1 Crônicas 4
1 Os filhos de Judah foram: Perez, e Hezron, e Carmi, e Hur, e Sobal.
Sons of Judah: Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
2 E Reaias, filho de Sobal, gerou a Jahath, e Jahath gerou a Ahumai e a Lahad: estas são as familias dos zorathisas.
And Reaiah son of Shobal begat Jahath, and Jahath begat Ahumai and Lahad; these [are] families of the Zorathite.
3 E estes foram os filhos do pae de Etam: Jezreel, e Isma, e Idbas: e era o nome de sua irmã Hazzelelponi.
And these [are] of the father of Etam: Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister [is] Hazzelelponi,
4 E mais Penuel, pae de Gedor, e Ezer, pae de Husa: estes foram os filhos de Hur, o primogenito de Ephrata, pae de Beth-lehem.
and Penuel [is] father of Gedor, and Ezer father of Hushah. These [are] sons of Hur, first-born of Ephratah, father of Beth-Lehem.
5 E tinha Ashur, pae de Tekoa, duas mulheres: Hela e Naara.
And to Ashhur father of Tekoa were two wives, Helah and Naarah;
6 E Naara lhe pariu a Ahuzzam, e a Hepher, e a Temeni, e a Haahastari; estes foram os filhos de Naara.
and Naarah beareth to him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari: these [are] sons of Naarah.
7 E os filhos de Hela: Zereth, Jesohar, e Ethnan.
And sons of Helah: Zereth, and Zohar, and Ethnan.
8 E Kos gerou a Anub e a Zobeba: e as familias d'Aharhel, filho de Harum.
And Coz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel son of Harum.
9 E foi Jabes mais illustre do que seus irmãos: e sua mãe chamou o seu nome Jabes, dizendo: Porquanto com dôres o pari.
And Jabez is honoured above his brethren, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, 'Because I have brought forth with grief.'
10 Porque Jabes invocou o Deus de Israel, dizendo: Se me abençoares muitissimo, e meus termos amplificares, e a tua mão fôr comigo, e fizeres que do mal não seja afflicto! E Deus lhe concedeu o que lhe tinha pedido.
And Jabez calleth to the God of Israel, saying, 'If blessing Thou dost bless me, then Thou hast made great my border, and Thy hand hath been with me, and Thou hast kept [me] from evil — not to grieve me;' and God bringeth in that which he asked.
11 E Chelub, irmão de Suha, gerou a Mehir: este é o pae de Esthon.
And Chelub brother of Shuah begat Mehir; he [is] father of Eshton.
12 E Esthon gerou a Bethrapha, e a Peseah, e a Tehinna, pae de Ir-nahas: estes foram os homens de Reca.
And Eshton begat Beth-Rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah father of Ir-Nahash; these [are] men of Rechah.
13 E foram os filhos de Kenas: Othniel e Seraias; e filhos de Othniel: Hathath.
And sons of Kenaz: Othniel, and Seraiah; and sons of Othniel: Hathath.
14 E Meonothai gerou a Ophra, e Seraias gerou a Joab, pae dos do valle dos artifices; porque foram artifices.
And Meonothai begat Ophrah, and Seraiah begat Joab father of the valley of artificers, for they were artificers.
15 E foram os filhos de Caleb, filho de Jefone: Iru, Ela, e Naam: e os filhos de Ela, a saber, Kenas.
And sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and sons of Elah, even Kenaz.
16 E os filhos de Jehalelel: Ziph, e Zipha, e Tiria e Asareel.
And sons of Jehaleleel: Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
17 E os filhos de Ezra: Jether, e Mered, e Epher, e Jalon: e ella pariu a Miriam, e Sammai, e Isbah, pae de Esthemo.
And sons of Ezra [are] Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she beareth Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah father of Eshtemoa.
18 E sua mulher, judia, pariu a Jered, pae de Gedor, e a Heber, pae de Soco, e a Jekuthiel, pae de Zanohah; e estes foram os filhos de Bitia, filha de Pharaó, que Mered tomou.
And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered father of Gedor, and Heber father of Socho, and Jekuthiel father of Zanoah. And these [are] sons of Bithiah daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took,
19 E foram os filhos da mulher de Hodias, irmã de Naham: Abikeila, o garmita, e Esthemo, o maacatita.
and sons of the wife of Hodiah sister of Nahom: Abi-Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
20 E os filhos de Simeão: Amnon, e Rinna, e Ben-hanan, e Tilon: e os filhos de Ishi: Zoheth e Benzoheth.
And sons of Shimon [are] Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-Hanon, and Tilon; and sons of Ishi: Zoheth, and Ben-Zoheth.
