Psalmów 62

1 Przewodnikowi chóru, dla Jedutuna. Psalm Dawida. Tylko w Bogu spoczywa moja dusza, od niego [pochodzi] moje zbawienie.

For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. My soul waiteth only upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.

2 Tylko on jest moją skałą i zbawieniem, moją twierdzą; nie zachwieję się za bardzo.

He only is my rock and my salvation: [he is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved.

3 Jak długo będziecie knuć zło przeciwko człowiekowi? Wy wszyscy [będziecie] zabici, będziecie jak pochylona ściana i jak walący się [mur].

How long will ye set upon a man, that ye may slay [him], all of you, like a bowing wall, like a tottering fence?

4 Oni tylko naradzają się, jak go strącić z dostojeństwa; mają upodobanie w kłamstwie, ustami swymi błogosławią, ale w sercu złorzeczą. (Sela)

They only consult to thrust him down from his excellency; they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)

5 Tylko w Bogu spocznij, moja duszo, bo od niego pochodzi moja nadzieja.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

6 On jedynie jest moją skałą i zbawieniem, moją twierdzą; nie zachwieję się.

He only is my rock and my salvation: [he is] my high tower; I shall not be moved.

7 W Bogu moje wybawienie i moja chwała; skała mojej mocy, moja ucieczka [jest] w Bogu.

With God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

8 Ufajcie mu w każdym czasie, o narody, wylewajcie przed nim wasze serca; Bóg jest naszą ucieczką. (Sela)

Trust in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. (Selah)

9 Doprawdy synowie ludzcy [są] marnością, synowie mocarzy – zawodni; położeni na wagę, wszyscy razem są lżejsi niż marność.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: in the balances they will go up; they are together lighter than vanity.

10 Nie pokładajcie ufności w ucisku ani nie łudźcie się grabieżą; jeśli przybędzie [wam] bogactw, nie przywiązujcie [do nich] serca.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [thereon].

11 Bóg raz przemówił, dwa razy to słyszałem, że moc należy do Boga;

God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God:

12 I do ciebie, Panie, należy miłosierdzie, bo ty oddajesz każdemu według jego uczynków.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
