Amós 6
1 Ai dos descançados em Sião, e dos seguros no monte de Samaria: que teem nome entre as primeiras das nações, e aos quaes se foi a casa de Israel!
Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
2 Passae a Calne, e vêde; e d'ali ide á grande Hamath; e descei a Gath dos philisteos, se são melhores que estes reinos, ou maior o seu termo do que o vosso termo.
Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
3 Vós que affastaes o dia mau, e achegaes o assento de violencia.
Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
4 Os que dormem em camas de marfim, e se estendem sobre os seus leitos, e comem os cordeiros do rebanho, e os bezerros do meio da manada:
Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
5 Que cantam ao som do alaúde, e inventam para si instrumentos musicos, assim como David:
Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
6 Que bebem vinho de taças, e se ungem com o mais excellente oleo: mas não se affligem pela quebra de José:
Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
7 Portanto agora irão em captiveiro entre os primeiros dos que forem em captiveiro, e cessarão os festins dos estendidos.
therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
8 Jurou o Senhor Jehovah pela sua alma (diz o Senhor Deus dos exercitos): Tenho em abominação a soberba de Jacob, e aborreço os seus palacios; e entregarei a cidade e a sua plenitude.
He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
9 E acontecerá que, ficando de resto dez homens n'uma casa, morrerão.
And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
10 E a alguem tomará o seu tio, ou o que o queima, para levar os ossos fóra da casa; e dirá ao que estiver nos cantos da casa: Está ainda alguem comtigo? E elle dirá: Nenhum. E dirá este: Cala-te, porque não convem fazer menção do nome do Senhor.
And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
11 Porque, eis que o Senhor dá ordem, e ferirá a casa grande de quebraduras, e a casa pequena de fendas.
For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
12 Porventura correrão cavallos na rocha? arar-se-ha n'ella com bois? porque haveis vós tornado o juizo em fel, e o fructo da justiça em alosna?
¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
13 Vós que vos alegraes de nada, vós que dizeis: Não nos temos nós tornado poderosos por nossa força?
The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
14 Porque, eis que eu levantarei sobre vós, ó casa de Israel, um povo, diz o Senhor Deus dos Exercitos, e opprimir-vos-hão, desde a entrada de Hamath até ao ribeiro da planicie.
For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
