Psalmów 149

1 Alleluja. Śpiewajcie PANU nową pieśń; niech jego chwała zabrzmi w zgromadzeniu świętych.

Praise Adonai! Sing to Adonai a new song, his tehilah ·praise song· in the assembly of the saints.

2 Niech Izrael cieszy się swoim Stwórcą; niech synowie Syjonu radują się swoim Królem.

Let Israel [God prevails] rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] be joyful in their King.

3 Niech chwalą jego imię tańcem; niech grają mu na bębnie i na harfie.

Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with tambourine and harp!

4 PAN bowiem swój lud upodobał sobie; zdobi pokornych zbawieniem.

For Adonai takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with yishu'ah ·salvation·.

5 Niech święci się radują w chwale [Bożej], niech śpiewają na swych posłaniach.

Let the saints rejoice in kavod ·weighty glory·. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

6 Niech chwała Boża będzie na ich ustach, a miecz obosieczny w ich rękach;

May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 Aby dokonali zemsty na poganach i ukarali narody;

To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;

8 Aby zakuli ich królów w kajdany, a ich dostojników w żelazne okowy;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 Aby wykonali na nich zapisany wyrok. Taka jest chwała wszystkich jego świętych. Alleluja.
