Amós 9
1 Vi o Senhor, que estava em pé sobre o altar, e me disse: Fere o capitel, e estremeçam os umbraes, e corta-lhes em pedaços a cabeça a todos elles; e eu matarei á espada até ao ultimo d'elles: o que fugir d'entre elles não escapará, nem o que escapar d'entre elles se salvará
I siy the Lord stondynge on the auter, and he seide, Smyte thou the herre, and the ouer threshfoldis be mouyd togidere; for aueryce is in the heed of alle, and Y schal sle bi swerd the laste of hem; ther schal no fliyt be to hem, and he that schal fle of hem, schal not be sauyd.
2 Ainda que cavem até ao inferno, a minha mão os tirará d'ali, e, se subirem ao céu, d'ali os farei descer. (Sheol h7585)
If thei schulen go doun til to helle, fro thennus myn hond schal lede out hem; and if thei schulen `stie til in to heuene, fro thennus Y schal drawe hem doun. (Sheol h7585)
3 E, se se esconderem no cume do Carmelo, buscal-os-hei, e d'ali os tirarei; e, se se occultarem aos meus olhos no fundo do mar, ali darei ordem á serpente, e ella os morderá.
And if thei schulen be hid in the cop of Carmele, fro thennus Y sekynge schal do awei hem; and if thei schulen hide hem silf fro myn iyen in the depnesse of the see, there Y shal comaunde to a serpente, and it schal bite hem.
4 E, se forem em captiveiro diante de seus inimigos, ali darei ordem á espada que os mate; e eu porei o meu olho sobre elles para mal, e não para bem.
And if thei schulen go awei in to caitifte bifore her enemyes, there Y schal comaunde to swerd, and it schal sle hem. And Y schal putte myn iyen on hem in to yuel, and not in to good.
5 Porque o Senhor Jehovah dos Exercitos é o que toca a terra, e ella se derreterá, e todos os que habitam n'ella chorarão; e ella subirá toda como um rio, e submergirá como pelo rio do Egypto.
And the Lord God of oostis schal do these thingis, that touchith erthe, and it schal faile, and alle men dwellynge ther ynne schulen mourene; and it schal stie vp as ech stronde, and it schal flete awei as flood of Egipt.
6 Elle é o que edifica os seus degraus no céu, e o seu esquadrão fundou na terra, e o que chama as aguas do mar, e as derrama sobre a terra: o Senhor é o seu nome.
He that bildith his stiyng vp in heuene, schal do these thingis, and foundide his birthun on erthe; which clepith watris of the see, and heldith out hem on the face of erthe; the Lord is name of hym.
7 Não me sois, vós, ó filhos de Israel, como os filhos dos ethiopes? diz o Senhor; não fiz eu subir a Israel da terra do Egypto, e aos philisteos de Caphtor, e aos syrios de Kir
Whether not as sones of Ethiopiens ye ben to me, the sones of Israel? seith the Lord God. Whether Y made not Israel for to stie vp fro the lond of Egipt, and Palestines fro Capodosie, and Siriens fro Cirenen?
8 Eis que os olhos do Senhor Jehovah estão contra este reino peccador, e eu o destruirei de sobre a face da terra, excepto que não destruirei de todo a casa de Jacob, diz o Senhor.

9 Porque eis que darei ordem, e sacudirei a casa de Israel entre todas as nações, assim como se sacode grão no crivo, sem que caia na terra um só grão.
For lo! Y schal comaunde, and schal schake the hous of Israel in alle folkis, as wheete is in a riddil, and a litil stoon schal not falle on erthe.
10 Todos os peccadores do meu povo morrerão á espada, os que dizem: Não se avisinhará nem nos encontrará o mal.

11 N'aquelle dia tornarei a levantar a caida tenda de David, e cercarei as suas aberturas, e tornarei a levantar as suas ruinas, e a edificarei como nos dias da antiguidade;

12 Para que possuam o restante de Edom, e todas as nações que são chamadas pelo meu nome, diz o Senhor, que faz isto.
as in olde daies, that thei welde the remenauntis of Idume, and alle naciouns; for that my name is clepun to help on hem, seith the Lord doynge these thingis.
13 Eis que veem dias, diz o Senhor, em que o que lavra alcançará ao que sega, e o que piza as uvas ao que semeia a semente, e os montes distillarão mosto, e todos os outeiros se derreterão.
Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and the erere schal take the repere, and `the stampere of grape schal take the man sowynge seed; and mounteyns schulen droppe swetnesse, and alle smale hillis schulen be tilid.
14 E tornarei o captiveiro do meu povo Israel, e reedificarão as cidades assoladas, e n'ellas habitarão, e plantarão vinhas, e beberão o seu vinho, e farão jardins, e lhes comerão o fructo.
And Y schal conuerte the caitifte of my puple Israel, and thei schulen bilde forsakun citees, and schulen dwelle; and schulen plaunte vyneyerdis, and thei schulen drynke wyn of hem; and schulen make gardyns, and schulen ete fruitis of hem.
15 E os plantarei na sua terra, e não serão mais arrancados da sua terra que lhes dei, diz o Senhor teu Deus.
And Y schal plaunte hem on her lond, and Y schal no more drawe out hem of her lond, which Y yaf to hem, seith the Lord thi God.
