< Deuteronômio 33 >
1 Esta, porém, é a benção com que Moysés, homem de Deus, abençoou os filhos de Israel antes da sua morte
This is the blessing that Moses [Drawn out] the man of God blessed the children of Israel [God prevails] before his death.
2 Disse pois: O Senhor veiu de Sinai, e lhes subiu de Seir; resplandeceu desde o monte Paran, e veiu com dez milhares de sanctos: á sua direita havia para elles o fogo da lei.
He said, “Adonai came from Sinai [Thorn], and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.
3 Na verdade ama os povos; todos os seus sanctos estão na tua mão; postos serão no meio, entre os teus pés, cada um receberá das tuas palavras.
Yes, he choveiv ·hides in bosom, loves· the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.
4 Moysés nos deu a lei por herança da congregação de Jacob.

8 E de Levi disse: Teu Thummim e teu Urim são para o teu amado, que tu provaste em Massah, com quem contendeste ás aguas de Meribah.

He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
10 Ensinaram os teus juizos a Jacob, e a tua lei a Israel; metteram incenso no teu nariz, e o holocausto sobre o teu altar.
They shall teach Jacob [Supplanter] your judgments, and Israel [God prevails] your Torah ·Teaching·. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.
11 Abençoa o seu poder, ó Senhor, e a obra das suas mãos te aguarde: fere os lombos dos que se levantam contra elle e o aborrecem, que nunca mais se levantem.
Adonai, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”
12 E de Benjamin disse: O amado do Senhor habitará seguro com elle: todo o dia o cobrirá, e morará entre os seus hombros.

13 E de José disse: Bemdita do Senhor seja a sua terra, com o mais excellente dos céus, como orvalho, e com o abysmo que jaz abaixo.

14 E com as mais excellentes novidades do sol, e com as mais excellentes producções da lua,
for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, for the precious things that the moon can yield,
15 E com o mais excellente dos montes antigos, e com o mais excellente dos outeiros eternos,
for the best things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 E com o mais excellente da terra, e com a sua plenidão, e com a benevolencia d'aquelle que habitava na sarça, a benção venha sobre a cabeça de José, e sobre o alto da cabeça do que foi separado de seus irmãos
for the precious things of the earth and its fullness, the good will of him who lived in the bush. Let this come on the head of Joseph [May he add], on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
17 Elle tem a gloria do primogenito do seu boi, e as suas pontas são pontas de unicornio: com elles escorneará os povos juntamente até ás extremidades da terra: estes pois são os dez milhares de Ephraim, e estes são os milhares de Manasseh.
The firstborn of his herd, majesty is his. His horns are the horns of the wild ox. With them he will push all the peoples, to the ends of the earth. They are the ten thousands of Ephraim [Fruit]. They are the thousands of Manasseh [Causing to forget].”
18 E de Zebulon disse: Zebulon, alegra-te nas tuas saidas; e tu, Issacar, nas tuas tendas.
About Zebulun [Living together] he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun [Living together], in your going out; and Issachar [Hire, Reward], in your tents.
19 Elles chamarão os povos ao monte: ali offerecerão offertas de justiça, porque chuparão a abundancia dos mares e os thesouros escondidos da areia.
They will call the peoples to the mountain. There they will offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, the hidden treasures of the sand.”
20 E de Gad disse: Bemdito aquelle que faz dilatar a Gad, habita como a leoa, e despedaça o braço e alto da cabeça.

21 E se proveu do primeiro, porquanto ali estava escondida a porção do legislador: pelo que veiu com os chefes do povo, executou a justiça do Senhor e os seus juizos para com Israel.
He provided the first part for himself, for the Torah-giver’s portion reserved was reserved for him. He came with the heads of the people. He executed the righteousness of Adonai, His judgments with Israel [God prevails].”
22 E de Dan disse: Dan é leãozinho; saltará de Basan.

24 E de Aser disse: Bemdito seja Aser com seus filhos, agrade a seus irmãos, e banhe em azeite o seu pé.
About Asher [Happy] he said, “Asher [Happy] is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.
25 O ferro e o metal será o teu calçado; e a tua força será como os teus dias.
Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.
26 Não ha outro, ó Jeshurun, similhante a Deus! que cavalga sobre os céus para a tua ajuda, e com a sua alteza sobre as mais altas nuvens.
“There is no one like God, Jeshurun [Upright one], who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.
27 O Deus eterno te seja por habitação, e por baixo sejam os braços eternos: e elle lance o inimigo de diante de ti, e diga: Destroe-o.
The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He divorce and cast away the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’
28 Israel pois habitará só seguro, na terra da fonte de Jacob, na terra de grão e de mosto: e os seus céus gotejarão orvalho.
Israel [God prevails] dwells in safety; the fountain of Jacob [Supplanter] alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
29 Bemaventurado tu, ó Israel! quem é como tu? um povo salvo pelo Senhor, o escudo do teu soccorro, e a espada da tua alteza: pelo que os teus inimigos te serão sujeitos, e tu pisarás sobre as suas alturas.
You are happy, Israel [God prevails]! Who is like you, a people saved by Adonai, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”
