lest any one glory.
10 Porque somos feitura sua, creados em Christo Jesus para as boas obras, as quaes Deus preparou para que andassemos n'ellas.
For we are his creation; who are created in Jesus the Messiah, for good works, which God hath before prepared for us to walk in.
11 Portanto, lembrae-vos de que vós d'antes ereis gentios na carne, e chamados incircumcisão pelos que na carne se chamam circumcisão feita pela mão dos homens;
Wherefore be mindful, that ye formerly were carnal Gentiles; and ye were called the uncircumcision, by that which is called the circumcision, and which is the work of the hands in the flesh.
12 Que n'aquelle tempo estaveis sem Christo, separados da communidade d'Israel, e estranhos aos concertos da promessa, não tendo esperança, e sem Deus no mundo.
And ye were, at that time, without the Messiah; and were aliens from the regulations of Israel; and strangers to the covenant of the promise; and were without hope, and without God, in the world.
13 Mas agora em Christo Jesus, vós, que d'antes estaveis longe, já pelo sangue de Christo chegastes perto.
But now, by Jesus the Messiah, ye who before were afar off, have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.
14 Porque elle é a nossa paz, o qual de ambos os povos fez um; e, derribando a parede de separação que estava no meio,
For he is himself our peace, who hath made the two become one, and hath demolished the wall which stood in the midst, and the enmity, by his flesh;
15 Na sua carne desfez a inimizade, a saber, a lei dos mandamentos, que consistia em tradições, para crear em si mesmo os dois em um novo homem, fazendo a paz,
and by his prescriptions he hath abolished the law of ordinances; that, in himself, he might make the two to be one new man; and he hath made peace,
16 E pela cruz reconciliar com Deus a ambos em um corpo, matando n'ella as inimizades.
and hath reconciled both with God, in one body, and hath slain the enmity by his cross.
17 E, vindo, elle evangelizou a paz, a vós que estaveis longe, e aos que estavam perto;
And he came, and proclaimed peace to you afar off, and to those near:
18 Porque por elle ambos temos accesso em um mesmo Espirito ao Pae.
because, by him there is access for us both, by one Spirit, unto the Father.
19 Assim que já não sois estrangeiros, nem forasteiros, mas concidadãos dos sanctos e domesticos de Deus;
Wherefore, ye are not strangers, nor sojourners, but ye are fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.
20 Edificados sobre o fundamento dos apostolos e dos prophetas, de que Jesus Christo é a principal pedra da esquina;
And ye are built upon the foundations of the legates and the prophets; and Jesus the Messiah hath become the head of the corner in the edifice.
21 No qual todo o edificio, bem ajustado, cresce para templo sancto no Senhor.
And in him all the edifice is framed together, and groweth into a holy temple in the Lord;
22 No qual tambem vós juntamente sois edificados para morada de Deus em Espirito.
while ye also are builded in him, for a habitation of God through the Spirit.
