Psalmów 118

1 Wysławiajcie PANA, bo jest dobry, bo jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.

O GIVE thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

2 Niech powie teraz Izrael, że jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.

Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

3 Niech powie teraz dom Aarona, że jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.

Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

4 Niech powiedzą teraz ci, którzy się boją PANA, że jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

5 Wzywałem PANA w ucisku; PAN mnie wysłuchał i postawił mnie na miejscu przestronnym.

Out of my distress I called upon the LORD: the LORD answered me [and set me] in a large place.

6 PAN jest ze mną, nie będę się bał; cóż może mi uczynić człowiek?

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 PAN jest ze mną wśród tych, którzy mi pomagają, więc zobaczę [pomstę] nad tymi, którzy mnie nienawidzą.

The LORD is on my side among them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

8 Lepiej ufać PANU, niż polegać na człowieku.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 Lepiej ufać PANU, niż polegać na władcach.

It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in princes.

10 Wszystkie narody mnie otoczyły, ale w imię PANA wytępiłem je.

All nations compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

11 Otoczyły mnie, tak, otoczyły mnie, ale w imię PANA wytępiłem je.

They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

12 Otoczyły mnie jak pszczoły, ale zgasły [jak] ogień z cierni, bo w imię PANA wytępiłem je.

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

13 Pchnąłeś mnie silnie, abym upadł, ale PAN mi pomógł.

Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14 PAN [jest] moją siłą i pieśnią, on stał się moim zbawieniem.

The LORD is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

15 Głos radości i zbawienia w namiotach sprawiedliwych: Prawica PANA działa potężnie;

The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16 Prawica PANA jest wywyższona, prawica PANA działa potężnie.

The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 Nie umrę, lecz będę żył i opowiadał dzieła PANA.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 PAN ukarał mnie surowo, ale nie wydał mnie na śmierć.

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 Otwórzcie mi bramy sprawiedliwości, a wejdę w nie i będę wysławiał PANA.

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.

20 To jest brama PANA, którą wchodzą sprawiedliwi.

This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.

21 Będę cię wysławiać, bo mnie wysłuchałeś i stałeś się moim zbawieniem.

I will give thanks unto thee, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.

22 Kamień, [który] odrzucili budujący, stał się kamieniem węgielnym.

The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.

23 PAN to sprawił i jest to cudowne w naszych oczach.

This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 Oto dzień, który PAN uczynił, weselmy się i radujmy się w nim.

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Proszę, PANIE, wybaw teraz; proszę, PANIE, daj pomyślność.

Save now, we beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, we beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 Błogosławiony, który przychodzi w imię PANA; błogosławimy wam z domu PANA.

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 Bóg jest PANEM, on nas oświecił; przywiążcie baranki powrozami aż do rogów ołtarza.

The LORD is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Ty jesteś moim Bogiem, będę cię wysławiać; mój Boże, będę cię wywyższać.

Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 Wysławiajcie PANA, bo [jest] dobry, bo jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
