Colossenses 4
1 Vós, senhores, fazei o que fôr de justiça e equidade a vossos servos, sabendo que tambem tendes um Senhor nos céus.
The masters: give that which is righteous and equal to the servants, having known that you also have a Master in the heavens.
2 Perseverae em oração, velando n'ella com acção de graças:
Continue in the prayer, watching in it in thanksgiving,
3 Orando tambem juntamente por nós, para que Deus nos abra a porta da palavra, para fallarmos do mysterio de Christo, pelo qual estou tambem preso;
also praying for us at the same time, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the secret of the Christ, because of which I have also been bound,
4 Para que o manifeste, como me convém fallar.
that I may reveal it, as it is necessary for me to speak.
5 Andae com sabedoria para com os que estão de fóra, remindo o tempo.
Walk in wisdom toward those outside, redeeming the time,
6 A vossa palavra seja sempre agradavel, adubada com sal, para que saibaes como vos convém responder a cada um.
your word always being seasoned with salt in grace—to know how it is necessary for you to answer each one.
7 Tychico, irmão amado e fiel ministro, e conservo no Senhor, vos fará saber o meu estado:
Tychicus will make known to you all the things concerning me—the beloved brother, and faithful servant, and fellow-servant in the LORD—
8 O qual vos enviei para o mesmo fim, para que saiba do vosso estado e console os vossos corações;
whom I sent to you for this very thing, that he might know the things concerning you, and might comfort your hearts,
9 Juntamente com Onesimo, amado e fiel irmão, que é dos vossos; elles vos farão saber tudo o que por aqui se passa.
with Onesimus the faithful and beloved brother, who is of you; they will make known to you all things that [are] here.
10 Aristarcho, que está preso comigo, vos sauda, e Marcos, o sobrinho de Barnabé, ácerca do qual já recebestes mandamentos; se fôr ter comvosco, recebei-o;
Aristarchus greets you, my fellow-captive, and Marcus, the nephew of Barnabas (concerning whom you received commands—if he may come to you, receive him),
11 E, Jesus, chamado Justo: os quaes são da circumcisão: são estes só os meus cooperadores no reino de Deus; e para mim teem sido consolação.
and Jesus who is called Justus, who are of circumcision: these [are the] only fellow-workers for the Kingdom of God who become a comfort to me.
12 Sauda-vos Epaphras, que é dos vossos, servo de Christo, combatendo sempre por vós em orações, para que fiqueis firmes, perfeitos e consumados em toda a vontade de Deus.
Epaphras greets you, who [is] of you, a servant of Christ, always striving for you in the prayers, that you may stand perfect and made full in all the will of God,
13 Pois eu lhe dou testemunho de que tem grande zelo por vós, e pelos que estão em Laodicea, e pelos que estão em Hierapolis.
for I testify to him that he has much zeal for you, and those in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.
14 Sauda-vos Lucas, o medico amado, e Damas.
Lucas greets you, the beloved physician, and Demas;
15 Saudae aos irmãos que estão em Laodicea, e a Nympha e á egreja que está em sua casa.
those in Laodicea greet you—brothers, and Nymphas, and the assembly in his house;
16 E, quando esta epistola tiver sido lida entre vós, fazei que tambem seja lida na egreja dos laodicenses, e a que veiu de Laodicea lede-a vós tambem.
and when the letter may be read with you, cause that it may also be read in the assembly of the Laodiceans, and the [letter] from Laodicea that you also may read;
17 E dizei a Archippo: Attenta para o ministerio que recebeste no Senhor; para que o cumpras.
and say to Archippus, “See to the ministry that you received in the LORD, that you may fulfill it.”
18 Saudação de minha mão, de Paulo. Lembrae-vos das minhas prisões. A graça seja comvosco. Amen
The salutation [is] by my hand, Paul. Remember my bonds. The grace [is] with you! Amen.
