1 Przewodnikowi chóru, na Neginot. Psalm Dawida. Wysłuchaj mnie, gdy [cię] wzywam, Boże mojej sprawiedliwości! Ty wyzwoliłeś mnie w [czasie] ucisku. Zmiłuj się nade mną i wysłuchaj mojej modlitwy.
For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved my distress; show me grace and hear my prayer.
2 Synowie ludzcy, jak długo [będziecie] znieważać moją chwałę? [Jak długo] będziecie miłować marność [i] szukać kłamstwa? (Sela)
How long, O men, will my honor be maligned? How long will you love vanity and seek after lies?
3 Wiedzcie, że PAN oddzielił dla siebie pobożnego. PAN wysłucha, gdy zawołam do niego.
Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for Himself; the LORD hears when I call to Him.
4 Zadrżyjcie i nie grzeszcie. Rozmyślajcie w swym sercu na łożu i zamilczcie. (Sela)
Be angry, yet do not sin; on your bed, search your heart and be still.
5 Składajcie ofiary sprawiedliwości i ufajcie PANU.
Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.
6 Wielu mówi: Któż pokaże nam dobro? PANIE, wznieś nad nami światło twego oblicza.
Many ask, “Who can show us the good?” Shine the light of Your face upon us, O LORD.
7 Wlałeś w moje serce więcej radości niż w czasie, gdy obfitowały ich zboże i wino.
You have filled my heart with more joy than when grain and new wine abound.
8 W spokoju się położę i zasnę, bo ty sam, PANIE, sprawiasz, że mieszkam bezpiecznie.
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
