Psalmów 32
1 Psalm Dawida. Pieśń pouczająca. Błogosławiony [ten], komu przebaczono występek, komu grzech zakryto.
Blessed are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Błogosławiony człowiek, któremu PAN nie poczytuje nieprawości i w którego duchu nie ma podstępu.
Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not impute sin, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3 Gdy milczałem, moje kości schły od moich całodziennych narzekań.
When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.
4 We dnie i w nocy bowiem ciążyła na mnie twoja ręka, usychałem jak podczas letniej suszy. (Sela)
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture was changed as with the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 Wyznałem ci swój grzech i nie kryłem mojej nieprawości. Powiedziałem: Wyznam moje występki PANU, a ty przebaczyłeś nieprawość mego grzechu. (Sela)
I acknowledged my sin to thee, and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Jehovah, and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 Dlatego do ciebie będzie się modlił każdy pobożny w czasie, gdy można cię znaleźć; nawet w czasie powodzi wielkich wód, one go nie dosięgną.
For this let everyone who is devout pray to thee in a time when thou may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach to him.
7 Ty jesteś moim schronieniem, zachowasz mnie od ucisku; otaczasz [mnie] pieśniami wybawienia. (Sela)
Thou are my hiding-place. Thou will preserve me from trouble. Thou will encompass me around with songs of deliverance. (Selah)
8 Pouczę cię i nauczę cię drogi, którą masz kroczyć, poprowadzę cię swoim okiem.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shall go. I will counsel thee with my eye upon thee.
9 Nie bądźcie bezrozumni jak koń [czy] jak muł, których pyski trzeba okiełznać uzdą i wędzidłem, aby się na ciebie nie porywały.
Become ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding, whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, else they will not come near to thee.
10 Wiele cierpień [spada] na niegodziwego, lecz ufającego PANU otoczy miłosierdzie.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he who trusts in Jehovah, loving kindness shall encompass him about.
11 Weselcie się w PANU i radujcie się sprawiedliwi, wykrzykujcie [radośnie], wszyscy prawego serca.
Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous. And shout for joy, all ye who are upright in heart.
