Deuteronômio 12
1 Estes são os estatutos e os juizos que tereis cuidado em fazer na terra que vos deu o Senhor Deus de vossos paes, para a possuir todos os dias que viverdes sobre a terra.
These are the statutes and the regulations which ye must observe to do, in the land which Yahweh the God of thy fathers hath given unto thee, to possess it, —all the days that ye are living upon the soil:
2 Totalmente destruireis todos os logares, onde as nações que possuireis serviram os seus deuses, sobre as altas montanhas, e sobre os outeiros, e debaixo de toda a arvore verde;
Ye must utterly destroy, all the places where the nations whom ye are dispossessing have served their gods, —Upon the high mountains And upon the hills, And under every green tree;
3 E derribareis os seus altares, e quebrareis as suas estatuas, e os seus bosques queimareis a fogo, e talhareis as imagens esculpidas dos seus deuses, e apagareis o seu nome d'aquelle logar.
And ye must tear down their altars And break in pieces their pillars, And, their sacred stems, must ye consume with fire, And the carved images of their gods, must ye fell to the ground, —And destroy their name out of that place.
4 Assim não fareis ao Senhor vosso Deus;
Ye must not do thus unto Yahweh your God;
5 Mas o logar que o Senhor vosso Deus escolher de todas as vossas tribus, para ali pôr o seu nome, buscareis para sua habitação, e ali vireis.
but, unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, —as his habitation, shall ye ask your way, and come in thither;
6 E ali trareis os vossos holocaustos, e os vossos sacrificios, e os vossos dizimos, e a offerta alçada da vossa mão, e os vossos votos, e as vossas offertas voluntarias, e os primogenitos das vossas vaccas e das vossas ovelhas.
and bring in thither your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand, —and your vow-offerings and your freewill-offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock;
7 E ali comereis perante o Senhor vosso Deus, e vos alegrareis em tudo em que poreis a vossa mão, vós e as vossas casas, no que te abençoar o Senhor teu Deus.
and shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and rejoice in all whereunto ye are putting your hand, Ye, and your households, —wherewith Yahweh thy God hath blessed thee.
8 Não fareis conforme a tudo o que hoje fazemos aqui, cada qual tudo o que bem parece aos seus olhos.
Ye must not do according to all that we are doing here to-day, —every man, whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 Porque até agora não entrastes no descanço e na herança que vos dá o Senhor vosso Deus
Because ye have not entered as yet, —into the resting-place and into the inheritance which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee.
10 Mas passareis o Jordão, e habitareis na terra que vos fará herdar o Senhor vosso Deus: e vos dará repouso de todos os vossos inimigos em redor, e morareis seguros.
But, when ye shall pass over the Jordan, and settle down in the land which, Yahweh your God, is causing you to inherit, —and he shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye shall dwell securely,
11 Então haverá um logar que escolherá o Senhor vosso Deus para ali fazer habitar o seu nome; ali trareis tudo o que vos ordeno; os vossos holocaustos, e os vossos sacrificios, e os vossos dizimos, e a offerta alçada da vossa mão, e toda a escolha dos vossos votos que votardes ao Senhor.
then shall it be, that unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to make a habitation for his name there, thither, shall ye bring in all that I am commanding you, —your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices your tithes and the heave-offering of your hand, and all your chosen vow-offerings which ye shall vow unto Yahweh.
12 E vos alegrareis perante o Senhor vosso Deus, vós, e vossos filhos, e vossas filhas, e os vossos servos, e as vossas servas, e o levita que está dentro das vossas portas; pois comvosco não tem parte nem herança.
So shall ye rejoice before Yahweh your God, Ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your servants and your handmaids, —and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath neither portion nor inheritance with you.
13 Guarda-te, que não offereças os teus holocaustos em todo o logar que vires;
Take heed to thyself, lest thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up in just any place which thou shalt see;
14 Mas no logar que o Senhor escolher n'uma das tuas tribus ali offerecerás os teus holocaustos, e ali farás tudo o que te ordeno.
but, in the place which Yahweh shall choose in one of thy tribes, there, shalt thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up, and, there, shalt thou do all that I am commanding thee.
15 Porém, conforme a todo o desejo da tua alma, degolarás e comerás carne segundo a benção do Senhor teu Deus, que te dá em todas as tuas portas: o immundo e o limpo d'ella comerá; como do corço e do veado:
Howbeit of anything thy soul desireth, mayest thou sacrifice and so eat flesh—according to the blessing of Yahweh thy God which he hath bestowed upon thee, in all thy gates, the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, —as the gazelle and as the hart,
16 Tão sómente o sangue não comereis: sobre a terra o derramareis como agua.
Howbeit, the blood, shall ye not eat, —upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
17 Nas tuas portas não poderás comer o dizimo do teu grão, nem do teu mosto, nem do teu azeite, nem as primogenituras das tuas vaccas, nem das tuas ovelhas; nem nenhum dos teus votos, que houveres votado, nem as tuas offertas voluntarias, nem a offerta alçada da tua mão
Thou mayest not eat within thy gates, the tithe of thy corn or of thy new wine or of thine oil, or the firstlings of thy herd, or of thy flock, —nor any of thy vow-offerings which thou shalt vow, nor thy freewill, offerings, nor the heave-offering of thy hand;
18 Mas o comerás perante o Senhor teu Deus, no logar que escolher o Senhor teu Deus, tu, e teu filho, e a tua filha, e o teu servo, e a tua serva, e o levita que está dentro das tuas portas: e perante o Senhor teu Deus te alegrarás em tudo em que pozeres a tua mão.
but before Yahweh thy God, shalt thou eat it in the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy servant and thy handmaid, and the Levite who is within thy gates, —so shalt thou rejoice before Yahweh thy God, in all whereunto thou puttest thy hand.
