Psalmów 108

1 Pieśń. Psalm Dawida. Boże, moje serce jest gotowe; będę ci śpiewać i wysławiać cię, także i moja chwała.

A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2 Obudź się, cytro i harfo, gdy o świcie powstanę.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

3 Będę cię wysławiać wśród ludu, PANIE, będę ci śpiewał wśród narodów.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations.

4 Twoje miłosierdzie bowiem jest wielkie, [sięga] ponad niebiosa, a twoja prawda aż pod obłoki.

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth to the clouds.

5 Bądź wywyższony ponad niebiosa, Boże, a twoja chwała ponad całą ziemię;

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6 Aby twoi umiłowani byli ocaleni, wybaw ich swoją prawicą i wysłuchaj mnie.

That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

7 Bóg przemówił w swej świętości: Będę się weselić, rozdzielę Sychem, a dolinę Sukkot wymierzę.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

8 Mój [jest] Gilead, mój i Manasses, Efraim mocą mojej głowy, Juda moim prawodawcą.

Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver;

9 Moab jest moją miednicą do mycia, na Edom rzucę moje obuwie, nad Filisteą zatriumfuję.

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10 Kto mnie wprowadzi do miasta warownego? Kto mnie doprowadzi aż do Edomu?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 Czy nie [ty], Boże, [który] nas odrzuciłeś? Czy nie wyruszysz, Boże, z naszymi wojskami?

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?

12 Udziel nam pomocy w ucisku, bo próżna jest pomoc ludzka.

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

13 W Bogu będziemy mężni, on podepcze naszych wrogów.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies.
