Psalmów 114

1 Gdy Izrael wychodził z Egiptu, dom Jakuba spośród ludu obcego języka;

When Israel came forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

2 Juda stał się jego świątynią, Izrael jego panowaniem.

Judah became His sanctuary, Israel His dominion.

3 Morze to ujrzało i uciekło, Jordan wstecz się odwrócił.

The sea saw it, and fled; the Jordan turned backward.

4 Góry skakały jak barany, pagórki jak jagnięta.

The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like young sheep.

5 Morze, cóż ci [się stało], żeś uciekło, a tobie, Jordanie, że wstecz się odwróciłeś?

What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleest? thou Jordan, that thou turnest backward?

6 Góry, [że] skakałyście jak barany, a wy, pagórki, jak jagnięta?

Ye mountains, that ye skip like rams; ye hills, like young sheep?

7 Zadrżyj, ziemio, przed obliczem Pana, przed obliczem Boga Jakuba;

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

8 Który zamienia skałę w jezioro, [a] krzemień w źródło wód.

Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