19 Guarda-te, que não desampares ao levita todos os teus dias na terra.
Take heed to thyself, lest thou forsake the Levite, —all thy days upon thy soil.
20 Quando o Senhor teu Deus dilatar os teus termos como te disse, e disseres: Comerei carne; porquanto a tua alma tem desejo de comer carne; conforme a todo o desejo da tua alma, comerás carne.
When Yahweh thy God shall enlarge thy boundary—as he hath spoken unto thee—and thou shalt say. I would eat flesh because thy soul desireth to eat flesh, of whatsoever thy soul desireth, mayest thou eat flesh.
21 Se estiver longe de ti o logar que o Senhor teu Deus escolher para ali pôr o seu nome, então degolarás das tuas vaccas e tuas ovelhas, que o Senhor te tiver dado, como te tenho ordenado; e comerás dentro das tuas portas, conforme a todo o desejo da tua alma.
When the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose to put his name there, shall be, too far for thee, then shalt thou sacrifice of thy herd or of thy flock which Yahweh hath given unto thee, as I have commanded thee, —and shalt eat, within thine own gates, of whatsoever thy soul desireth.
22 Porém, como se come o corço e o veado, assim comerás: o immundo e o limpo juntamente comerão d'elles.
Even as the gazelle and the hart is eaten, so, shalt thou eat it, —the unclean and the clean, alike shall eat it.
23 Sómente esforça-te para que não comas o sangue: pois o sangue é a vida: pelo que não comerás a vida com a carne
Howbeit firmly refrain from eating the blood; for the blood, is the life, —therefore must thou not eat the life with the flesh.
24 Não o comerás: na terra o derramarás como agua.
Thou shalt not eat it, —upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
25 Não o comerás; para que bem te succeda a ti, e a teus filhos, depois de ti, quando fizeres o que fôr recto aos olhos do Senhor.
Thou shalt not eat it, —that it may be well with thee and with thy children after thee when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.
26 Porém as tuas coisas sanctas que tiveres, e os teus votos tomarás, e virás ao logar que o Senhor escolher.
Howbeit, thy holy things which thou shalt have and thy vow-offerings, shalt thou take and come in, unto the place which Yahweh shall choose;
27 E offerecerás os teus holocaustos, a carne e o sangue sobre o altar do Senhor teu Deus; e o sangue dos teus sacrificios se derramará sobre o altar do Senhor teu Deus; porém a carne comerás.
and shalt offer thine ascending-sacrifices, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Yahweh thy God, —and the blood of thine [other] sacrifices, shall be poured out upon the altar of Yahweh thy God, and then the flesh, shalt thou eat.
28 Guarda e ouve todas estas palavras que te ordeno, para que bem te succeda a ti e a teus filhos depois de ti para sempre, quando fizeres o que fôr bom e recto aos olhos do Senhor teu Deus.
Observe and hear all these things which I am commanding thee, —that it may be well with thee and with thy children after thee, —unto times age-abiding, so long as thou shalt do that which is pleasing and right in the eyes of Yahweh thy God.
29 Quando o Senhor teu Deus desarraigar de diante de ti as nações, aonde vaes a possuil-as e as possuires e habitares na sua terra,
When Yahweh thy God shall cut off from before thee, the nations Whom thou art going in to dispossess, —and thou do dispossess them, and dwell in their land,
30 Guarda-te, que te não enlaces após ellas, depois que forem destruidas diante de ti; e que não perguntes ácêrca dos seus deuses, dizendo: Assim como serviram estas nações os seus deuses, do mesmo modo tambem farei eu.
take heed to thyself lest thou be thrust after them, after they have been destroyed from before thee, —and lest thou enquire after their gods, saying—In what manner, did these nations serve their gods, that, I too, may do likewise?
31 Assim não farás ao Senhor teu Deus: porque tudo o que é abominavel ao Senhor, o que aborrece, fizeram elles a seus deuses: pois até seus filhos e suas filhas queimaram com fogo aos seus deuses.
Thou shalt not do likewise unto Yahweh thy God, —for everything that is an abomination unto Yahweh which he doth hate, have they done unto their gods, for even their sons and their daughters, do they consume with fire unto their gods.
32 Tudo o que eu vos ordeno, observareis para fazer; nada lhe diminuirás.
Whatsoever be the thing which I am commanding you, the same, shall ye observe to do, —thou shalt neither add thereunto, nor take away therefrom.