21 Os filhos de Sela, filho de Judah: Er, pae de Lecha, e Lada, pae de Maresa, e as familias da casa dos obreiros de linho, em casa de Asbea.
Sons of Shelah son of Judah: Er father of Lecah, and Laadah father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of the service of fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
22 Como tambem Jokim, e os homens de Cozeba, e Joás, e Saraph (que dominaram sobre os moabitas), e Jasubi-lehem: porém estas coisas já são antigas.
and Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who ruled over Moab and Jashubi-Lehem; and these things [are] ancient.
23 Estes foram oleiros, e habitavam nas hortas e nos cerrados: estes ficaram ali com o rei na sua obra.
They [are] the potters and inhabitants of Netaim and Gedera; with the king in his work they dwelt there.
24 Os filhos de Simeão foram Nemuel, e Jamin, e Jarib, e Zera, e Saul,
Sons of Simeon: Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul;
25 Cujo filho foi Sallum, e seu filho Mibsam, e seu filho Misma.
Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
26 E os filhos de Misma foram: Hammuel, seu filho, cujo filho foi Zaccur, e seu filho Simei.
And sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.
27 E Simei teve dezeseis filhos, e seis filhas, porém seus irmãos não tiveram muitos filhos: e toda a sua familia não se multiplicou tanto como as dos filhos de Judah.
And to Shimei [are] sixteen sons and six daughters, and to his brethren there are not many sons, and none of their families have multiplied as much as the sons of Judah.
28 E habitaram em Berseba, e em Moluda, e em Hasar-sual,
And they dwell in Beer-Sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-Shaul,
29 E em Bilha, e em Esem, e em Tholad,
and in Bilhah, and in Ezem, and in Tolad,
30 E em Bethuel, e em Horma, e em Ziklag,
and in Bethuel, and in Hormah, and in Ziklag,
31 E em Beth-marcaboth, e em Hasar-susim, e Beth-biri, e em Saaraim: estas foram as suas cidades, até que David reinou.
and in Beth-Marcaboth, and in Hazar-Susim, and in Beth-Birei, and in Shaarim; these [are] their cities till the reigning of David.
32 E foram as suas aldeias: Etam, e Ain, e Rimmon, e Tochen, e Asan: cinco cidades.
And their villages [are] Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities,
33 E todas as suas aldeias, que estavam em redor d'estas cidades, até Baal, estas foram as suas habitações e suas genealogias para elles.
and all their villages that [are] round about these cities unto Baal; these [are] their dwellings, and they have their genealogy:
34 Porém Mesobab, e Jamlech, e Josa, filho de Amasias,
even Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah son of Amaziah,
35 E Joel, e Jehu, filho de Josibias, filho de Seraias, filho de Asiel,
and Joel, and Jehu son of Josibiah, son of Seraiah, son of Asiel,
36 E Elioenai, e Jaakoba, e Jeshoaias, e Asaias, e Adiel, e Jesimiel, e Benaias,
and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 E Ziza, filho de Siphi, filho de Allon, filho de Jedaias, filho de Simri, filho de Semaia:
and Ziza son of Shiphi, son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah.
38 Estes, registrados por seus nomes, foram principes nas suas familias: e as familias de seus paes se multiplicaram abundantemente.
These who are coming in by name [are] princes in their families, and the house of their fathers have broken forth into a multitude;
39 E chegaram até á entrada de Gedor, ao oriente do valle, a buscar pasto para as suas ovelhas.
and they go to the entrance of Gedor, unto the east of the valley, to seek pasture for their flock,
40 E acharam pasto fertil e terra espaçosa, e quieta, e descançada; porque os de Cão habitaram ali d'antes.
and they find pasture, fat and good, and the land broad of sides, and quiet, and safe, for of Ham are those dwelling there before.
41 Estes pois, que estão descriptos por seus nomes, vieram nos dias de Ezequias, rei de Judah, e feriram as tendas e habitações dos que se acharam ali, e as destruiram totalmente até ao dia d'hoje, e habitaram em seu logar: porque ali havia pasto para as suas ovelhas.
And these who are written by name come in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smite their tents, and the habitations that have been found there, and devote them to destruction unto this day, and dwell in their stead, because pasture for their flock [is] there.
42 Tambem d'elles, dos filhos de Simeão, quinhentos homens foram ás montanhas de Seir; e a Pelatias, e a Nearias, e a Rephaias, e a Uzziel, filhos de Ishi, levaram por cabeças.
And of them, of the sons of Simeon, there have gone to mount Seir, five hundred men, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, sons of Ishi, at their head,
43 E feriram o restante dos que escaparam dos amalekitas, e habitaram ali até ao dia d'hoje.
and they smite the remnant of those escaped of Amalek, and dwell there unto this day.
