Psalmów 46
1 Przewodnikowi chóru dla synów Korego. Pieśń na Alamot. Bóg [jest] naszą ucieczką i siłą, najpewniejszą pomocą w utrapieniu.
To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.
2 Dlatego nie będziemy się bać, choćby się poruszyła ziemia, choćby się przeniosły góry w sam środek morza;
Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
3 Choćby huczały i burzyły się jego wody i zatrzęsły się góry od jego nawałnicy. (Sela)
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)
4 [Jest] rzeka, której strumienie rozweselają miasto Boże, [miejsce] święte przybytków Najwyższego.
Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.
5 Bóg [jest] pośrodku niego, nie będzie zachwiane; Bóg je wspomoże zaraz o świcie.
God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.
6 Wzburzyły się narody, zachwiały się królestwa, on wydał swój głos i rozpłynęła się ziemia.
When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.
7 PAN zastępów [jest] z nami; Bóg Jakuba [jest] naszą twierdzą. (Sela)
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
8 Chodźcie, zobaczcie dzieła PANA, jakie spustoszenia uczynił na ziemi.
Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 On kładzie kres wojnom aż po krańce ziemi, kruszy łuki i łamie włócznie, a rydwany pali ogniem.
He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
10 Uspokójcie się i uznajcie, że ja jestem Bogiem; będę wywyższony wśród narodów, będę wywyższony na ziemi.
Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.
