Psalmów 112

1 Alleluja. Błogosławiony człowiek, który boi się PANA i ma upodobanie w jego przykazaniach.

Praise ye Yah! How happy is the man who revereth Yahweh, In his commandments, delighteth he greatly;

2 Jego potomstwo będzie potężne na ziemi, pokolenie prawych będzie błogosławione.

Mighty in the earth, shall be his seed, The generation of the upright, shall be blessed;

3 Dobrobyt i bogactwo są w jego domu, a jego sprawiedliwość trwa na wieki.

Wealth and riches, shall be in his house, and, his righteousness, standeth for aye.

4 Dla prawych wschodzi światłość w ciemności; [on jest] łaskawy, miłosierny i sprawiedliwy.

Risen—in darkness, is light to the upright, The gracious and compassionate and righteous.

5 Dobry człowiek lituje się i pożycza, [i] prowadzi swoje sprawy rozważnie.

Well for a man showing favour and lending! He shall sustain his affairs with justice.

6 Na pewno nigdy się nie zachwieje, sprawiedliwy na wieki pozostanie w pamięci.

Surely, unto times age-abiding, shall he not be shaken, In remembrance, age-abiding, shall the righteous one remain;

7 Nie będzie się bał złej nowiny, jego serce jest stateczne, ufa PANU.

Of evil tidings, shall he not be afraid, Established is his heart, led to trust in Yahweh;

8 Jego serce jest umocnione, nie będzie się bał, aż zobaczy [pomstę] nad swymi wrogami.

Upheld is his heart, he shall not be afraid, until that he gazeth on his foes.

9 Rozrzucił i dał ubogim, jego sprawiedliwość trwa na wieki, jego róg będzie wywyższony w chwale.

He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy, His righteousness, standeth for aye, His horn, shall be exalted in honour.

10 Niegodziwy zobaczy to i rozgniewa się, zgrzytnie zębami i uschnie, pragnienie niegodziwych zginie.

The lawless one, shall see, and be indignant, his teeth, will he gnash and melt away, The craving of the lawless, shall vanish.
