Psalmów 104
1 Błogosław, moja duszo, PANA. PANIE, mój Boże, jesteś bardzo wielki; odziałeś się w chwałę i majestat.
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2 Okryłeś się światłością jak szatą, rozciągnąłeś niebiosa jak zasłonę.
Who coverest [thyself] with light as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3 Zbudowałeś na wodach swoje komnaty, czynisz obłoki swym rydwanem, chodzisz na skrzydłach wiatru.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4 Czynisz swoich aniołów duchami, swe sługi ogniem płonącym.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Założyłeś fundamenty ziemi, tak że się nigdy nie zachwieje.
[Who] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever.
6 Okryłeś ją głębią jak szatą, wody stanęły nad górami.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as [with] a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7 Na twoje zgromienie rozbiegły się, a na głos twego grzmotu szybko pouciekały.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8 Wzniosły się ponad góry, zniżyły się w doliny, na miejsce, które dla nich założyłeś.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
9 Wyznaczyłeś [im] granicę, aby jej nie przekroczyły ani nie powróciły, by okryć ziemię.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 Wypuszczasz źródła po dolinach, [aby] płynęły między górami;
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, [which] run among the hills.
11 I napoiły wszystkie zwierzęta polne, dzikie osły gaszą [w nich] swoje pragnienie.
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 Przy nich mieszka ptactwo niebieskie i śpiewa pośród gałęzi.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, [which] sing among the branches.
13 Nawadniasz góry ze swoich komnat, owocami twoich dzieł syci się ziemia.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 Sprawiasz, że rośnie trawa dla bydła i zioła na użytek człowieka, żeby dobywał chleb z ziemi;
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 I wino, które rozwesela serce człowieka, i oliwę, od której rozjaśnia się twarz, i chleb, który krzepi serce ludzkie.
And wine [that] maketh glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make [his] face to shine, and bread [which] strengtheneth man’s heart.
16 Nasycone są drzewa PANA, cedry Libanu, które zasadził;
The trees of the LORD are full [of sap; ] the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Na których ptaki mają swe gniazda; jedliny, na których bocian [ma] swój dom.
Where the birds make their nests: [as for] the stork, the fir trees [are] her house.
18 Wysokie góry są dla górskich kozłów, a skały [są] schronieniem dla królików.
The high hills [are] a refuge for the wild goats; [and] the rocks for the conies.
19 Uczynił księżyc, aby odmierzał czas; słońce zna swój zachód.
He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Sprowadzasz ciemność i nastaje noc, w której wychodzą wszystkie zwierzęta leśne.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep [forth].
21 Lwiątka ryczą za łupem i szukają swego pokarmu od Boga.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
22 Słońce wstaje, schodzą się razem i kładą się w swoich jamach.
The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
23 [Wtedy] wychodzi człowiek do swojej roboty i do swojej pracy aż do wieczora.
Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
24 O, jak liczne są twoje dzieła, PANIE! Wszystkie je uczyniłeś mądrze, ziemia jest pełna twego bogactwa.
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Oto morze wielkie i szerokie, w nim niezliczone istoty pełzające, zwierzęta małe i wielkie.
[So is] this great and wide sea, wherein [are] things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26 Po nim pływają okręty i Lewiatan, którego stworzyłeś, aby w nim igrał.
There go the ships: [there is] that leviathan, [whom] thou hast made to play therein.
27 Wszystko to czeka na ciebie, abyś dał im pokarm we właściwym czasie.
These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give [them] their meat in due season.
28 [Gdy] dajesz im, zbierają; gdy otwierasz swą rękę, sycą się dobrami.
[That] thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
29 [Lecz gdy] ukrywasz swe oblicze, trwożą się; gdy odbierasz im ducha, giną i obracają się w proch.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30 [Gdy] wysyłasz twego ducha, zostają stworzone i odnawiasz oblicze ziemi.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 Niech chwała PANA trwa na wieki, niech się raduje PAN swymi dziełami.
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
32 Patrzy na ziemię, a ona drży, dotyka gór, a dymią.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33 Będę śpiewał PANU, póki żyję; będę śpiewał memu Bogu, póki istnieję.
I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 Moje rozmyślanie o nim wdzięczne będzie, rozraduję się w PANU.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
35 Niech zostaną wytraceni z ziemi grzesznicy i niech nie będzie już niegodziwych! Błogosław, moja duszo, PANA. Alleluja.
Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
